In this study, the effect of a telecommunication company's safety management system on workers' safety awareness and safety behavior was empirically verified. The main findings are as follows: First, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and level of industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on workers' safety awareness. Second, workers' safety awareness was observed to exert a significant positive effect on their safety behavior. Third, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on the safety behavior of workers. Fourth, although the telecommunications safety management system factors, such as management supervisors' capability and industrial accident investigations, were found to have a positive effect on workers' safety awareness, they had no mediated effect on workers' safety behavior through safety awareness.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze factors affecting the net income of regional and industrial fisheries cooperatives in South Korea using panel data. This paper utilizes linear or GLS regression models such as pooled OLS model, fixed effects model, and random effects model to estimate affecting factors of the net income of regional and industrial fisheries cooperatives. After reviewing various tests, we eventually select random effects model. The results, based on panel data between 2013 and 2018 year and 64 fisheries cooperatives, indicate that capital and area dummy variables have positive effects and employment has negative effect on the net income of regional and industrial fisheries cooperatives as predicted. However, debt are opposite with our predictions. Specifically, it turns out that debt has positive effect on the net income of regional and industrial fisheries cooperatives although it has been increased. Additionally, this paper shows that the member of confreres does not show any significant effect on the net income of regional and industrial fisheries cooperatives in South Korea. This study is significant in that it analyzes the major factors influencing changes in the net income that have not been conducted recently for the fisheries cooperatives by region and industry.

The effect of different cooling rate on the structure and mechanical properties of Fe-3%Mn-(Cr)-(Mo)-0.3%C steels is described. Pre-alloyed Astaloy CrM and CrL, ferromanganese and graphite were used as the starting powders. Following pressing in a rigid die, compacts were sintered at $1120^{\circ}C$ and $1250^{\circ}C$ in $H_2/N_2$ atmospheres and cooled with cooling rates $1.4^{\circ}C/min$ and $6.5^{\circ}C/min$. Convective cooled specimens were subsequently tempered at $200^{\circ}C$ for 60 and 240 minutes.

According to the result of this study, democracy, efficiency and consistency of governmental organizations gave the positive effect to public trust and private trust directly. But only democracy and efficiency affected to organizational commitment. As the analysis result of mediating effect, democracy and efficiency enhanced the total effect due to the mediating effect of public trust.

This study examines the relationship between R&D investment and subsequent outputs of the research activity. Usually, there is some time difference between the production of research outputs, such as academic papers and application or registration of patents, and the investment of R&D expenditure. The time lag for producing this kind of research outputs should be considered to evaluate the performance of research activity exactly. The purpose of this study is to identify time lag effect between the times of input and output of a R&D activity and to derive the degree of time lag using the data set of a long term R&D program supported by Korean government. A modified Almon model is suggested to identify the time lag effect between input and output of research activities performed by this program. Time-series cross-section data from 16 research centers between 2001 and 2009 are used to find time lag effect.

While performing numerical simulations, it is general industrial practice to neglect the clearance gap between the impeller and the inlet duct. In the present work, the effect of clearance gap on the performance of an industrial sized centrifugal blower is simulated for two volutes of width ratios and various flow coefficients. The results show that the clearance has a positive effect at low mass flow rates. This is observed in the pressure rise (1.3%) as well as in efficiency (0.7%). At higher mass flow rates, it has a negative effect with a drop in efficiency of 1% and pressure drop of about 1.4%. The effect of clearance gap on volute with higher width ratio is smaller when compared with the volute with smaller width ratio.

The benefits of information technology cannot be obtained unless potential users utilize it for their work. This led to a lot of research works on computer system acceptance. But most of the works address the early stage of system introduction, leaving the learning effect on system acceptance unexplored. In this longitudinal study, two groups of novice and experienced users have been empirically investigated and compared for their acceptance of computer system and for the learning effect of actual usage. A research model based on the technology acceptance theory has been proposed and applied to the two groups. The result shows that the factor job relevance gets more important and the effect of user training on system acceptance diminishes as time passes. This finding may help introducing computer systems which can be easily accepted by users over the whole life cycle period of computer systems.

본 연구에서는 흑액 증발공정에 소비되는 스팀의 절감량을 예측하기 위해 증발기 수에 따른 다중 효용 증발공정 모델을 개발하였다. 개발한 공정 모델은 흑액의 예열 및 증발 과정으로 구성되어 있고, 스팀 사용량을 예측하기 위해 가상의 재비기가 추가되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 2중 효용 증발기에서 스팀 사용량은 48.9% 감소하였고, 증발기 수가 증가함에 따라 스팀 사용량이 감소하여 8중 효용 증발기에서 최대 76.5% 감소함을 확인하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 증발기 수에 따른 포화증기의 잠열 회수량, 스팀 사용량, 각 증발기의 포화증기 생산량으로 분석하여 최적의 증발기 수 도출을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

ISO 9000 is an efficient quality system for the customer's confidence and satisfaction. Of late years, the revised edition of ISO 9000 quality management system may give lots of positive business values to companies running ISO 9000 system. Despite its tremendous popularity, there is some criticism against the effect and performance of ISO 9000 certification. This research explores the performances and effects of ISO 9000 quality system in small & medium size industrial companies. For this research, 202 companies certified by ISO 9000 standard and 67 companies not certified as contrast group were selected. The related data were collected by web-poll survey. The major analyses are focused on the effect and performance of the ISO 9000 certification, and we established various hypotheses to verify the effect and performance of quality system. Results of statistical analyses show that total performance of quality system is significantly different between certified companies and not certified.
