초등학생을 위한 독서상담 프로그램 개발 및 효과 분석 - 아들러의 개인심리학을 기반으로 - (Development of Biblio Counseling Program for Elementary School Students and Analysis of the Effect: Based on Adler's Individual Psychology)

  • 이 연구는 신체적, 정신적, 심리적으로 과도기적 단계에 있는 초등 고학년 아동을 대상으로 아들러의 개인심리학을 접목한 독서상담 프로그램을 개발하고 이 프로그램이 열등감, 사회적 관심, 생활양식에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도 S시 소재 K초등학교 4-5학년 아동 20명을 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 구성하여 총 12회기에 걸쳐 독서상담프로그램을 적용하였다. 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인심리학을 적용한 독서상담 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단은 열등감, 사회적 관심, 생활양식에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 개인심리학을 적용한 독서상담 프로그램의 실험집단은 주관적인 반응이 긍정적으로 나타났으며, 아동의 독서에 대한 흥미와 책에 대한 관심이 향상된 것으로 나타났다.

소비자의 유행색 브랜드 개성 지각과 태도 (Consumer Trend Color Perception of Brand Personality and Attitude)

  • 색상은 콘텐츠의 하나로서 소비자에게 중요한 의미를 지니게 되는데 일반적으로 개인이 보유하고 있는 색상 이미지는 시간을 두고 축적된 경험이나 지식의 산물로 존재한다. 본 연구는 향후 유행할 것으로 예측되는 유행색을 중심으로 색의 이미지가 가지고 있는 개성과 의미를 파악하고 색상에 대한 태도를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면 크리스탈 사운드, 크리미 터치, 미스테리우스 빈티지, 오톰 포레스트, 카니발 등 5개의 주요한 유행색들은 비교적 독특한 고유의 개성적 이미지를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 추가적인 형용사 이미지 분석 결과, 크리스탈 사운드는 자수성가한 사업가의 이미지를 가지고 있으며, 크리미 터치는 여고생의 이미지, 미스테리우스 빈티지는 대부의 이미지, 오톰 포레스트는 일반 대중의 이미지, 카니발은 서커스 광대의 이미지를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이중 크리미 터치는 소비자의 태도에서 가장 높은 선호도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과들은 개인의 개성과 색상의 개성의 일치성을 고려함으로서 긍정적인 소비자 행동을 유발할 가능성을 보여준다. 또한 본 연구는 패션과 마케팅을 연결한 학제적인 연구로서 가치가 있으며 향후 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

An interaction between cognitive ability and personality on the performance of computer-based group idea generation

  • Purpose Among various psychosocial factors, negative social comparison, attention blocking to stimuli, and cognitive interference via information overload are considered most critical in hindering the effective performance improvement of computer-based idea generation. Given that the effect of negative social comparison along with a plausible solution based on the notion of performance feedback and goal setting has been successfully addressed, this study focused on the remaining issues of "attention blocking to stimuli and cognitive interference via information overload" and attempted to find a way to alleviate the effect of such process losses on performance. Design/methodology/approach A 2 × 4 between-subjects design was used, crossing cognitive ability (high and low) and personality (extroversion and introversion). Five subjects per each treatment were randomly selected to make the sample size equal. The group simulator was used to measure individual-level performance. The dependent variables were the quantity of and quality score of ideas. The manner by which these performance measures were operationalized was consistent with prior studies. An additional analysis using the number of diverse ideas was also conducted. Findings Three arguments were made in this study: (1) high cognitive individuals would perform better than low cognitive individuals, (2) extraverted individuals would perform better than introverted individuals, and (3) cognitive ability and personality would interact such that individuals in Q1 would have the highest performance. Cognitive ability had an effect on quality not quantity. Personality had an effect on both quantity and quality. An interaction between cognitive ability and personality was not found due to small sample size despite the use of the group simulator.

The influence of general characteristics of physical therapy students in regards to major satisfaction and academic achivement

  • Objective: To examine the relations between satisfaction in major, academic achievement and five personality factors of physical therapy students. Design: Questionnaire study. Methods: In order for a complete enumeration when selecting study subjects, we selected five representative schools through raffles. For about three weeks from May 21st to June 16th 2012, we distributed self-administered questionnaires comprised of questions related to five personality factor characteristics, satisfaction in major and academic achievement. Total of 510 questionnaires were distributed and 442 questionnaires were returned. Except the castle is not answered or unanswered call 73 questionnaire collected data from the 369 call. And 369 questionnaires were used for analysis. The frequency analysis was conducted to examine general characteristics of subjects. Results: In the analysis of differences in personality factors for each individual variable in accordance with sex, women had higher degree of neuroticism than men (p<0.05). Also men showed higher openness than women (p<0.05). In the analysis of differences in personality factors for each individual variable in accordance with age, the lower the age was, the higher the degree of neuroticism was (p<0.05). For satisfaction in major, "Satisfaction in school life" and "Motive for selecting the major"were significant factors (p<0.05). academic achievement, "School type" and "Motive for selecting the major" were significant factors (p<0.05). Conclusions: In regards to the satisfaction in major and academic achievement, "Motive for selecting the major" was the major significant factor. Students who had high interest in their majors expressed higher satisfaction, which the in turn correlated with higher academic achievement.

과민성 대장증후군 내원환자의 MMPI 군집분석 (MMPI of Out-Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome)

  • In this cluster analysis of out-patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) we described the psychological features and personality patterns of these patients. The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) was administered to 29 IBS patients who received treatment in the gastroenterology department of Ajou University Hospital to produce individual profiles for each patient. The 29 profiles with 13 standard scales, 15 content scales and 11 personality scales were subjected to cluster analysis resulting in three clusters of the original sample. Titles used to describe the psychological features and personality patterns seen in the three clusters included : (1) depression and anxiety : (2) somatization and denial of affect ; (3) anger overcontrol. Future studies on the treatment of IBS patients may well consider these features, as IBS patients have different psychological patterns.

성인남성의 의복색채선호와 색채관심에 관한 연구 -연령, 성격, 피부색을 중심으로- (A Study on Adult Men′s Color-Preference and Color Interest in Clothing -Focusing on Age, personality and Skin Color-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the clothing interest, the preference for clothing color, in men of their 20s and 30's. The data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 546 men in their 20's and 30s. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which includs factor analysis, t-test, x²-test, Scheffe test, and Cronbach's α to measure the reliability. This study shows the following results. 1. The interest for clothing color was related to individual factors. (age, marriage status, personality). 2. men in their 20's and 30's preferred neutral color, blue, yellow. 3. Men in their 20s and 30s liked monochromatic match in clothing color. 4. The preference for clothing color were appeared to be influenced by the age, personality, skin color.

Individual Differences in Online Privacy Concern

  • We examined the effects of socio-demographics and personality traits on online privacy concern. We investigated this relationship in general and across different Internet functions. Using a large, diverse, population-representative sample (N = 5,242), we found that females, educated, and wealthier individuals tend to be concerned with online privacy to a greater extent. Among personality traits, agreeableness and conscientiousness were generally associated with an increased probability of being concerned with online privacy. These results imply that socio-demographics and personality traits provide explanatory insights into online privacy concern.

지각자의 성격특성이 의복의 시각적 평가에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Perceiver's Personality on Visual Evaluation of Clothing)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out differences of visual evaluation according to perceiver's personality(introvert-extrovert) and clothing styles. Subjects were 120 women in age from 18 to 31 years in Seoul. The stimuli of 7 clothing styles were used for visual evaluation. Three dimensions of visual evaluation were derived by falters analysis: elegance, activity individuality, and fashionability. The pants suit was estimated low in activity individuality and fashionability, but the hip-hop style high in activity individuality. The skirt suit was rated high in elegance, but the 8th length pants low in elegance. Personality had significant influences on the evaluation of activity individuality. Extrovert women perceived all stimuli to be more active and individual than introvert. Fashionability factor had an interaction effect by personality and clothing expenses. The introvert women in low clothing expenses group evaluated the stimuli to be more fashionable than the introvert in high clothing expenses group. There were significant differences in preference of all clothing styles according to personality. Extrovert women liked 8th length pants more than introvert. The introvert women in low clothing expenses group liked the skirt suit less than the extrovert.

패션 플래그쉽 스토어 인테리어디자인의 브랜드 개성과 브랜드 충성도의 영향관계에 관한 연구 - 루이뷔통의 플래그쉽 스토어를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Efect of Brand Personality of Fashion Flagship Store on Brand Loyalty in Interior Design - Focus on the Fashion Flagship Store of Louis Vuitton -)

  • Fashion flagship store is to maximize brand's image, not for sales. As a value for consumption is changing into expression of individual styles and egos through brands' images based on their personalities rather than products, today, people are laying stress on expression of brands' personalities with spatial design of fashion flagship store to create differentiated brand images. This study was designed to examine brand personalities expressed in fashion flagship store's spatial design, and spatial components and ways of expression to influence them, and analyze how brand personality has an impact on brand loyalty. According to the results of this study, brand personality in fashion flagship store's space design of Louis Vuitton has three characteristics such as sincerity, vitality and tenacity, and display, pattern, furniture, color and wall have high influences on expression of its brand personality. Also, the higher brand personality got, the higher brand loyalty went up. These results imply that fashion flagship store's space design expressing differentiated brand personalities influences customers' brand loyalty to constantly use the brands, and thus is highly important for brand marketing of this day.

독서교육에 있어서 청소년의 성격유형과 독서성향의 관련성 연구 (A Study on the Relations of Personality Type and Reading Tendency of the Youth in Reading Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 공공도서관의 주요 봉사대상자이며, 성격형성에 매우 중요한 시기인 청소년의 성격유형별 독서성향과 행태가 어떻게 다른지를 밝혀내어 성격에 기반한 예방적 차원의 독서지도 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 고학년생과 중학교의 학생을 대상으로 데이터를 수집하였으며, 분석에 이용된 설문지는 총 583부(초등학교 324부, 중학교 259부)였다. 연구결과 개인적 적응, 사회적 적응, 문화적 적응영역 모두 7-9개 주제항목에서 유의미한 결과가 나왔다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 성격유형에 따른 독서교육 방안을 개발할 수 있을 것이라고 본다.
