This study evaluates how activation plans presented by previous research are perceived by employees in the ship supply industry by sample surveys. Another objective of this study is to also assist in the selection of effective activation plans. It is becoming more and more difficult for the Port of Busan to strengthen its competitiveness in the ship supply industry by maintaining the status quo. Much research extending the scope of research subjects in the port logistics industry indicates that the development of the port logistics industry is very important for creating new value for the Port of Busan. The results shows that improvement in the retail structure and government support had a significantly positive correlation between the importance and necessity of the ship supply industry activation.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the activation methods of GIS industries through GIS industry current issue analysis in Korea to provide as following. First of an in order to analyse current GIS industries, there are three divisions as follows: existing GIS industry, new technology GIS industry, and commercial GIS industry. The existing GIS industry includes survey industry, municipality UIS and remote sensing. The new technology GIS industry has telematics industry, LiDAR industry, ubiquitous industry, LBS industry, internet, and u-city industry. The commercial GIS industry consists of civilian request GIS industry and spacial data distribution industry. The national geographic information industry contains problems and directions of the 1st, 2nd NGIS and 3rd NGIS plan direction policy. These classified GIS industries present various problems of policies and invaluable results for the future GIS industry activation directions as follows: Presence of the GIS contents technologies win be the most important core for the GIS industry activation related to IT839 policy of the government in Korea.

The aims of this study recognize the limitations of the domestic chocolate market compared to domestic and foreign chocolate market and investigate the strategies for activation of the domestic chocolate culture and development of new chocolate market throughout pointing out the various problems. We analyzed the trends for the food market and confectionery market, main market for chocolate, and also compared domestic and foreign cases for market of chocolate as food or non-food. We sought for solutions and implications for diversification of domestic chocolate market through prospects for the future. Domestic chocolate market is not enough to be competitive compared with overseas market, yet. However, we speculated that domestic chocolate market would gradually develop through fusion with herbal bio-industry as rapid economic development. Besides, we demonstrated a few ways which derive larger development through combination of chocolate market and herbal bio-industry. For these sakes, we suggest that at first, if paradigm which is considered oriental medicinal characters and back innovative and differentiated ideas should be present, the activation of markets of chocolate and herbal bio-industry as well as the diversities of market may be obtained.

One of barely water soluble ketones, acetophenone (AP) was dissolved in methanol and then was mixed with aqueous solution of C. I. Red Acid 114. In order to find out the role of AP in the dyeing process the rate constants and the activation parameters were calculated. The rate for the dyeing with AP was faster than that without it. Because of the reduced temperature dependence by AP the activation energy ($E_a$) for the dyeing with AP was smaller than that without it. With increasing temperature the activation enthalpy (${\Delta}H^*$), the activation entropy (${\Delta}S^*$), and the activation free energy ($G^*$) decreased, which was more noticeable in dyeing with AP. The rate constants and the activation parameters agreed well with the results from the previous reports that the ability of AP to increase disaggregation of dye molecules, loosening the wool fiber, and wickabilty of dyeing solution made it possible to dye wool fiber at low temperature.

To produce activated carbon fibers, the process is carried out through either physical activation method or chemical activation method. In this study, we present the results regarding the characteristics of activated carbon fibers manufactured under various conditions through the quantitative control of steam. The yield after activation indicates a decreasing trend with the increase in steam quantity and activation time. Additionally, specific surface area characteristics exhibit variations based on activation time and steam flow rate. The SEM analysis results reveal that higher steam flow rates lead to the presence of both mesopores and macropores on the surface of activated carbon fibers (ACF).

The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive and objective evaluation on the effectiveness of the activation policies for the Seongsu handmade shoe industry and to suggest the direction of more effective future policies using the results. The list of the activation policies for the Seongsu handmade shoe industry was investigated and awareness, appropriateness, effectiveness, and satisfaction were measured from the representatives of the Seongsu handmade shoe companies via an off-line survey. A total of 61 usable data sets were statistically analyzed. Based on the evaluation result of the policies, a focus group interview with 6 representatives of the Seoungsu handmade shoe industry was conducted to investigate the causes and effectiveness of the policies and the problems pertaining to those policies. The awareness, effectiveness, and satisfaction of the policies were evaluated as negatives, while the appropriateness of the policies was evaluated as a positive. The manufacturers of the handmade shoes evaluated policies that improve the environment of the workplace higher and evaluated the handmade shoes education policy lower than the distributors and raw materials suppliers. The problems with the activation policies for the Seongsu handmade shoes industry were found to be structural problems, issues with the implementation of the policies, and that the fact that the policies did not reflect the reality of the industry.

To increase paper strength, refining and wet pressing are performed. Many researches were carried out to identify the origin of paper strength. Since fracture toughness was governed by stress concentration, fracture toughness reflects microscopic paper strength. The aim of this paper is to analyze how paper strength was affected by changes of refining and wet-pressing. Fiber properties and structural, tensile and fracture properties of hand­sheets were evaluated. Especially, fracture toughness was evaluated by J-integral. As the refining proceeds, stock properties maybe divided into two stages such as fibers activation and fines activation according to freeness. In fibers activation stages, about 750-450 mL CSF, the fracture toughness increased with refining and wet pressing but in fines activation stages, about 450-250 mL CSF, the fracture toughness increased only with wet pressing. It is clear that fracture toughness was affected not only by fibers properties but also by fines properties in fines activation stages.

Many researchers have discussed on a policy establishment to revitalize a regional industry of a domestic ecosystem. However, it is rare to consider activation measures and priorities that are appropriate for local characteristics. Therefore, this study conducted a qualitative study to gather and analyze the views of expert groups in order to derive measures to revitalize the automobile industry in Gwangju. We examined the current status of the automobile industry in Gwangju based on a literature survey and in-depth interviews and what kind of crisis there is. We then derive strategic candidates for activation measures to address this. In addition, the relative importance and priorities of the methods derived using AHP techniques were identified. This leads to five strategies on which methods should be applied first. This will be used as the basis for future strategy development.

Purpose In this study, the difficulties were analyzed with the field data from two domestic and interview with industry practitioners. And We presented initiatives with feasibilities to overcome the hurdle for progress of easy-payment. Design/methodology/approach We collected industry data from two domestic credit card companies and analyzed that data to prove 7 proposition in detail. Also We had interview data from industry practitioners who can understand the relationship between stakeholders. For this analysis, we used the causal loop diagram to find activation inhibition and activation elements about easy-payment. Findings The Fintech easy-payment industry has been organically involved in various partners such as customers, merchants, PGs, VANs, credit card issuers, banks, payment providers, terminal manufacturers, etc. and they have been competing against each other to hold leader position in the easy-payment market. Because of the reasons, the easy-payment does not spread out as much as it expects. In this study, the difficulties were analyzed with the field data and interview with industry practitioners and proposed five initiatives with feasibilities to overcome the hurdle for progress of easy-payment. This study helps to understand current situation and issues of Fintech and easy-payment for related research in future.

This study aims to contribute regional economic development by means of searching port logistics industry activation scheme of Gangwon province which has locational advantage around the East Sea Region. Thus, this thesis was provided the port logistics industry activation schemes of that region in the point of local and government view. In the local government level, this study was provided the selection of a key port and its intensive development, establishment of port networking among major port and e-port system of this region, and enlargement of the FTA etc. Also this study was required the relative industry invitation and upbringing, and intensive port logistics marketing activity. On the other hand, in the government level, it needs larger SOC investment for enlargement of direct accessibility and connection to the Gangwon-do ports, and required the intensive and efficient support. Finally, it was proposed the establishment of the total logistics expert education system.
