The rapid growth of economy improves not only the life quality of people in this modern society but also standards of value in connection with how those people would spend money as they engage in various leisure and cultural activities. That being the case, hotels are currently changing into places of new concepts depending on those new lifestyles of these people, and in those new places, people can entertain and experience as enjoying cultures. The marketing collaboration of the hotels with brands can be used as a more inclusive way to enhance brand images. In addition, as having infinite possibilities of the collaboration's being able to create a new-concept space with an identity of a brand included, this collaboration makes it possible for the design hotels to decorate their interior spaces differently from those of other hotels. In the light of that, the brand collaboration is basically divided into three groups which are the fashion collaboration, the technique collaboration and the designer collaboration, and the brand collaboration is also able to express the interior spaces of the design hotels as working on those six components, such as reproduction, events, alteration, messages, culture and image. After all, through the brand collaboration marketing, this thesis expects an interior design of a new-concept design hotel which would play a role as a complex cultural space.

Modern society is suffering from the phenomena of low-fertile, ultra-aging, and low-growth. On this social flow, most social classes undergo vulnerable situation and their overall housing and living condition have difficulties. So far many housing guidelines for diverse population were developed, recently, inclusive 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families' in terms of maintaining family and society has been completed. The purpose of this study is to analyze User Benefit Characteristics of 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families'. The research subjects are essential 140 guidelines appropriate to children's development and parents' care. The research method is contents analysis and the analysis criterion are 4 concepts of the User Benefit Criteria- 'Behavioral Facilitation (BF)', 'Physiological Maintenance (PhM)', 'Perceptual Maintenance (PM)', 'Social Facilitation (SF)'. 3 people inter-raters reliability was established. Altogether, the guidelines were rated in the order of PhM>PM>BF>SF, and these characteristics are similar as common universal design guidelines. This showed the supportability of spatial characteristics in the guidelines related to user's special behaviors. Also, the results show the importance of outdoor space planning for safe social interactions. The supportable characteristics of 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families' could be expected to efficiently apply for new housing development in the future.

To build a successful information system, design and development should be carried out from the enterprise perspective. A complicated business is represented in various ways as technology advances, and many development methodologies have been studied from the viewpoint of technology and development. Each domain is independently designed and developed from the enterprise perspective, but there would be inclusive parts due to the integrated process wherein the definition, design, and development of business are carried out, and the design is done based on the designer's experience. This study would like to address the technique of designing screens based on the business process of the applications derived from the business. It designs the screens that appear when actual applications are completed, including how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screens. It designs the screen which is displayed when the actual application is completed and how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screen. In addition, it designs the DFD representing the overall flow of data for each business to represent the movement procedure between screens in general. Through the design method proposed in this study, the client's requirement could be confirmed to reduce the cost for redevelopment, the problem of communication between designers and developers with various experiences could be reduced, and an efficient design procedure could be provided to persons who lack design experience.

Architecture has been expressed a complexity of their civilization with evolving into a living spaces and a crystalloid of culture in the times. So, architecture is always a dramatic phenomenon related to architectural aesthetic and technical expression in harmony with social and cultural issues by the times. From this point of view, we can describe that architecture is one of an important mediators to analyze the integrated trend of time. Specially an expressed building envelop which is a matter of consequence in the architectural component is first visual factor including architectural meaning and historical back ground. Therefore, this study firstly starts an investment for discriminative characteristics of building envelop design in the times, then will take the comparative analysis related with modern age and contemporary age based on phases of the times. This research will give the chance to prepare of the pillar of future envelop design in the practical affairs and has simultaneously the chance to understand of inclusive envelop design methodology by the changes of the times.

Furniture in the modern living environment, inclusive the importance of its practical value, is a plastic element of indoor space, and its artistic value also holds an important position. Moreover, emotional design based on the emotional engineering in a structural change of modern society such as urbanization, small family, aging society is proposed as an important keyword in the modern design. Namely, furniture as an component of modern residential space has been advanced as a human-oriented environmental element considering people's emotional and mental value to the functional satisfaction and artistic and emotional satisfaction. Furniture is a living tool that is much contacted to people, which affects highly on people's body and mind. This means that people's volition action can be naturally induced by furniture design, and that furniture can display a role as an active tool of means to make people's interpersonal communication and interchange. Namely, I think furniture design of emotional interchange that understands furniture user's pattern behavior and pattern, and observes furniture form and structure and functionality on users' relationship affecting on people's emotional stability and interpersonal interchange of emotion, as an indispensable element necessary for producing more human and prosperous environment of life.

Technophobia is described as the 'abnormal fear or anxiety about the effects of advanced technology', affecting one third of the population, causing health problems and the inability to work efficiently. The development of the mobile phone, both in its design process and its following socioeconomic success, has a prominent effect on our society in general; this point will be explicated in this paper. The negative effects of these developments have also been assessed with questionnaire-based interviews, focus groups and media analysis in order to focus on those who are most susceptible to the effects of technophobia, to discover the possible causes and to develop a solution for overcoming the phobia. The findings of the literature review and empirical research have been debated; the results proved inconclusive. All age and sex and groups displayed levels of anxiety around technology. Therefore, designers cannot afford to abandon these individuals in the future, and attention should be directed into inclusive product design. Therefore, various solutions have been suggested for support for these sufferers, such as tuition and bespoke, 'built to specification' mobile phones.

Since the occurrence of 1995 Kobe earthquake, there have been much concern about seismic design for various infrastructures, inclusive of bridge structures. This research aims at evaluating the seismic performance of the existing R/C bridge piers, which were nonseismically or seismically designed in accordance with the provision of Korea Highway Design Specification. Further experimental investigations have been doing to figure out the retrofitting effects of nonseismic R/C bridge piers confined with glass fiber at the plastic hinge zone. Pseudo-dynamic tests have been carried out in nine scaled R/C column specimens to investigate their hysteretic behavior under earthquake loading. Test parameters are axial load, input ground motion confinement steel ratio, glass fiber and etc.

The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of developing policies for parks and green spaces for inclusive urban planning and regeneration. By reviewing the status, budget, and laws pertaining to urban parks in Korea, as well as assessing the inclusivity of urban parks, this study revealed the problems and limitations in Korea as follows. First, the urban park system, which takes into account indicators such as park area per capita and green space ratio, is focused only on quantitative expansion. Second, the distribution of urban parks is unequal; hence, the higher the number of vulnerable residents, the lower the quality of urban parks and green spaces. Moreover, this study focused on the UK central government, along with the five local governments, including London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, and Liverpool. Through an analysis of the contexts and contents establishing UK park and green space policies that can reduce socioeconomic inequalities while at the same time increase inclusiveness. This study discovered the following. The government's awareness of the necessity of tackling socioeconomic inequalities to make an inclusive society, the change in the urban regeneration policies from physical redevelopment to neighborhood renewal, and the survey and research on the correlation of parks and green spaces, inequality, health, and well-being provided the background for policy establishment. As a result, the creation of an inclusive society has been reflected in the stated goals of the UK's national plan and the strategies for park and green space supply and qualitative improvement. Deprived areas and vulnerable groups have been included in many local governments' park and green space policies. Also, tools for analyzing deficiencies in parks and methods for examining the qualitative evaluation of parks were developed. Besides, for the sustainability of each project, various funding programs have been set up, such as raising funds and fund-matching schemes. Different ways of supporting partnerships have been arranged, such as the establishment of collaborative bodies for government organizations, allowing for the participation of private organizations. The study results suggested five policy schemes, including conducting research on inequality and inclusiveness for parks and green spaces, developing strategies for improving the quality of park services, identifying tools for analyzing policy areas, developing park project models for urban regeneration, and building partnerships and establishing support systems.

It is very important to ensure usability and inclusion in product design and development. Exclusion Calculation, developed by Simon Keates and P. John Clarkson at Cambridge University's Engineering Design Center, assesses the usability and inclusiveness of the product. In context of inadequate research on effectiveness of Exclusion Calculation, this study carried out the experimental evaluation of electric iron and discussed the effectiveness of the Exclusion Calculation from usefulness, accuracy of its evaluation results and the intuitiveness of the evaluation items. 11 designers used Exclusion Calculation in product evaluation and estimated the intuitiveness of 14 evaluation items in Exclusion Calculation by questionnaire. Then usefulness of the evaluation results was discussed and the accuracy of the evaluation results was analyzed by standard deviation. From the evaluation results, the research found that Exclusion Calculation could help designers identify the usability problems and the generality of usability problems related to the physical characteristics of the products, but it can not find the problems from logical aspect of using. In addition, the ambiguity of the evaluation scale in Exclusion Calculation leads to lower accuracy of the evaluation results. Most of evaluation items in Exclusion Calculation were easy to be identified and judged, while evaluation items related to cognitive abilities are less intuitive.

Human perceive space and identity every basic form by the contrast of light and dark. The existence of light is very inclusive concept in the space, so space and form are completed by light. The change of based on time, place, and its amount acts as an important element Which can change the form of Space. In Space light doesn't work simply as light itself, but have a very close relation with Space, Form, Structure, Material, Color elements, Space is limited by physical form but human perceive space relatively by many other conditions, So same space can be experienced differently by the characters of light. Human can recognized and observe an object in the space as he processes information collected through light. In this process light make it possible for human to see the shape in space. therefore, the shape of space can get meanings when light exists. the space recognized by light is the mean that activates human activates in space.
