In a homogeneous and isotropic universe, the solution to the Einstein Field equation is the Friedmann-Robertson-Lemaître-Walker metric, which describes an expanding Universe with spatial curvature. The curvature has profound implications, in particular regarding the early universe. In this talk, I will review the state-of-the-arts constraints on the spatial curvature of the Universe using different cosmological observations. In particular, I will focus on model-independent tests using baryon acoustic oscillations and supernovae.

Mix & Match Visual Image, appearing in T-shirt one-point graphics, is a new visual image emerged as a result of several trends: development of cutting-edge machinery and computer programs, various needs of consumers, and an international trend of fusion concept. Thus, a concrete research of Mix & Match Visual Images is demanding. This paper studies one-point graphic, which appeared in the SamsungDesignNet, Interfashion Planning, and firstviewkorea, with a focus on apparel T-shirt of women's wear and casual wear from 2001 to 2004. The study shows that the most preferred independent visual image in Mix & Match Visual Images is a typography, and next is in the order of marks, symbols, geometric diagrams and abstract shapes, animals and plants, characters, materials, and collages. As Mix & Match of independent visual images was mainly combined typography with other independent visual images, we need to develop more Mix & Match Visual Images using various independent visual images's mix and match. Then, T-shirt will be one of the most representative items in Korean fashion trend that enable consumers to express their characters, escaping from the old-fashioned concept that T-shirt is just a T-shirt.

An economic system is a means by which societies or governments organize and distribute available resources, services, and goods across a geographic region or country. The Islamic financial system faces a number of challenges as part of its role as a tool for developing economic activities. This study intends to advance research by Lassoued (2018) by expanding the research population to include Islamic banks in Asia and adding new dimensions - the size of the independent commissioner and corporate governance. The population of this study is the 100 largest Islamic banks in Asia. Statistical calculations with the STATA application is used for data analysis. Based on the test results, it was found that the size of the sharia board and the independent board of directors did not affect the financial stability of Islamic banking companies. Another finding is that the size of the independent commissioner affects financial stability. This finding shows that commissioners have played an active role in the company, indicating that if the sharia banking company has an ideal number of independent commissioners, it will be advantageous to the company's stability and business sustainability.

This study aims to examine the effect of environmental performance, independent board of commissioners, and firm size on environmental disclosure measured by the Indonesian environmental index. The population in this study is manufacturing and coal mining companies that follow "PROPER" and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2019. This research was conducted by reviewing annual reports to collect information on environmental disclosures. The sampling used in this study was purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 117. Also, the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with statistical hypothesis testing. The results showed that environmental performance and firm size had a positive effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners does not affect financial performance. Furthermore, environmental performance, firm size, and financial performance have a positive effect on environmental disclosure. While the independent board of commissioners does not affect environmental disclosure. The findings of this research suggest that environmental performance has a significant positive effect on financial performance. The hypothesis is accepted, meaning that companies that are sensitive to environmental problems and run eco-efficiency operations will strengthen the company's profitability.

본고는 진리가 지닌 본래적 가치와 진리의 본체성 사이에 어떤 관계가 있는가의 질문에 대한 답을 모색한다. 진리의 본체성은 다양한 방식으로 정의될 수 있으나 본고는 진리 개념이 불투명한 개념이라는 뜻으로 규정한다. 대표적인 진리 다원주의자인 마이클 린치(Michael P. Lynch)는 진리의 본체성과 진리의 본래적 가치를 모두 긍정한다. 본고는 린치가 제시하는 진리의 본래적 가치를 옹호하는 논증을 분석한 후, 그가 제시하는 진리의 본래적 가치 옹호는 진리의 다원적 발현을 주장하는 그의 이론과 독립적임을 논증할 것이다. 아울러 진리의 본체성을 부정하는 대표적인 견해인 폴 호리치(Paul Horwich)의 진리 축소주의에 따르면 어떻게 진리가 지닌 본래적 가치를 옹호할 수 있는가를 살펴볼 것이다. 그리고 두 이론을 비교함으로써, 진리의 본래적 가치와 진리의 본체성이 서로 독립적인 논제인 이유를 자세히 해명할 것이다. 그리고 진리의 다원적 발현이 진리 가치의 다원성을 일반적으로 함축하지 않는다는 추가적인 귀결이 우리의 일상적인 진리 담론에서 어떤 함의를 가지는가를 간략히 제시할 것이다.

In this study, we will present a knowledge-based consulting system, called THYCONS, for diagnosing thyroid disorders. It has been developed to make the knowledge and expertise of the human expert more widely available, therefore achieving a high-quality diagnosis. Frames will be used to represent the medical knowledge of thyroid disorders, and several rules are attached in each slot of a frame. The uncertainty of diagnostic processes is manipulated by the subjective Bayesian method under the assumption that the pieces of evidence are conditionally independent. Searching for the group of diagnostic tests to be carried out and their optimum sequences will be established in order to infer a more correct diagnosis on the basis of maximum information gain with cost and time restrictions. Additionally. differential diagnosis will be carried out based on the information gained.

To ensure that equipment outages do not directly impact the reliability of the ISO-controlled grid, market participants request permission and receive approval for planned outages from the independent system operator (ISO) in competitive electricity markets. In the face of major generation outages, the ISO will make a critical decision as regards the scheduling of the essential maintenance for myriads of generating units over a fixed planning horizon in accordance with security and adequacy assessments. Mainly, we are concerned with a fundamental framework for ISO's maintenance coordination in order to determine precedence of conflicting outages. Simulated annealing, a powerful, general-purpose optimization methodology suitable for real combinatorial search problems, is used. Generally, the ISO will put forward its best effort to adjust individual generator maintenance schedules according to the time preferences of each power generator (GENCO) by taking advantage of several factors such as installed capacity and relative weightings assigned to the GENCOs. Thus, computer testing on a four-GENCO model is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the applicability of the solution scheme to large-scale maintenance scheduling coordination problems.

The chicken has been growing in Korea for more than a thousand years according to the history book and commercially rising for broiler meat only since 1960's. As income increased mainly due to improved economy, it changes the habit of eating especially chicken meat. The structure changes into a coordinated production and marketing system which forced the prevailed small and independent producers to become a contract farmer under the vertically controlled practices. This coordinated structure began in 1970's and evolved continually to occupy around 90 percent of the market in 2010 with some ten (10) private brands being advertising. The industrial organizations have also conducted the generic promotion by a farmer's check-off program. Over the past 20 years, chicken import steadily increased to meet about 25 percent of the domestic market while the export showed negligible growth. As a whole, the structure change and international trade devoted to increased chicken consumption from 2 kg with the independent operation to 11 kg currently under the coordinated system and import. It is predicted that chicken consumption will grow in years to come and the import will also increase in addition to local productions, considering the free trade agreement that has already been in practice with EU and US to open the market eventually from all sources of supply worldwide.

본 연구는 중소기업을 대상으로 조직공정성, 경영자특성을 독립변수로 설정하였고, 직무만족을 종속변수로 그리고 신뢰를 매개변수로 설정하여 독립변수와 종속변수 간에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 연구의 결과는 조직공정성의 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호작용공정성 모두 직무만족에 대해 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 경영자특성의 리더십특성, 역량특성, 심리적 특성 모두 직무만족에 정적(+) 영향이 있어 종업원이 지각하는 신뢰를 통한 매개 효과도 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 종업원들의 직무만족 증진으로 업무의 효율과 능률을 제고시켜 결과적으로 기업의 생산성을 높여줄 것이고 장기적으로 기업의 수익성이 향상하게 될 것이다.

Regional development and community design has become very important these days. Especially in Hyogo Prefecture after the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake, voluntary works have become more popular. With citizen participation, environmental circumstances change a lot. It is becoming very difficult for municipal governments alone to achieve every desirable project. NPOs made of professional members in the Hanshin area have conducted notable activities after the earthquake. At the same time it is necessary also to educate citizens for community design with greenery. These people will support their town design along with professionals. Awaji Landscape and Horticulture Planning Academy provides an excellent educational program, an introduction and examination of which should be valuable. The main concept of the education program is to foster the growth of local community design leaders. Students appreciated the programs very much even if initially they expected a more practical program about planting than programs that teach community design. Many people are active in their own towns to create better environments and communities. The network system "Alpha Green-Net" is functional to support graduates of the course. In the future these educational programs for citizens will becomes very important. Other cities are starting to have their own progrms, but they are still very short term. "Alpha Green-Net" is in the process of growing. Many members are very keen to develop their own abilities. In the future these NPOs should become independent. To help these NPOs become independent and active the educational programs should consider and teach about how to do this more in the future.
