ADS-B장착 항공기 예비위험분석 (Preliminary Hazard Analysis for ADS-B equipped Aircraft)

  • ICAO has recommended ADS-B implementation that is considered as next generation surveillance system to meet the air traffic capability and aviation safety. However, safety verification for the new ADS-B technology should be carried out in advance. FAA performed a preliminary hazard analysis for ADS-B equipped aircraft through Capstone program in Alaska in order to reduce aviation accidents. The present study deals with ADS-B concept, FAA Capstone program and PHA for ADS-B equipped aircraft. We expect that this paper will be a valuable material to assess ADS-B risk when it is applied to the domestic environment.

  • This study is an investigation for the ADS optimum design by using FEM. We write out program which express ADS perfectly and reduce the required time for correcting of model to the minimum in solution and manufacture result. We complete algorithm which can plan optimum forming of model by feedback error information in CAE. For that, we draw up ADS program which modeling rachet wheel by using visual LISP and telegraph to ANSYS, structural solution program, we can solve stress solution. Then we correct model by feedback date obtaining in solution process, repeat course following stress solution again and do modeling rachet wheel for optimum forming. That is our aim. As a result of experience, we can develope automatic design program using Visual LISP and exhibit ADS as modeling third dimension CAD for optimum design. Also, we develop optimum design algorithm using ADS and FEM. In rachet wheel, greatest equivalence stress originates in key groove comer and KS standard is proved the design for security.

ADS 최적화 프로그램을 이용한 사석 방파제의 경제성 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Economic Design of Rubble Mould Breakwaters Using ADS(Automated Design Synthesis) Optimization Program)

  • In this paper, the method of determining the economically-optimal design section of rubble mound breakwater, using ADS program, was studied to supplement the deterministic approach. First of all, the design waves are computed, according to the return periods, using the Weibull distribution from the data of waves at the location of the breakwater. In order to take an optimal section, according to the return periods, the ADS program was used. The restriction conditions and objective functions are decided from the references of the specifications and standard manuals for Coastal and Harbor Construction Work. Results from this study support the ADS program as an appropriate method for determining the economically-optimal section of rubble mound breakwater, comparing the construction costs and the initial and damage repair costs for its life time.

Knowledge, Experience, and Attitudes of Nurses at Long-Term Care Hospitals regarding Advance Directives

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to promote awareness of the need for advance directives (ADs) and to provide baseline data for the development of a nurse training program about ADs. Methods: Nurses at eight long-term care hospitals in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province (N=143) were recruited using the random sampling method from December 2018 to January 2019. Data were obtained using a structured self-reported questionnaire to assess their knowledge, experience, and attitudes regarding ADs. Data were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 using descriptive statistics, the t-test, analysis of variance, the Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean scores were 7.79±1.39 points for knowledge, 1.92±2.00 points for experience, and 2.80±0.24 points for attitudes regarding ADs. Knowledge and experience (r=0.32, P<0.001) had a positive correlation with knowledge and attitudes (r=0.17, P=0.39). Conclusion: According to the results, nurses generally had a high level of knowledge regarding ADs, which resulted in a positive attitude toward ADs. However, they had little experience with ADs. Therefore, nurses' must develop both direct and indirect experience with ADs using a practical training program to strengthen their clinical competency regarding ADs.

  • The conceptual study of Accelerator Driven System (ADS) had lasted for about five years and ended in 1999 in China. As one project of 'the major state basic research program (973)' in energy domain, which is sponsored by the China Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), a five years program of basic research for ADS physics and related technology has been launched since 2000 and passed national review last month. CIAE (China Institute of Atomic Energy), IHEP (Institute of High Energy Physics), PKU-IHIP (Institute of Heavy Ion Physics in Peking University) and other institutions are jointly carrying on the research. The research activities are focused on HPPA physics and technology, reactor physics of external source driven sub-critical assembly, nuclear data base and material study. For HPPA, a high current injector consisting of an ECR ion source, LEBT and a RFQ accelerating structure of 3.5MeV has been built. In reactor physics study, a series of neutron multiplication experimental study has been carried out and is being carrying on. The VENUS facility has been constructed as the basic experimental platform for the neutronics study in ADS blanket. It's a zero power sub-critical neutron multiplying assembly driven by external neutron produced by a pulsed neutron generator. The theoretical, experimental and simulation study on nuclear data, material properties and nuclear fuel circulation related to ADS is carrying on to provide the database for ADS system analysis. The main results on ADS related researches will be reported.

  • This study is the selection of optimum forming condition for RP system using ADS. Program using ADS reduces the required time for feedback between design and manufacturing of workpiece. When we produce rapid prototype using RP system, we investigate the relationship between Facetres in system variable number of AutoCAD and circularity of rapid prototype, and we will find optimum forming condition in RP system.

  • As an alternative to solving safety, environments, and aging problems, ADS (Automated driving system) in the global automotive market is actively being developed as a new growth industry. In time for the appearance of ADS, relevant regulations and assessment programs must also be developed. For example, safety standards for the Level 3 automated driving system were promulgated in December 2019 by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korean government. However, assessment programs such as KNCAP for autonomous functions of ADS have not yet been introduced in Korea as well as globally. The autonomous driving functions of ADS at Level 3 or higher must be capable to recognize, judge and respond to objects and events in a wide variety of complex situations. In this paper, we examined and studied the complex situations, considerations and assessment items that ADS must respond to in the interest of safety for passengers, pedestrians and other road users. We hope this paper will be helpful to develop an execution program in the future.

MMT 기반 하이브리드 방송 환경에서의 중간 광고 삽입 방안 (Method of inserting In-program Ads in Hybrid Broadcasting Environment based on MMT)

  • 네트워크 기술이 발달함에 따라, 한류 등 특정 나라의 미디어 콘텐츠가 해당 나라뿐 아니라 세계적으로 소비되고 있다. 이와 같이, 동일한 콘텐츠가 다양한 국가의 방송환경에서 소비되는 경우, 방송되는 국가 및 지역적 환경 등에 적합한 중간 광고의 삽입 및 대체방안이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 이에 본 논문에서는 ATSC 3.0에서 차세대 방송표준으로 채택한 MMT를 기반으로 하여 하이브리드 방송 환경에서의 중간 광고 삽입 방안을 제안하였다. 제안한 방안은 MMT의 MPT message 및 MMT-CI를 이용하여 시그널링을 전달하고, 이에 따라 광고 데이터를 전송하는 방식으로 중간 광고를 삽입하는 것이다. 이를 검증하기 위해 본 논문에서는 MMT의 구조를 분석하고, 제안한 방안 검증 시스템을 설계하여 실험결과를 통해 제안한 중간 광고 삽입 방안을 검증하였다.

지상운영시험을 통한 ADS-B 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Benefits of Ground Operational Test using ADS-B in Tae-An Airport)

  • The ADS-B test is a program that is examining the use of ADS-B, especially CDTI for aircraft surveillance in Korea. The ADS-B project is to provide operational benefits to Air Traffic Controllers in the selected area and provide first operational experience of ADS-B in ATCS environment of South Korea. For these objectives, the ground station has installed in Tae-An airport, Participation in the Ground Test has been limited to 4 Aircraft of Hanseo University which are installed ADS-B equipment. Ground test is a test that is examining on the movement area of Tae-An Airport on the assumption that the visibility is below weather minia of the airport. This test have been experimented as pre-arranged scenarios. In view of the results achieved, it has shown that the volume of voice communication between controller and pilot are remarkably reduced. Additionally, as both pilots and air traffic controllers are able to see the positions of traffic in the vicinity of the aircraft, the test has demonstrated that it is possible for ADS-B not only to decline the controller's workload, but also to enhance pilot situational awareness in the near future.
