At present, agriculture in Korea is experiencing difficulties, such as a stagnation in farm income, an increase in imported agricultural products, a decrease in arable land, a decrease in the self-sufficiency rate of grain, a decrease in rural population, and aging. To solve these problems and vitalize the rural economy, our government is promoting its 6th industrialization policy, which links agriculture with primary industry, secondary, industry and tertiary industry, and as well as smart agriculture based on information and communication technology. Smart agriculture is an agriculture form used to improve the quality of life in rural areas through making greater efficiency and intelligence by applying ICT convergence technology to the whole entire process of agricultural production, distribution, and consumption in the areas of outdoor agriculture, facility horticulture, and livestock. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the policy, technology, and standardization trends of domestic and foreign smart agriculture, and suggest ways to apply them to domestic smart agriculture during the in the introduction stage.

Inkjet printing is a typical printing technology with many advantages, such as material cost reduction, noncontact pattern formation without a mask, and process simplification. With the recent and rapid development of ink materials, parts and equipment, and process technologies related to inkjet printing, it is becoming a major process in various areas of the display industry. In particular, for the QD-OLED (quantum dot-organic light-emitting diode) display announced by Samsung Display in 2022, quantum dot pixel production by applying inkjet printing is a key technology. We analyze inkjet printing technology for mass production applied to the display industry and discuss the technology development trends in academia and industry toward the realization of next-generation displays.

Purpose: The cosmetics industry is dynamic and constantly evolving. The hair and beauty field is characterized by being very sensitive to social trends. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the intellectual structure of the social function of hair beauty and to analyze the research and industrial trends related to the beauty field. This study is a literature review and presents specific and practical development plans and growth strategies for the hair care market. Research design, data, and methodology: This review study was conducted by searching PubMed, Google Scholar, Riss, Scopus, and Research Gate. We prepared this by referring to keywords such as the beauty care industry, sustainable development, hair care, hair cosmetics, and hair care market. A total of 468 papers were searched, of which 60 were finally included in this study on the PRISMA flowchart. Results: For good consumption and continuous development of hair cosmetics, it will be necessary to clearly understand the beauty and cosmetic needs of various generations. Conclusions: As income level improvement and quality of life become more important, Korea's beauty industry is attracting a lot of attention as a growth industry that transcends gender and age amid social and cultural development, and its importance is expected to grow in the future.

This paper focuses on the domestic illumination research trends in 2012 based on reviewing the published papers in the Journal of the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers. It classifies and resumes the papers in five themes including exterior lighting, interior lighting, LED/OLED, optical device and optical fiber, and lighting industry. By comparatively studying a large number of papers published in Japan, North America, and China in the same year, the international illumination research trends are also figured out and further academic research topics are suggested.

Due to the unprecedented worldwide pandemic of the new Covid-19 infection, business trends of companies have changed significantly. Therefore, it is strongly required to monitor the rapid changes of innovation trends to design and plan future businesses. Since the pandemic, many studies have attempted to analyze business changes, but they are limited to specific industries and are insufficient in terms of data objectivity. In response, this study aims to analyze business trends after Covid-19 using Crunchbase, a global startup data. The data is collected and preprocessed every two years from 2018 to 2021 to compare the business trends. To capture the major trends, a network analysis is conducted for the industry groups and industry information based on the co-occurrence. To analyze the minor trends, LDA-based topic modelling and word2vec-based clustering is used. As a result, e-commerce, education, delivery, game and entertainment industries are promising based on their technological advances, showing extension and diversification of industry boundaries as well as digitalization and servitization of business contents. This study is expected to help venture capitalists and entrepreneurs to understand the rapid changes under the impact of Covid-19 and to make right decisions for the future.

The aqua-pet industry has been growing rapidly in the world's developed countries as well as Japan and Europe, but it was a small scale in compared with fisheries part, and political interest came mainly limited to food industry and research in Korea so that it has not been activated. Recently, a paradigm change for fisheries policy bring to have a interest in the aqua-pet industry as future growth power source. Therefore, this study shows that the advanced aqua-pet industry of Japan would be researched and analyzed in historical background, national interest and current aquarium market scale in order to predict the domestic aqua-pet industry rapidly developed in Korea.

The land transport industry is more important than the air transport or shipping industry. Land transport has the largest number of business and employees, and the fourth industrial revolution technology has recently infiltrated the most rapidly. In this paper, we examine the status, future prospects, and implications of the land transport industry in Korea for the past 7 years based on the statistical database and related literature. We survey the scope and characteristics of the freight truck or rail transport industry, government policies, and recent logistics industry trends. From the results of these current and forecast statistical surveys, we propose a way forward for the domestic transport business.

DB Integration website(tentatively named Food Processing Aptitude Information Center, FPAIC) has been designed through a "high-value products development project(2013)". Basically, the project aims to secure connections between food raw materials and processing industry, a variety of information sources, and users's convenience. It also aims to build the industry-university-based mutual growth in the food industry through sharing of processing suitability and material research on food raw materials. FPAIC consists of raw material story, information of sample characteristics, food processing study, preceding research data, food industry trends, and understanding of food processing. The major database of research on Food Processing is provided on information of sample characteristics, and food processing study. Currently the web site has 36 raw material stories, 380 information on sample characteristics and food processing studies, 1,600 preceding research data about 31 food raw materials. The web site also provides information on 70 useful web sites, as well as 77 food industry trends, 27 basic information about food processing.

Along with the rapid development of industrial technology, the industrial structure has been continuously changed. Accordingly, safety technologies have been gradually developed to be applied into various industrial fields as well, not limited to a specific industry area. As a result, it became important to analyze and predict trends of safety technology development in order to establish technology strategies for industrial safety. In particular, since patents are easily accessible to gather the technology and business information, many studies have highlighted technology forecasting using patent information. Thus, this study proposes the patent analysis of monitoring trends of safety technologies of industry fields, taking into account both static and dynamic aspects through index and text analysis. First, patent documents containing safety-related keywords are collected from the WIPSON database for extracting technology information. Then, the development trends of safety technologies by industry fields are identified and analyzed through the analysis of indicators such as marketability, growth, and activation. The results of various indicator analyses of safety technologies are visualized to compare among industrial safety technologies for businesses and technology developers. Second, textmining algorithm is applied to identify trends of specific technology keywords of major industries extracted from patent index analysis. As a result, it is expected that the safety manager uses the patent analysis of safety technologies to provide safety technology information with safety-related companies and institutes. The extracted safety technologies are applicable to business practice and predict future promising technologies.

The present status of the mold industry, including the size of the mold industry in Korea, its position in the global market, the production of the mold industry, import and export, and recent trends in the mold industry were examined. The survey was implemented for the trends fo dies and molds industry in 2017 by answers on business environment for Korean Mold Industry Cooperative Union members. The sharp decline in plastic mold exports in 2015 led to a decline in overall exports. China and Japan account for a very large share of mold exporting countries, but exports to emerging markets such as India, Mexico and Vietnam contributed to the overall increase in mold exports. China, Japan, India, the United States and Mexico were named as exporting countries with more than US $ 200 million, and Vietnam showed similar tendency as a major exporter. A survey conducted by the Korea Mold Industry Cooperative Association showed that the decrease in production and exports was predicted. In order to overcome the difficulties of the mold industry, the need for research on the linkage of the mold industry and technology to the wave of the fourth industrial revolution has increased.
