부산광역시 일부하천의 수질특성 (Water Quality Characteristics of Busan Metropolitan Streams)

  • This study is carried out to investigate the water quality changes in Busan Metropolitan streams, The results are as follows. The level of organic contaminants($BOD_{5}$ and $COD_{Mn}$) is found to be low and does not show seasonal variation in domestic waste water streams. But, the level of organic contaminants in industrial waste water streams is relatively high and seems to be seasonally variable, which is affected by other factors. The nutrient materials, such as nitrogen(as T-N, about 20mg/L) and phosphorus(as T-P about 2.0mg/L), are abundant than Nak Dong River and the general trends of contaminants level are similar to those of organic contaminants. The chronic water qualities, including organic, nutrient contaminants levels, show that the loading rates in 1998 are smaller than the past(1983, 1992). And this trend is more evident in industrial waste water streams than domestic waste water streams.

  • Nowadays, membrane separation such as reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) play an important role in the industrial separation technology. Among desalination technologies available today, reverse osmosis is usually the most economical process for wide range of water salinity. Main applications include production of high purity water, desalination of seawater and brackish water for a drinking water supply, treatment of waste water for environmental protection, and recovery of precious materials from industrial waste water. In this paper, we will mention membrane performance and these practical use focused on reverse osmosis membranes and ultrafiltration membranes recently developed by Toray.

  • As environmental regulations become more stringent, water, used either as drinking water or as industrial process water, becomes increasingly better in its quality. As a result, an increasingly more advanced water treatment technology is required. It is believed that membrane technology will be able to satisfy such a requirement. The heart of the membrane technology is membrane. The advancement in water treatment technology using membranes, therefore, depends on the development of novel membranes which are superior in performance to the currently available membranes. In this paper, a brief review will be made how the recent progress in surface science, such as surface modification and surface characterization, has aided to improve the performance of the membranes used for water treatment. Some suggestions will also be made regarding the future direction of the research in this area.

Water Uptake and Tensile Properties of Plasma Treated Abaca Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composite

  • This work presents the tensile properties and water uptake behavior of plasma treated abaca fibers reinforced epoxy composites. The composites were prepared by vacuum assisted resin transfer molding. The effects of treatment on tensile properties and sorption characteristics of abaca fiber composites in distilled water and salt solution at room temperature were investigated. The tensile strength of the composites increased with plasma treatment. With plasma treatment, an improvement of 92.9% was obtained in 2.5 min exposure time in plasma. This is attributed to high fiber-matrix compatibility. Less improvement on tensile properties of hybrid treatment of sodium hydroxide and plasma was obtained. However, both treatments reduced overall water uptake in distilled water and salt solution. Hydrophilicity of the fibers decreased upon plasma and sodium hydroxide treatment, which decreases water uptake.

열교환방식에 따른 지열히트펌프의 난방특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Heating Characteristics of Ground Source Heat Pump with Variation of Heat Exchange Methods)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the influence on the heating performance for a water-to-water 10RT ground source heat pump by using the water switching and refrigerant switching method. The test of water-to-water ground source heat pump was measured by varying the compressor speed, load side inlet temperature, and ground heat source side temperature. The heating capacity and COP of the heat pump increased with increasing ground heat source temperature. As a result, compared to a refrigerant switching method, the water switching method with counter flow improves the heating capacity and COP by approximately 5% in average, respectively.

  • As the need for predicting the flood stage of river from torrential downpouring caused by climate change is increasingly emphasized, the study, centered on the area of Gangwon-do Inje-gun and Jeongseon-gun of local river, is to develop peak water level regression equation by rainfall. Through the correlation between rainfall and peak water level, it is confirmed that rainfall according to duration and peak water level have a high correlation coefficient. Based on this, a relational expression of rainfall and peak water level is verified and then the adequacy of the calculated expression is analyzed and the result shows that a very accurate prediction is not easy to achieve but a rough prediction of the change of water level at each point is possible.

FEMWASP 모형을 이용한 영월 다목적댐의 장래 수질 예측 (Prediction of Water Quality of Youngwol Multipurpose Dam Using FEMWASP)

  • The future water quality of Youngwol Dam was predicted using FEMWASP. In the this study, point and non-point source in the basin was investigated in detail, and future pollutant loading was computed by various prediction technique. The water quality of 29 sites was analyzed over four seasons. FEMWASP was used to predict future water quality of Youngwol lake and downstream of proposed dam. Future water quality of Youngwol lake was predicted to configure eutrophication status, management criteria was suggested to minimize the pollution problems coming from future eutrophication. Discharge rate of dam was decided as 30CMS to conserve the water quality, and overall design of dam was changed.

  • Recently, there are a lot of studies to use a satellite image data in order to investigate a simultaneous change of a wide range area as a lake. However, many cases of a water quality research occur as problem when we try to extract the water quality factors from the satellite image data, because of the atmosphere scattering exert as bad influence on a result of analysis. In this study, and attempt was made to select the relative atmospheric correction method for the water quality factors extraction from the satellite image data. And also, the time-series analysis of the water quality factors extraction from the satellite image data. And also, the time-series analysis of the water quality factors was performed by using the multi-temporal image data.

  • 본 논문은 온실하우스 시설내의 지하수 오염방지를 위한 유비쿼터스를 이용한 펌핑 시스템의 원격제어기 개발에 있다. 본 연구에서는 수막재배에서 펌프 살수에 대한 온도와 습도를 자동으로 제어한다. 이는 지하수의 무분별한 개발을 방지하고, 또한, 물 부족인 폐공의 경우 보완조치를 못하여 환경오염의 피해가 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있다. 연구 결과, 최적의 농작물 관리와 펌프 제어를 통해 무분별한 지하수 사용과 고갈을 막고 전기료 절감 등의 장점을 확인하였다.

  • 전해살균수는 수도물에 식염이나 염산 등의 전해보조제를 첨가시킨 수용액을 전기분해하여 유용한 기능을 갖게 한 수용액이다. 전해살균수는 살균을 목적으로 한 식품위생관리에 사용되는 것으로, 강산성전해수, 미산성전해수 및 차아염소산나트륨수로 나눌 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 살균효과를 지닌 전해살균수의 제조원리, 장단점 분석과 함께 연도별, 국가별, 출원인별, 기술종류별로 기술동향 특허분석을 하였다.
