This study was performed to investigate the improvement of the pregnancy rate of Al or clone embryo transfer on hCG administration in Korean Native heifer. A total of 42 heifers were treated with control, CIDR(withou E2 capsule). hCG after 7 day of hi, the pregnancy rate were spewed 53, 46, 71%. These results were significant different among the treatments(P<0.05). When the hCG were adminstrated at cloned embryo transfer, pregnanacy rate were control, hCG 5.8%, 10.4% respectively and there was no significant different between treatments. Plasma P4 concentration of hCG treatment in heifers were 3 times higher than control on 13~16 day after heat. After this, plasma P4 concentration of CIDR and hCG treated heifers were kept the 2~3 times levels. IGF-I concentration were showed no differences between pregnancy and non-pregnancy. hOG and CIDR. IGF-II concentration were revealed the differences between pregnancy and non-pregnancy in CIDR group but there was no differences in hCG administration group. Plasma cortisol were high at heat and 16 day after heat and CIDR treated group was higher than the other group. These results suggest that hCG administration was improve the pregnancy rates on Al and cloned ET, accompanying the incline of P4 concentration.

This paper describes the positioning accuracies for single and multiple reference stations at fixed stations in Yosu harbor and Pukyong National University in the south coast of Korea from Jan. to Oct. 2001. Also we observed the change of positioning accuracy during a day and the available range of the DGPS reference station. he results obtained are main summarized as follows; 1. With single DGPS reference station, 2drms and the average positioning .error were 5.6m, 7.3m respectively. Measurement positions indicated an incline toward one way away from the actual position. 2. With multiple DGPS reference stations, 2drms and the average position error were 5.5m, 3.2m for the arithmetic mean, respectively. They were 5.3m, 3.8m for the weighted average, respectively. As far as the separation between the user and the reference station, using multiple reference stations improved position accuracy more than using single reference station. 3. The average positioning error increased between 16: 00 and 22 : 00. The average number of observed satellite and HDOP were 7.1m, 0.49 respectively. 4. Coverage of DGPS reference stations in the south coast of Korea was estimated to be 110nm. Signal strength and signal to noise ratio was not available the DGPS signal below 19㏈, 8㏈ respectively.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of supplementation of mulberry powder, mulberry extract and silkworm powder during the 8 weeks of resistance exercise on Androgen receptor(AR) mRNA and Myogenic regulatory factors(MRFs) expression of rats muscle. Fifty males, Sprague-Dawley rat, were randomly divided into 5 groups: CON(control group, n = 10), REG(resistance exercise group, n = 10), MP REG(mulberry powder intake and resistance exercise group, n = 10), ME REG(mulberry extract intake and resistance exercise group, n = 10) and SP REG(silkworm powder intake and resistance exercise group, n = 10). After climbing the ladder without weights during the 1 week of adaptation period, the rats in the resistance exercise group were trained to climb a 0.98-m vertical(80 degree incline) ladder with weights in their tail during 7 weeks(10 times each day, 2 days per week). After exercise, the skeletal muscle was extracted from the flexor hallucis longus. After separating the total ribonucleic acid (RNA) of each group, quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to analyze RNA quantitatively. AR mRNA and MRFs expression revealed that all of the treated groups had significantly difference. AR mRNA expression increased in ME REG $6.24{\pm}1.85$ and SP REG $9.68{\pm}0.28$ fold compared to CON. Myod mRNA expression increased in MP REG $6.04{\pm}0.47$, ME REG $4.31{\pm}1.58$ and SP REG $8.11{\pm}0.57$ fold compared to CON. And myogenin mRNA expression increased in MP REG $4.11{\pm}0.42$, ME REG $4.12{\pm}0.45$ and SP REG $6.50{\pm}0.61$ fold compared to CON. In conclusion, during the resistance exercise, providing mulberry and silkworm gives positive effect on AR mRNA and MRFs expression increase.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of green tea on hepatic antioxidative defense system and recovery of muscle fatigue in rat after aerobic exercise. Male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 150$\pm$ 10 g were randomly assigned to one normal (N) group and aerobic exercise training groups. Exercise training groups were classified into two groups: training (T) group and green tea (TG) group which were supplemented the distilled water and green tea extracts by dringking water during experimental periods, respectively. The experimental rats in exercise training groups (T and TG) ran on a treadmill 30 min/day at a speed of 28 m/min (7% incline) 5 days/week or were cage confined (Normal group) for 4 weeks. And rats were sacrificed with an overdose of pentobarbital injection just after running. Hepatic xanthine oxidase (XOD) activities were not significantly different among three groups. The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in T group was no significant difference from N group, but those of TG groups were significantly increased, compared with that of T group. Hepatic glutathione peroxidase (GSHpx) activites of TG groups showed a similar tendency to that of normal group, but it was increased to 20% in TG group, compared with normal group. The reduced glutathione (GSH) contents in liver was not significantly different from that of any three group. The oxidized glutathione (GSSG) contents in T group was increased to 69%, compared with the normal group, but TG group significantly decreased, compared with the T group. The ratio of GSH/GSSG in liver of T group was lower than that of normal group, but those of TG group was a similar tendency to that of normal group. Contents of thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS) in T group was increased to 52%, compared with that of normal group but those of TG group were recovered the normal level. Contents of hepatic glycogen in T group were decreased to 23% compared with those of normal group, while that of TG group was the same as normal levels. The contents of serum lactic acid in T group were increased to 261%, compared with normal group, but those of TG group maintained the normal level by green tea supplementations. In conclusion, the effects of green tea in exercise training rats would appear to reduce peroxidation of tissue as an antioxidative defense mechanism and promote recovery of muscle fatigue.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress distribution at supporting bone according to the types of connection modality between implant and tooth in the superstrcture. This investigation evaluated the stress patterns in a photoelastic model produced by three different types of dental implants such as Branemark, Steri-Oss, IMZ and resin tooth using the techniques of quasi three dimensional photoelasticity. The teeth-supported bridge had a first molar pontic supported by second premolar and second molar as a control group. The implant and toothsupported bridge had a first molar pontic supported by second premolar and implant posterior retainer as an experimental group. Prostheses were mechanically connected to an adjacent second premolar by the rigid of nonrigid connection, Nonrigid connection used an attachment placed between the tooth-supported and fixture-supported component. The female(keyway) of attachment was placed on the distal end of the retainer supported by the tooth ; the male(Key) of attachment connected to the osseointegrated bridge was engaged into the keyway. All prostheses were casted in the same nonprecious alloy and were cemented and screwed on their respective abutments and implants. 16㎏ of vertical loads on central fossae of second premolar, first molar pontic, implant of second molar were applied respectively and 6.5㎏ of inclined load on middle buccal surface of first molar pontic was applied. The results were as follows : 1. Under the vertical load on the central fossa of first mloar pontic, the stress developed at the apex of tooth of implat was more uniformly distributed in the case of nonrigid connection than in the case of rigid connection. 2. Under the vertical load on the central fossa of first molar pontic, the stress developed around the cervical area of tooth of implant was larger in the case of rigid connection than in the case of nonrigid connection because the bending moment was more occured in the case of rigid connection than in the case of nonrigid connection. 3. Stress was more restricted to the loaded side of nonrigid connection than to that of rigid connection 4. Under the inclined load. The set screw loosening of implant was more easily occured in the case of nonrigid connection than in the case of rigid connection due to torque moment. 5. In the case of Branemark implant, the stress concentration in second premolar was larger and the stress developed around the cervical area of implant was lower than any other cases under the vertical load, because Branemark implant with the flexible gold screw was showed in incline toward second premolar by a bending moment. 6. The stress developed around the apex of tooth or implant was more uniformly distributed in the case of Steri-Oss implant with stiff screw than in the case of Branemark implant under the vertical load. But, the stress developed around the cervical area of the Steri-Oss implant was larger than that of any other implants because bending moment was occured by vertical migration of second premolar. 7. The stress distribution in the case of IMZ implant was similar to the case of natural teeth under small vertical load. But, the residual stress around the implant was showed to occurdue to deformation of IMC and sinking of screw under larger vertical load.
In order to remediate heavy metal contaminated Nong island, Maehyang-ri shooting range soils through the batch reactor scale washing were evaluated. The experiment texture soil of N3 in the Nong island at north side incline was (g)mS containing 12.9% gravel, 47.0% sand, 35.1% silt and 5.0% clay. And the N3 soil area was contaminated with Cd($22.5\pm1.9$ ppm), Cu($35.5\pm4.0$ ppm), Pb($1,279.0\pm5.1$ ppm) and Zn($403.4\pm9.8$ ppm). The EDTA(ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid, $C_{10}H_{16}N_2O_8$) in the N3 soil was observed as most effective extractants among the 5 extractants(citric acid, EDTA, phosphoric acid, potassium phosphate and oxalic acid) tested. And chemical partitioning of heavy metals after washing N3 soil with EDTA was evaluated. Removal efficiency of residual fractions was higher than that of non-residual fractions. To choose EDTA extractant which is the most effective in soil washing technology using batch reactor process cleaning Pb and Zn contaminated sits; Pb and Zn removal rates were investigated 92.4%, 94.0% removal(1,000 mM, soil:solution=5, $20^{\circ}C$, 24 hour shaking, pH=2, 200 RPM), respectively. The results of the batch test showed that the removal efficiency curve was logarithmic in soil was removal. Thus, EDTA washing process can be applied to remediate the Pb and Zn contaminated soil used in this study.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of various occlusal loading sites and directions on the stress distribution of the cervical composite resin restorations of maxillary second premolar, using 3 dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) analysis. Extracted maxillary second premolar was scanned serially with Micro-CT (SkyScan1072; SkyScan, Aartselaar, Belgium). The 3D images were processed by 3D-DOCTOR (Able Software Co., Lexington, MA, USA). HyperMesh (Altair Engineering. Inc., Troy, USA) and ANSYS (Swanson Analysis Systems. Inc., Houston, USA) was used to mesh and analyze 3D FE model. Notch shaped cavity was filled with hybrid (Z100, 3M Dental Products, St. Paul, MN, USA) or flowable resin (Tetric Flow, Viva dent Ets., FL-9494-Schaan, Liechtenstein) and each restoration was simulated with adhesive layer thickness ($40{\mu}m$). A static load of 200 N was applied on the three points of the buccal incline of the palatal cusp and oriented in $20^{\circ}$ increments, from vertical (long axis of the tooth) to oblique $40^{\circ}$ direction towards the buccal. The maximum principal stresses in the occlusal and cervical cavosurface margin and vertical section of buccal surfaces of notch-shaped class V cavity were analyzed using ANSYS. As the angle of loading direction increased, tensile stress increased. Loading site had little effect on it. Under same loading condition. Tetric Flow showed relatively lower stress than Z100 overall, except both point angles. Loading direction and the elastic modulus of restorative material seem to be important factor on the cervical restoration.
For the toxicological pathologic study of amanita muscaria, we have investigated single and repeated dose toxicity in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Single dose toxicity study was identified as catalepsy, incline and tail pinch methods (control 0 mg/kg, low 3.3 mg/kg, middle 16.5 mg/kg, high 33.0 mg/kg). Repeated dose toxicity study was carried out in blood tests, serum tests and histopathological methods. Neurotoxicity - muscle paralysis, and convulsion and loss of movement - was observed at 33.0 mg/kg group in the single dose toxicity study. Dysfunction of liver and kidney were shown in the repeated oral administration of the amanita muscaria at 3${\sim}$4 weeks. Serum chemistry results revealed a marked increase of LDH [Lactate Dehydrogenase (3181.5 IU/L; normal 230-460 IU/l)], ALT [Alanine transaminase (124.0 IU/l; normal <40 IU/l)] but the kidney was normal. Histopathological results show interstitial edema and tubular epithelial necrosis in the kidney. These results suggest that amanita muscaria has a neurotoxic effect and causes dysfunction of liver and kidney in the SD rat.

In this study, I examined the relationship between the pattern of Tungp'o (東坡体)'s characters play, Paza(破字) and Nanji(難字), Iruiimyo(異類異名) the Chinese characters play, developed in the Edo period in Japan. I found out the following. First, Nanji and Iruiimyo's method of Chinese character transformation is like Tungp'o(東坡体)'s characters play and Paza(破字), that is to make an analysis of Chinese character. For example, to extend or shorten to character's length, and to increase or reduce the character's size. And, I also found out there is no block type characters play in Nanji and Iruiimyo. Second, I also found that the similarity of the method of Chinese character transformation between the pattern of Tungp'o(東坡体)'s characters play, Paza(破字) and Nanji(難字), Iruiimyo(異類異名). The method of to flip character (180 degrees) and to letting character lie down (90 degrees) is very similar each other. But there is no method to make incline of character (45 degrees) in Nanji and Iruiimyo. Third, I found that the method to extract part of character also exists in Chinese and Japanese characters play. And, I also found that the method to decompose characters in half from the pattern of Tungp'o(東坡体)'s characters play, but I can't find this method from Nanji and Iruiimyo. To decompose characters in half is very like the method of paja. So, we can understand that Nanji and Iruiimyo is located in the middle stage of the pattern of between Tungp'o(東坡体)'s characters play and Paza(破字).
