In this paper, we investigated the quench characteristics of HTSC elements in the integrated three-phase flux-lock type SFCL according to fault types such as the single-line-to-ground fault, the double-line-to-ground fault, the line-to-line fault and the three-line-to-ground fault. The integrated three-phase flux-lock type SFCL was the upgrade version of the single-phase flux-lock type SFCL. The structure of the integrated three-phase flux-lock type SFCL consisted of three-phase flux-lock reactor wound on an iron core with the ratio of the same turn between coil 1 and coil 2 in each phase. When the SFCL is operated under the normal condition, the flux generated in the iron core is zero because the flux generated between two coils of each single phase is canceled out. Therefore, the SFCL's impedance is zero, and the SFCL has negligible influence on the power system. However, if a fault occurs in any single-phase among three phases, the flux generated in the iron core is not zero any more. The flux makes HTSC elements of all phases quench irrespective of the fault type, which reduces the current of fault phase as well as the current of sound phase. It was observed that the fault current limiting characteristics of the suggested SFCL were dependent on the quench characteristics of HTSC elements in all three phases.
Phase unwrapping is an essential procedure for interferometric synthetic aperture radar techniques. Accordingly, a lot of phase unwrapping methods have been developed. Deep-learning-based unwrapping methods have recently been proposed. In this paper, we reviewed state-of-the-art deep-learning-based unwrapping approaches in terms of 1) the approaches to predicting unwrapped phases, 2) deep learning model structures for phase unwrapping, and 3) training data generation. The research trend of the approaches to predicting unwrapped phases was introduced by categorizing wrap count segmentation, phase jump classification, phase regression, and deep-learning-assisted method. We introduced the case studies of deep learning model structure for phase unwrapping, and model structure optimization to relate the overall phase information. In addition, we summarized the research trend of the training data generation approaches in the views of phase gradient and noise in the main. And the future direction in deep-learning-based phase unwrapping was presented. It is expected that this paper is used as guideline for exploring future direction of deep-learning-based phase unwrapping research in Korea.
Ceramide III was prepared by the cultivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Ceramide III was partitioned from the cell extracts by solvent extraction and analyzed by Normal Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography (NP-HPLC) using Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD). We experimentally determined the mobile phase composition to separate ceramide III with NP-HPLC. Three binary mobile phases of n-hexane/ethanol, n-hexane/lsoprophyl Alcohol(IPA) and n-hexane/n-butanol and one ternary mobile phase of n-hexane/IPA/methanol were demonstrated. For the binary mobile phase of n-hexane/ethanol, the first mobile phase composition, 95/5(v/v), was step-increased to 72/23(v/v) at 3 min. In the binary mobile phase, the retention time of ceramide III was 7.87min, while it was 4.11 min respectively in the ternary system, where the mobile phase composition of n-hexane/IPA/methanol, 85/7/8(v/v/v), was step-increased to 75/10/15(v/v/v) at 3 min. However, in the ternary mobile phase, the more peak area of ceramide III was observed.
A current balance problem exists in multi-phase LLC converters due to the resonant parameter tolerance. This paper presents a current balancing method for interleaved three-phase half bridge LLC converters. This method regulates the phase shift angle of the driving signals between the three phases based on a converter with a floating Y-connection. The floating midpoint voltage has different influences on each phase current and makes the three-phase current balance performance better than midpoint non-floating systems. Phase shift control between modules can further regulate the midpoint voltage. Then three phase current sharing is realized without adding extra components. The current distributions in a midpoint non-floating system and a midpoint floating system are compared. Then the principle and implementation of the proposed control strategy are analyzed in detail. A 3kW prototype is built to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
The single phase switched reluctance motor(SRM) is more simpler and robust in the structure than poly phase SRM. It has the merits that it reduces the switching elements and the energy density per volume is very high. Recently, it has been researched and developed in various types and starting method due to the technique of power electronics and the computer added design. The single phase SRM is tried to apply to many industrial appliance field to substitutethe the induction motor by the single phase SRM. On the previous studies, we decided the design parameters of the single phase SRM for the blower driver to adapt the design method of the conventional machine and the poly phase SRM. In this studies, it is proposed the conditions to decide the optimal pole arcs because the stator and rotor pole arcs is very important in the characteristics of the single phase SRM. For this reason, it is analysed the characteristics of current on/off angle vs. pole arc, pole arcs vs. average torque.

A reliable fault phase selection algorithm plays a very important role in transmission line protection, Particularly in Extra High Voltage (EHV) networks. The conventional fault phase selection algorithm used the phase difference between positive and negative sequence current excluding load current. But, it is difficult to pick out only fault current since we can not know when a fault occurs and select the fault phase in weak-infeed conditions that dominate zero-sequence current in phase current. The proposed algorithm can select the accurately fault phase using the sum of unit vectors which are calculated by positive-sequence voltage and negative-sequence voltage.
We examine phase transition of the spin density wave and $\pi$ phase shifted superconductivity in the Fe pnictide superconductors. The phase diagram is described in the plane of the temperature T and the doping x with the combination of Ginzburg-Landau expansion of the free energy near the multi-critical temperature $T_c$ and the self-consistent numerical iterations of the gap equations. The phase separation or coexistence is determined by computing the 4-th order terms of the free energy which is confirmed by the numerical calculations. We can show the phase coexistence when the spin density wave is incommensurate. And the first order phase transition is observed near the boundary between commensurate and incommensurate spin density wave.

In this paper, we have described and simulated the effect analysis and correction of phase errors in the SAR rawdata induced by satellite attitude errors such as drift, jitter. This simulation is based on the FSA(Frequency Scaling Algorithm) for high resolution image formation of the Spotlight SAR. Phase errors produce the degradation of SAR image quality such as loss of resolution, geometric distortion, loss of contrast, spurious targets, and decrease in SNR. To resolve this problem, this paper presents method for correction of phase errors using the PGA(Phase Gradient Algorithm) in connection with the FSA. Several results of the phase errors correction are presented for Spotlight SAR rawdata.

This paper proposes an economical method that the phase currents can be measured and reconstructed by means of the leg-shunt resistors in the 3-leg 2-phase vector-controlled inverter for 2-phase induction motor. In general, the phase currents of 2-phase induction motor have been measured using two Hall current sensors. However, because Hall current sensors are expensive, economically disadvantageous to apply in low power applications. The proposed method is verified by computer simulations and experiments to show the good performance of the vector control.
