Object-Oriented Components Reuse System using Enhanced SARM (개선된 SARM을 이용한 객체지향 부품 재사용 시스템)

  • In this paper, we made software components reusable through syntax-analysis method, designed a Viewer for understanding component information, and retrieved similar components by using Enhanced SARM. Because SARM requires a lot of computation time, it was enhanced by reducing unnecessary activation value. Also GUI was designed for component-query relationship and Viewer represents hierarchy diagram of a retrieved component. This system supports facilities which can insert and delete components on diagram. For a component modification, this system supports a editor to rebuild class inheritance relationship. In this paper, SCRS (software components reuse system) is consisted of syntax-analysis method, component-query relationship interface, retrieval (Enhanced SARM), diagram viewer, reuse on diagram, and a editor.

Automatic Extraction of Dependencies between Web Components and Database Resources in Java Web Applications

  • Web applications typically interact with databases. Therefore, it is very crucial to understand which web components access which database resources when maintaining web apps. Existing research identifies interactions between Java web components, such as JavaServer Pages and servlets but does not extract dependencies between the web components and database resources, such as tables and attributes. This paper proposes a dynamic analysis of Java web apps, which extracts such dependencies from a Java web app and represents them as a graph. The key responsibility of our analysis method is to identify when web components access database resources. To fulfill this responsibility, our method dynamically observes the database-related objects provided in the Java standard library using the proxy pattern, which can be applied to control access to a desired object. This study also experiments with open source web apps to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.

A Semantic Similarity Measure for Retrieving Software Components (소프트웨어 부품의 검색을 위한 의미 유사도 측정)

  • In this paper, we propose a semantic similarity measure for reusable software components, which aims to provide the automatic classification process of reusable to be stored in the structure of a software library, and to provide an efficient retrieval method of the software components satisfying the user's requirements. We have identified the facets to represent component characteristics by extracting information from the component descriptions written in a natural language, composed the software component identifiers from the automatically extracted terms corresponding to each facets, and stored them which the components in the nearest locations according to the semantic similarity of the classified components. In order to retrieve components satisfying user's requirements, we measured a semantic similarity between the queries and the stored components in the software library. As a result of using the semantic similarity to retrieve reusable components, we could not only retrieve the set of components satisfying user's queries. but also reduce the retrieval time of components of user's request. And we further improve the overall retrieval efficiency by assigning relevance ranking to the retrieved components according to the degree of query satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the components of SME's information infrastructure through literature review, empirically investigate the components, and develop a model for SME's information infrastructure. The fact that SME's are having difficulties in building their own information infrastructure due to the limitation of capital investment, technology, and manpower is the main motive for the study The survey questionnaires were distributed to CEO's and users of 3W SME's and intensive interviews were cornea out to CIO's and information services personnel to further investigate H/W and S/W components of Information Infrastructure. The study results show that there seems to be five main factors for SME's information infrastructure. They are: (1) Informatization Capacity, (2) Software and Network, (3) Management Recognition and Utilization, (4) Hardware, and (5) Alignment between Users and Information Services.

  • P300 component of the event-related brain potential (ERP) reflects fundamental cognitive processes. The P300 components have been employed in a wide variety of theoretical, empirical, and clinical applications. In oddball paradigm for eliciting P300, we need standard stimuli and target stimuli. Firstly, designated stimuli are presented to subjects. Nextly, a chosen target stimulus is presented. In this paper, we elicited the P300 components with experiment that the subjects select a chosen target stimulus. Therefore, we measured the P300 components to be related choice of the target stimuli. The experimental results and the P300 components to be analyzed were presented.

  • One of different methods to increase the productivity of software development team is to reuse the software components which were used once. Such a reusable software components are often organized software libraries. In order to reuse effectively the software modules selected from a library, the users need information enough to search for the modules easily. This paper designs and implements the tool which provides the information about the relationship between classes to reuse software components, and makes a new class by combining the data and functions from existing classes.

  • We proposed intriguing and simple technique for fabricating flexible plastic liquid crystal (LC) devices. We made a preliminary version of a flexible LC display employing this concept, and we confirmed this technique was useful for the flexible LC display; the electro-optical reproducibility of the flexible LC device fabricated here was remarkably improved against external perturbation compared with the conventional one.

  • Although several Hangul generation models using deep learning have been introduced, they require a lot of data, have a complex structure, requires considerable time and resources, and often fail in style conversion. This paper proposes a model CKFont using the components of the initial, middle, and final components of Hangul as a way to compensate for these problems. The CKFont model is an end-to-end Hangul generation model based on GAN, and it can generate all Hangul in various styles with 28 characters and components of first, middle, and final components of Hangul characters. By acquiring local style information from components, the information is more accurate than global information acquisition, and the result of style conversion improves as it can reduce information loss. This is a model that uses the minimum number of characters among known models, and it is an efficient model that reduces style conversion failures, has a concise structure, and saves time and resources. The concept using components can be used for various image transformations and compositing as well as transformations of other languages.

  • The aim of this study was to develop a policy information mentoring management model through which professional information, knowledge, and ideas can be shared and consulted. To this end, we analyzed domestic and international related literature, case studies of domestic and international mentoring programs, and expert advice from the policy consumers and current policy mentors in the field of policy information. In this research, components of a policy information mentoring management model have been proposed by separating them into human and content components. Mentor-mentee coordination, and supervisors are proposed as human components. Policy mentoring subject areas, programs, and detailed activities are proposed as content components.
