Objectives: Humans experience the process of separating-individuating themselves from an object via the conflict between dependence and independence within the self. The separation-individuation theory focuses on the psychological process of individualizing oneself. Although adolescents' individuation from their parents is based on intrapsychic events, there is an increasing need for an intersubjective understanding of it. We applied intersubjectivity to adolescents and parents to interpret and find solutions for problems arising during their individuation process. Methods: This study retrospectively reviewed a case of a son and his father treated by the author. From the study subject, contents that represent adolescents and parents' interaction and separation in the individualization process were extracted and analyzed, and their experiences shared in this process were reconstructed from the therapist's perspective. Results: From the case involving an adolescent boy with conduct problems and his interactions with his father, the authors observed the phenomenon of intersubjectivity and proposed the concept of "synchronized individuation" between adolescents and parents. As adolescents rapidly grow and change, they experience various dynamic interactions with their parents. Through learning to tolerate the conflicts and ambivalent tension inherent in this individuation process, adolescents and their parents develop their new identity. Conclusion: "Synchronized individuation" should be understood as complementary to, rather than exclusive from, the existing concept of the separation and individuation. It offers a new paradigm with which to understand adolescent-parent conflicts in the process of separation-individuation.

Objectives: Among adolescent development tasks, being independent of parents is an essential process for emotional and physical separation. There are many conflicts of separation and individuation between parents and adolescents; however, most clinicians explore the process of separation and individuation only from adolescents' perspective. Whether simultaneously or sequentially, separation-individuation occurs between adolescents and parents, respectively. The authors have already introduced the theory of synchronized individuation in a clinical case to explain the concept of this intersubjective phenomena. This study also attempts to prove the synchronized individuation theory through the interaction of characters in a movie and a fairy tale. Methods: The authors present the basis for the theory of synchronized individuation of adolescence through the growing process of Mason Junior, the main character of the movie "Boyhood," and from the process of the separation of a hen, Sprout, and an orphaned duckling in "The hen who dreamed she could fly." Results: Synchronized individuation was developed and observed from Mason, the son's perspective in "Boyhood," and Sprout, the mother's subjective perspective in the story of the hen. Conclusion: Increasing conflict and mutual impact in the relationship between adolescents and parents, ambivalent feelings for separation, selective identification of each other, mutual respect through mutual recognition, and role changes in relationship position were confirmed. Sons and mothers were individualized with synchronization.

이 연구는 웹툰 <화산귀환>을 통해 제시되는 주인공 '청명'의 의식과 무의식, 개성화 과정을 융의 개성화 과정 이론에 접목하여 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 성공한 웹소설을 기반으로 다양한 성별과 연령대의 독자층을 형성하고 있는 웹툰 <화산귀환>을 선정하였다. 융의 개성화 과정 이론에 접목하여 분석한 <화산귀환> 주인공의 개성화 과정은 첫째, 주인공의 자아는 무의식에서 파생된 그림자로부터 발생하였다. 둘째, 주인공의 페르소나는 현실에서는 사회적이며 긍정적이지만, 개인적인 페르소나는 드러낼 수 없는 그림자로 나타났다. 셋째, 주인공의 아니마/무스는 깊은 의식 내면과 현실을 연결하며, 페르소나와 보완적 관계에 있다. 넷째, 주인공의 자기(Self)는 총체적인 이상적인 인간과 화산의 근본을 상징한다. 주인공은 끊임없이 반복적으로 의식과 무의식의 통합과정을 거치면서 보상받는 과정에서 자기실현이 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다.

저자는 융의 개념을 중심으로 면밀하게 전이에 대한 분석심리학적 고찰을 한 후, 융이 '전이의 심리학'에서 앞부분을 인용한 연금술서인 '현자의 장미원' 전체에 대한 해석이 필요하다는 것을 제시하였었다. '현자의 장미원' 20개 목판화의 상징적 의미는 흑화, 백화, 황화, 적화 등의 연금술적 단계로 해석될 수 있었다. 이러한 단계적 변환의 과정은 개성화 과정으로 연결되며 정신치료의 과정과도 연관하여 볼 수 있었으며, 전이의 의미는 개성화 과정의 입문과정으로 설명될 수 있었다. 이러한 정신적 변환과 인간의 발달에 대하여 동양의 전통적 사상과도 비교하여 제시하여 보았다. 개성화 과정은 치료적 관계를 비롯한 인간관계의 발달과도 같이 발전해 나아가는 것으로 볼 수 있는데, 동양에서의 인간(人間)이라는 관념은 매우 함축적 의미가 있는 것으로 향후 이에 대한 깊은 연구가 필요하다.

융의 발달이론에 따르면, 인생은 만 35에서 40세를 전후로 페르소나가 형성되어가는 전반기와 참자기를 찾아 나서게 되는 후반기의 두 단계로 나누어진다. 이러한 관점에서, 나는 발달적으로 개성화에 대한 고민을 하지 않을 수 없는 역치점에 서 있으며, 음악-중심 음악치료사라는 페르소나를 가지고 있는 한 인간으로서 나의 개성화 과정은 음악적 참자기와 음악 안에서의 자기실현을 찾아나서는 과정에서부터 시작되어야 한다고 생각하였다. 나는 이러한 과정을 음악적 개성화(musical individuation)라 명명하고자 하며, 음악적 성장과 변화가 곧 음악 외적 성장과 변화를 상징한다는 음악-중심 음악치료 철학의 기본전제를 바탕으로, 나는 내 자신의 음악적 개성화 과정이 곧 나의 음악 외적 개성화 과정을 대변하리라 믿는다. 이 글은 아직도 많은 여정이 남아있고, 어쩌면 참된 완성이 가능하지 않을 수도 있는 음악적 개성화 과정에 대한 나의 개인적 기록이며 진솔한 고백이다.

This study explored a sandplay therapy case of a woman maturing through conflicts with an adolescent son. The goal of the therapy was to relieve her from conflicts with going through individuation process under a free and protected space in sandplay therapy. Forty-six therapy sessions were held. The client exhibited that she needed a conversation with her feminity and maternity in the initial phase of therapy (1-5, regression). In the intermediate phase of therapy (6-43, struggle), she displayed the scenes of meeting of opposites, shadow, death, nurturing and integration of opposites. In the final phase of therapy (44-46, transformation), she showed the acception of her life with leaving her situations to God. Through sandplay therapy in the free and protected space, this study showed the effectiveness of sandplay therapy since the client achieved individuation by showing the acceptance of her life and could control her enraged feelings.

연구 목적 : 본 연구는 융의 개성화 과정에 비추어 본 주선애의 영성형성과정에 관한 글이다. 영성은 학자들에 따라 그 정의가 다양하지만 공통된 특징은 자기초월이라는 것이다. 이러한 자기 초월은 나와의 관계, 타인과의 관계, 초월자와의 관계에서 일어날 수 있는데 나와의 관계에서는 자기 객관화로, 타인과의 관계에서는 타자 지향으로, 초월자와의 관계에서는 초월자를 향하는 것으로 나타날 수 있다. 영성은 삶을 둘러싸고 통합하는 점에서 개인의 정체성과 관계가 깊다. 이러한 영성형성은 융의 개성화 과정과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 그 이유는 융의 페르조나와 자아의 분리, 그림자 인식은 자기 객관화의 차원과 관계가 깊기 때문이다. 또한 개성화 과정에서 일어나는 그림자 투사 철회는 타인을 비난하기보다는 자신의 그림자를 인식하며, 타인을 선입견 없이 바라보게 하는 점에서 타자 지향과 관계가 깊다. 개성화 과정의 원동력인 자기(Self)의 상징이 예수 그리스도라는 것은 초월자 하나님과의 관계로 나아가는 영성과 융의 이론이 밀접한 관계가 있다는 것을 말해준다. 그렇기에 융의 개성화 과정을 통해 영성형성과정을 살펴보면 영성의 심리역동적인 차원을 더 잘 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 본 글은 주선애의 영성형성과정을 융의 개성화 과정을 통해 알아보고자 한다. 주선애는 98년의 생애를 통해 민족의 아픔과 고난, 개인의 역경과 어려움을 겪었지만, 그러한 고난과 갈등, 어려운 순간을 통해 개성화 과정을 이루었다. 따라서 문헌연구로 주선애의 개성화 과정을 통해 영성형성과정을 살펴봄으로써 기독교 영성교육의 방향을 고찰하고자 한다. 결론 및 제언 : 본 연구를 통해 주선애의 영성형성의 특징을 세 가지로 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 회개의 삶을 통해 페르조나와 자아의 동일시가 약화된다는 것이다. 둘째, 새로운 소명을 통해 자아가 발달하고 개성화를 이루는 것이다. 셋째, 그림자 통합의 과정에서 십자가의 예수 그리스도를 경험하고, 성화의 과정을 이룬다는 것이다. 이러한 주선애의 영성형성의 특징을 통해 기독교 영성교육의 방향을 살펴보면 기독교 영성교육은 수직적 차원과 수평적 차원의 조화를 이루는 교육이 되어야 하며, 일상의 삶에서 초월적 하나님을 경험하는 교육이 되어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이를 통해 참된 자기 자신이 되고 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑을 실천하는 참된 그리스도인이 될 수 있을 것이다.

칠성풀이는 칠성님과 옥녀부인의 일곱 아들이 칠성신의 신성을 획득하기까지, 일곱 아들의 여러 가지 고난의 역사를 서술한 한국의 무속신화이다. 옥녀부인과 칠성님 사이에서 비범하게 탄생한 일곱 아들은 아버지에게 버림 받는다. 일곱 아들은 특별한 성장 과정을 통해 고통, 죽음, 재생의 과정을 겪으면서 새로운 인격으로 탄생하여 어머니를 살려내고 신성한 지위를 획득한다. 일곱 아들이 칠성신이 된 과정을 분석심리학적 관점에서 고찰하면 영웅 신화에서 볼 수 있는 개성화과정의 일단을 나타내고 있는 것으로 보인다. 칠성신이 된 일곱 아들의 이러한 개성화과정은 한국인의 심성 속에 있는 자기원형의 상징이라고 볼 수 있다. 자기원형은 분열된 마음을 하나로 합쳐주는 치유의 기능을 가지고 있는데, 우리 조상들은 치유자의 어떤 신적인 상의 원형을 일곱 개의 칠성신에 투사한 것으로 보인다.

This study focuses on Gilbert Simondon's individuation theory, a core concept of his technological philosophy, and spatial modality in interactive space as the schema of interactive operation. The study examines spatial modality as the technology of an interaction-enabler that has archi-semiotic characteristics in the designed space by aspects of examples. They are based on ideas and properties of a combined environment and the concept of information, which form Simondon's individuation theory. In the process of technological individuation, spatial modality has the characteristics of archi-semiotics from a combined environment and information. The first of the three properties is representation through semiosis and the information surface. Second is the context by relation works and perception, and third are the symbolic aspects, which could create Placeness by meaning. Combining meaningful constructive and deconstructive spaces could result in space for interactive communication. Spatial modality makes it possible to interact with users and spaces. In fact, it could have a particular semiotic mode of address and become a semiotic and contextual base. As a basic investigation of spatial modality, this study will contribute to interactive space design research.

시몽동의 개체화론과 변환의 방법론은 물질과 생성에 관한 현대 자연 철학의 가능성 및 철학과 과학의 관계에 대한 새로운 전망을 제시한다. 시몽동의 반실체론적 관점에 따르면, 존재는 퍼텐셜 에너지로 충전된 준안정적 시스템으로서, 잇따르는 평형상태들을 가로지르는 양자적 도약을 통해서 점진적으로 자기 복잡화한다. 개체화는 전(前)개체적 상태에서 개체화된 상태로 변이하며 존재의 상(相)들을 생성하는 작용이다. 개체화 일반의 패러다임 모델인 물리적 개체화는 형상 중심의 질료형상도식이 갖는 불충분성을 제시하고 물질의 자발적인 형상화 역량과 물질에 내재하는 역동적인 관계적 작용의 실재성을 입증한다. 개체(구조나 형태)의 발생은 자연에 내재하는 퍼텐셜들의 차이와 크기의 등급들 사이의 불일치를, 내적 공명, 정보 소통, 변환적 관계를 통해서 해결하는 일종의 해(解)로서 일어난다. 시몽동은 현대 물리학의 개념들을 변환적으로 차용하여 고대 자연철학의 '피지스'를 부활시키면서 새로운 비환원적 유물론의 가능성을 보여주었다. 특히 귀납도 연역도 변증법도 아닌 시몽동 고유의 '변환'은 근원적인 존재론적 과정이자 독특한 사유 방법으로서 철학을 비롯한 여러 학문들 간의 상호-관계와 지식의 연결망을 구축하는데 새로운 관점을 제공한다는 점에서 주목할 만하다.
