우리는 현 사회를 컨버전스 시대라 말하고 있다. 이러한 컨버전스 기술의 파급효과 및 컨버전스 사회의 현상들은 이미 경제, 사회, 문화등 사회의 전 부분에서 가시화되고 있다. 정부에서는 2011년에 기술 수요도가 높은 10개 ICT 산업군(IT-Car, IT-Ship, IT-Building, IT-Robots, IT-Textile, IT-Medicine, IT-Lighting, IT-Energy, IT-Defence)을 대상으로 한 "IT 융합 기술예측조사 2025"를 발표하였다. 본 연구에서는 우리의 일상적인 생활공간과 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 스마트시티에 대하여 외국의 사례들을 알아보고 우리 정보통신 기술의 진출 가능성 등을 기술하였다.

IT 와 농업 및 축산업의 융합은 생산, 유통, 소비 분야에서의 효율과 질적 향상을 기대하게 되었고 특히 IT 영역의 정보 분석 기술과 자동제어 기술은 농산물 생산에 많은 장점을 제공하게 되었다. 네트워크 기반에서의 농축산업 분야 ICT 확대는 기술적, 환경적인 측면에서의 어려움들을 해결하게 되었으며 ICT 융합을 주도하는 국내 및 국제 표준기구에서는 최근 스마트 농축산업 영역에서의 필수 기술 항목을 표준화하여 다양한 문제를 해결하려고 시도하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IT와 접목한 스마트 농축산업 환경에서의 ICT 표준화 중점 항목을 분석하고 로드맵을 제시한다.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Determinant factors in this transformation process are deregulations and technological advancements. From the value chain perspective, industry convergence plays the most crucial role in the transformation of the established telecommunications and media industries. The objective of this paper is to validate the impact of convergence on the business performance using empirical data. To identify the various effects driven by industry convergence, we analyzed the relationships between firm's degree of convergence and the business performance using regression analysis. From the empirical result with the 2002-2005 data, it was found that the convergence across ICT sectors improves the business performance measured by Tobin's q significantly and this is only a recent phenomenon. These results are consistent with the conjecture that higher degree of convergence is becoming more associated with higher market value.

The 4th industrial revolution technology has brought many changes not only in human life but also in the industrial field. ICT such as 5G and artificial intelligence and convergence/complex systems such as drones and robots are convenient for humans, and automation of all processes in the industrial field. However, these advanced information and communication technologies also have adverse functions. As advanced ICT was incorporated into military and terrorist weapon systems, more powerful and highly destructive weapon systems began to be developed. In particular, by applying advanced ICT to the production and use of terrorist tools, the terrorist method became more sophisticated and caused more damage. In this paper, we derive advanced ICT that can be abused according to the terror patterns in the 4th industrial revolution era, and present a method that is applied from preparation to execution of terrorism. The abuse of advanced ICT makes terrorism more stealthy and subtle, and increases its destructive power.

The era of information technologies has stimulated the demand of educational reform based on the use of information and communication technology (ICT). It requires explicit guidelines, vibrant objectives, mobilization of resources and political commitment at all levels of the country to achieve the desired results. However, change is not easy, it requires to overcome the impediments that hinder the successful integration of ICT in public schools. The pace of this reform is active in developed countries, while developing countries are lagging behind in achieving the required goals. The foremost purpose of this study is to highlight the barriers in the effective integration of ICT faced by developed countries in general and developing countries in particular. Reviewing the impediments to the integration of ICT in public schools may assist educators to become technology adopters in the future. Findings of the study reveal that intrinsic barriers are easy to surmount; once extrinsic barriers have been subdued successfully.

소셜미디어와 정보통신의 융합으로 다양한 스마트 정보통신 서비스들이 확산되고 있다. 스마트 정보통신에 대한 정책은 전 세계적인 경기침체와 실업, 그리고 경제 및 금융위기를 해결하는 전략적 대안으로 선진 주요 국가들이 활용하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 한국의 정보통신 정책은 정보통신부와 과학기술부의 폐지 등으로 다소 침체되어 있는 상황이다. 본 논문은 스마트미디어시대 정보통신에 대한 정책 철학으로 역동적 삶의 질을 제안하고 있는데, 이것은 삶의 질의 구성요소들이 스마트 정보통신의 정책 요소로 구현되기 때문이다. 특히 이러한 역동적 삶의 질은 그린 IT정책으로서 의미뿐만 아니라 스마트 정보통신을 기반으로 한 경기회복과 경제 성장 그리고 고용창출 전략으로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의미를 지니고 있다. 이러한 스마트 정보통신 정책은 국민적 동의와 사회적 합의를 이루기 위한 정책홍보 방법으로 제시된다.

본 논문에서는 진공자외선(VUV)의 파장대를 활용한 저온 플라즈마 램프방식의 살균 및 정화기능과 수직형 히팅시스템의 기능을 결합한 플라즈마 히터 제품 개발을 목표로 한다. 이를 통해 온실이나 시설하우스 내의 작물의 재배환경을 개선하고 무가온저장고나 저장창고 등의 저장된 작물의 신선도를 올려 저장성을 증대시키고자 한다. 추가적으로 ICT 기술을 활용하여 사용자가 실시간으로 온실하우스 내의 변화를 확인하고 대응할 수 있도록 할 실시간 모니터링 기술도 접목시키고자 한다.

최근의 인터넷 및 컴퓨터 기술의 발전은 초등학교의 정보통신 기술 교육을 변화시키고 있다. 기존의 컴퓨터 활용 중심의 정보통신기술 교육에서 컴퓨터 과학적 지식교육으로의 변화는 아동들의 논리적 사고 및 문제 해결력 증진 등의 고등 사고 능력의 함양에 도움을 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 새로운 정보통신기술 교육을 효율적으로 전달하는 교과서들에 대해 몇 가지 분석을 시행하였다. 그 주요 내용은 2007년 이후 새로운 정보통신기술교육 운영 지침에 따라 일선학교에서 사용하고 있는 6종의 정보통신기술 교과서의 체제분석, 분량 분석 그리고 Romey 분석이다. 특히 Romey 분석의 결과로서는 대부분의 교과서가 ICT 5개영역중 '정보사회의 이해', '정보처리의 의해', '종합활동' 등의 3개영역이 학생들의 탐구적인 활동 중심으로 구성되어 있음이 분석되었다.

정보통신기술(ICT: Information Communication Technology) 분야의 시장을 주도하는 모바일, 클라우드 컴퓨팅, 빅데이터 등과 같은 트렌드 기술들은 공간정보 분야를 포함한 대부분의 응용분야에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 이중에서 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 비록 우리나라에서는 초기 적용단계 수준이지만 다른 트렌드 기술들 간의 연계를 위한 플랫폼 역할을 담당한다. 특히 모바일과 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 결합된 형태인 모바일 클라우드는 모바일 단말 환경의 제한점들을 보완하고 기존의 모바일 앱에 비하여 더 많은 정보처리기능의 제공이 가능하다는 점에서 주목을 받고 있다. 이번 연구에서는 모바일 클라우드 환경을 OpenStack 및 다양한 오픈소스를 활용하여 구축하고, 이를 플랫폼으로 하여 공간영상정보 필터링 기능을 수행하는 시스템을 시험적으로 설계 및 구현하였다. 한편 공간영상정보 처리는 빅데이터 분석기술로 각광받고 있는 R 환경을 적용하여 필터링 처리를 수행하였다. 이러한 시도는 향후 R을 활용한 공간영상정보 분석서비스 개발과 다양한 공간정보와 연계되는 새로운 서비스 모델 개발에 적용될 것으로 기대한다.

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have always mattered in agriculture too. In day-to-day practices of agriculture and allied sectors, the farmers often share their information. Changing weather patterns, soil conditions, pests and diseases always throw challenges to small and marginal farmers. So, the farmer needs up-dated information to cope with and even benefit from these changes. In the developing countries like India, where agriculture still plays a crucial role (over 58% of the rural households depend on agriculture as their livelihood) and the rising population from 1027 million to 1419 million during 2001-16 (a total rise of 38 percent or 1.3 percent per year) pose a lot of pressure on land and other resources to meet the food security needs on one hand and to meet the challenges of globalization on the other. Understanding and addressing these challenges are very crucial, in which ICT can play a major role. With the booming mobile, wireless, and Internet industries, ICT has found a foothold even in poor marginal and smallholder farms and in their activities. The survey conducted among the 120 farmers in Srikakulam district in India revealed that, ICT has revolutionized the agriculture in the modern days. Production and marketing information is accessed by 91% of the sample farmers through mobile in 2015, where it was only 5% in 2005. The extent of use of mobile phones by the farmers varied with the decision to be taken by them like Harvesting, packing, and storing (94%), Selling Decision (91%), Seed purchase (89%), Application of fertilizers and pesticides (88%) and Land preparation and planting (84%), other package of practices (77%). The farmers further opined that, 'Voice' was the dominating source of communication (96%) compared to Short Message Service (SMS) (only 27%) and Internet access (10%), as majority are illiterate. The use of camera (71%), Bluetooth (33%), Radio (61%) TV (41%) are the other means of sharing the information. In this context of importance of ICTs in Indian agriculture, greater attention justifies about the applications of ICT's to alleviate poverty and promote economic growth of the farming population.
