Fostering Attitudes and Customer Satisfaction for Sustainability by Electric Car-Sharing

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore factors that affect electric car-sharing by highlighting issues of environmental sustainability and customer attitude and satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: This study examined customers' perception on those issues by using electric car-sharing as usages of both electric car and car-sharing play a key role to improve sustainability. Online survey was applied to collect the data. This study also applied factor and regression analyses for data analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that effects of proposed factors including cost efficiency, emotion, safety, health, and sustainability on attitude toward electric car-sharing on attitude were significant. The results also showed that the effects on intention, satisfaction, and loyalty were significant. Conclusions: This study provides policy and managerial implications. By dealing with factors of electric car-sharing service, this study offers necessity of better strategies and policies for electric car-sharing service to electric car businesses and policy makers. This study also suggests that businesses should develop appropriate strategies for the improved usage of electric car-sharing by considering sustainability and improving relationships with customers. Further, government should consider to develop proper policies for sustainability by promoting the usages of electric car-sharing.

  • 국내의 공동주택은 1980년대 후반에 시행된 주택공급정책으로 급속히 증가하였으나, 물량적 보급에만 치중하고 품질관리측면에서는 상대적으로 소홀히 하여 다양하고 많은 하자가 발생하게 되었다. 그리고 다양하고 많은 하자 발생에 따른 분쟁이 점점 부각되고 있으며, 다양한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 공동주택 하자 관련 연구들이 지속적으로 수행되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용하여 오랜 기간 축적된 공동주택 하자 관련 연구 분야의 주요 키워드 및 트렌드를 분석하여 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 분석 방법으로는 한국교육학술정보원 포털을 활용하여 학술지 논문을 수집하고, 수집된 학술논문의 필터링 및 키워드 정제과정을 거쳐 분석자료를 구축하였다. 그리고 키워드 네트워크 관계에 대한 시각화 모델링, 연결정도 중심성 분석, 매개 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 연결정도 및 매개 중심성 분석 결과, 담보, 논쟁, 수리, 사례, 책임, 결로, 비용, 제도, 기준, 감정이 공동주택 하자 분야에 특징적으로 나타나는 주요 키워드로 분석되었다.

공동주택 하자분류체계 기반 하자위험 평가 (Assessment of Defect Risks in Apartment Projects based on the Defect Classification Framework)

  • 공동주택 하자는 유지보수에 막대한 비용이 들어가게 되며, 발주자, 시공자 그리고 입주자 등에게 심각한 피해를 입힌다. 이에 따라 하자분쟁을 최소화하고 철저한 품질관리를 통한 체계적이고 효율적인 하자관리를 위한 토대를 마련할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 하자분쟁사례를 활용하여 공동주택의 공종/부위/현상에 따른 하자분류체계를 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 하자유형별 하자위험을 평가할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 경과년수 10년 이상 공동주택 하자분쟁사례 34건, 약 6000여개의 하자항목 자료를 토대로 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 정리하면, 하자분류체계는 하자 공종, 하자부위 및 하자현상으로 크게 분류한 후 세부적으로 총 157개 항목으로 세분화하였다. 하자분류체계를 토대로 하자 빈도, 하자비용 및 하자위험을 분석한 결과, RC공사 및 마감공사에 하자위험이 상당히 집중되어 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 따라 이러한 하자위험에 대한 하자예방 활동이 우선적으로 고려되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구를 토대로 하자위험을 관리할 수 있는 방안에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

기계적 모터 고장진단을 위한 머신러닝 기법 (A Machine Learning Approach for Mechanical Motor Fault Diagnosis)

  • In order to reduce damages to major railroad components, which have the potential to cause interruptions to railroad services and safety accidents and to generate unnecessary maintenance costs, the development of rolling stock maintenance technology is switching from preventive maintenance based on the inspection period to predictive maintenance technology, led by advanced countries. Furthermore, to enhance trust in accordance with the speedup of system and reduce maintenances cost simultaneously, the demand for fault diagnosis and prognostic health management technology is increasing. The objective of this paper is to propose a highly reliable learning model using various machine learning algorithms that can be applied to critical rolling stock components. This paper presents a model for railway rolling stock component fault diagnosis and conducts a mechanical failure diagnosis of motor components by applying the machine learning technique in order to ensure efficient maintenance support along with a data preprocessing plan for component fault diagnosis. This paper first defines a failure diagnosis model for rolling stock components. Function-based algorithms ANFIS and SMO were used as machine learning techniques for generating the failure diagnosis model. Two tree-based algorithms, RadomForest and CART, were also employed. In order to evaluate the performance of the algorithms to be used for diagnosing failures in motors as a critical railroad component, an experiment was carried out on 2 data sets with different classes (includes 6 classes and 3 class levels). According to the results of the experiment, the random forest algorithm, a tree-based machine learning technique, showed the best performance.

토양 및 지하수 Investigation 과 Remediation에 대한 현장적용

  • Situated close to Heathrow Airport, and adjacent to the M4 and M25 Motorways, the site at Axis Park is considered a prime location for business in the UK. In consequnce two of the UK's major property development companies, MEPC and Redrew Homes sought the expertise of Intergeo to remediate the contaminated former industrial site prior to its development. Industrial use of the twenty-six hectare site, started in 1936, when Hawker Aircraft commence aircraft manufacture. In 1963 the Firestone Tyre and Rubber Company purchased part of the site. Ford commenced vehicle production at the site in the mid-1970's and production was continued by Iveco Ford from 1986 to the plant's decommissioning in 1997. Geologically the site is underlain by sand and gravel, deposited in prehistory by the River Thames, with London Clay at around 6m depth. The level of groundwater fluctuates seasonally at around 2.5m depth, moving slowly southwest towards local streams and watercourses. A phased investigation of the site was undertaken, which culminated in the extensive site investigation undertaken by Intergeo in 1998. In total 50 boreholes, 90 probeholes and 60 trial pits were used to investigate the site and around 4000 solid and 1300 liquid samples were tested in the laboratory for chemical substances. The investigations identified total petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil up to 25, 000mg/kg. Diesel oil, with some lubricating oil were the main components. Volatile organic compounds were identified in the groundwater in excess of 10mg/l. Specific substances included trichloromethane, trichloromethane and tetrachloroethene. Both the oil and volatile compounds were widely spread across the site, The specific substances identified could be traced back to industrial processes used at one or other dates in the sites history Slightly elevated levels of toxic metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were also identified locally. Prior to remediation of the site and throughout its progress, extensive liaison with the regulatory authorities and the client's professional representatives was required. In addition to meetings, numerous technical documents detailing methods and health and safety issues were required in order to comply with UK environmental and safety legislation. After initially considering a range of options to undertake remediation, the following three main techniques were selected: ex-situ bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soils, skimming of free floating hydrocarbon product from the water surface at wells and excavations and air stripping of volatile organic compounds from groundwater recovered from wells. The achievements were as follows: 1) 350, 000m3 of soil was excavated and 112, 000m3 of sand and gravel was processed to remove gravel and cobble sized particles; 2) 53, 000m3 of hydrocarbon contaminated soil was bioremediated in windrows ; 3) 7000m3 of groundwater was processed by skimming to remove free floating Product; 4) 196, 000m3 of groundwater was Processed by air stripping to remove volatile organic compounds. Only 1000m3 of soil left the site for disposal in licensed waste facilities Given the costs of disposal in the UK, the selected methods represented a considerable cost saving to the Clients. All other soil was engineered back into the ground to a precise geotechnical specification. The following objective levels were achieved across the site 1) By a Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) methodology it was demonstrated that soil with less that 1000mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons did not pose a hazard to health or water resources and therefore, could remain insitu; 2) Soils destined for the residential areas of the site were remediated to 250mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons; in the industrial areas 500mg/kg was proven acceptable. 3) Hydrocarbons in groundwater were remediated to below the Dutch Intervegtion Level of 0.6mg/1; 4) Volatile organic compounds/BTEX group substances were reduced to below the Dutch Intervention Levels; 5) Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and metals were below Inter-departmental Committee for the Redevelopment of Contaminated Land guideline levels for intended enduse. In order to verify the qualify of the work 1500 chemical test results were submitted for the purpose of validation. Quality assurance checks were undertaken by independent consultants and at an independent laboratory selected by Intergeo. Long term monitoring of water quality was undertaken for a period of one year after remediation work had been completed. Both the regulatory authorities and Clients representatives endorsed the quality of remediation now completed at the site. Subsequent to completion of the remediation work Redrew Homes constructed a prestige housing development. The properties at "Belvedere Place" retailed at premium prices. On the MEPC site the Post Office, amongst others, has located a major sorting office for the London area. 분광된 빛의 주사가 원유내 성분에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Light Transmission on Composition and Somatic Cell count of Raw Milk)

  • 농산물의 안전성 확보와 품질평가를 위해서 신속하고 경제적인 비파괴 검사법에 대한 연구 및 기술개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 분광된 빛을 이용하여 내부 품질평가 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 분석 대상체의 성분 변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 분광분석을 이용하여 원유의 성분분석 과정에서 분광된 빛이 원유의 성분 및 체세포에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 수행 되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 원유는 일본 시가현 소재 낙농가에서 채취된 것으로 유지방, 유단백질, 유당, 무지고형분, 총고형분, 유요소, 구연산 및 체세포수를 화학적 방법에 의해 측정하였다. 또한 인위적으로 분광된 빛은 5가지 영역대로 구분하여 원유에 각각 1분, 5분, 10분간 주사하였다. 연구결과, 400 nm이하 파장대인 자외선 영역에서 유지방이 2.6% 증가되는 경향이 있었고, 체세포수도 9.0% 증가된 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 다른 원유 성분에는 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 자외선 영역의 빛을 원유 품질 평가에 적용하기 위해서는 보다 다양한 원유 시료에 대한 추가 검증이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • 카드늄에 의해 오염된 토양을 접하는 것은 급격한 산업발달에 의해 아시아에서는 흔한 일이다. 그래서 시민과 관련 당국은 식량작물 소비에 따른 카드늄노출의 위험성에대한 관심을 가지고 있다. 본 개관에서는 전세계 카드늄 소화기관내 흡입과 식품에 근거한 식물에 포함된 카드늄농도에 대한 최근 자료가 모두 제시 되었다. 일반적으로 일용필수품에 근거한 주요 식물에 존재하는 카드늄의 농도는 생체중으로 비교 시 kg 당 0.05mg를 거의 초과하지 않으며 곡류, 두류, 채소, 구근류, 과채류 순으로 감소하였다.
