  • Recently, most of advanced materials used a wide industry field commonly have the characteristics of difficulty-to-cut materials. The cutting of difficulty-ro-cut materials have a variable optimum cutting conditions and methods according to materials. Above all,it is important of understanding to machinability of each materials. Especially, superalloy with Elevated Temperature Strength like as Incone1718 was used in nuclear power equipment and jet engine parts. This research shows a machining characteristics of Heat-Resistant alloy for high efficiency cutting through cutting force,tool wear and cutting temperature in SUS304 and Incone1718.

Development of Differential Type Eddy Current Probe for NDT Evaluation of the Steam Generator Tube (증기발생기 전열관의 비파괴 탐상용 차등형 와전류 탐촉자 개발)

  • Steam generator of a nuclear power plant has important rolls for the heat transfer and the isolation of radioactive materials. So bursting of the steam generator tube is directly related to the accident of nuclear power plants. Incone1600 has been used for the steam generator tube material. The material shows non-magnetic and metallic properties, eddy current NDT method has been employed for defects detection. In this work, a differential type of eddy current probe was developed to improve resolution of defect detection. To verify properties of the developed differential type eddy current probe, we have made reference material with SUS304 which has similar magnetic and electrical properties of Inconel600. Using the developed differential type eddy current probe, we can detect defect size of 0.25 mm in diameter and 0.2 mm in depth (volume of $1{\times}10^{-3}\;mm^3$) with the reference material.

Determination of Chemical Compositions and Oxidation States for Corrosion Products in LiCl Molten Salts

  • The mechanism of corrosion behavior has to be understood clearly to select an optimum material for handling molten salts to be used in the oxide reduction process of PWR spent fuel. In this study, the oxidation states of corrosion products on the surface of Inconel 600 and 800H as well as their chemical compositions and structural informations were determined by using XPS, ICP-AES, AAS, EPMA and XRD after the corrosion experiment with lithium molten salts at 75$0^{\circ}C$ for 25 hours. Nickel and oxygen were detected from the corrosion products on the surface of Inconel plates and chromium was found to be dissolved out into lithium molten salts leaving cracks on the surface. The corrosion products were identified as metal oxides such as Fe$_2$O$_3$, Cr$_2$O$_3$, NiO, NiFe$_2$O$_4$and MnO by using XPS and XRD.

A Study on the Improvement of Independent Loan Fund Business for low-income Disabled (저소득장애인을 위한 장애인자립자금대여사업 개선방안 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the current situation of Independent loan fund business for disabled for independent and living stabilization of low-income disabled and presented a plan to support effectively. Methods were reanalyzed to obtain the data inside the Ministry of Health and Welfare and conducted a expert survey. The results of this study were First, The budget was 8.1 billion won and target households was 800, but the used budget was about 5.6 billion won(executive rate was 69.3%) and beneficiaries was 384 families. Second, the loan condition was gurantee is 58.5%, pawn is 23.3%, ungurantee is 18.2%. And, the loan type was occupation is 60.0%, car purchase is 35.3%, medical expenses is 2.6% and so on. In addition, 1,735 people apply for a loan fund but 904 people received a loan fund. So, loan rate was 52.1%. Third, business retention rate was 74.7% and close rate was 25.3%. Fourth, expert opinion was government support necessary for the in low-income disabled in social and economic situation of Korea. This study suggested that the loan purpose, loan amount, loan condition, simplified course were needed to consider when establishing policy for low-incone disabled.
