Voice Message System Supporting Massive Outbound Call (대량의 발신 호를 지원하는 음성 메시지 시스템)

  • In this paper, new voice message system supporting massive outbound call is proposed. Basic idea of the proposed system is to pre-process all the text-to-speech conversion process, mixing of text and attached music file and to store the results of pre-process in the cache server which is connected to the IVR. New voice message system is optimized for the voice message system supporting massive outbound call by distributing the load of the web server caused by server-side script implementation which is accessing database and generating dynamic Voice XML document over client module and server module of web server. The proposed voice message system was test-deployed in one domestic voice message application service provider and it is shown that proposed voice message system reduced the response latency problem of test-bed voice message system.

  • The combination of information and technology makes dramatically increase both information quality and quantity. Almost of company utilize customer information for the purpose of increasing sales amount and profitability. The purpose of this paper is to discover customer information's utilization practices in the Korean financial industry. The case of K Bank's information analysis in the inbound and outbound marketing is provided, The customer segmentation is used for the inbound marketing by using RFM analysis. And the loan card model is used for the outbound marketing by using logit analysis.

  • ICMP(Internet Control Message Protocol) is a main protocol in TCP/IP protocol stack. ICMP compensates the disadvantages of the IP that does not support error reporting. If any transmission problem occurred, a router or receiving host sends ICMP message containing the error cause to sending host. However, in this process, an attacker sends a fake ICMP messages to the host so that the communication can be terminated abnormally. An attacker host can paralyzes system of victim host by sending a large number of messages to the victim host at a high rate of speed. To solve this problem, we have designed and implemented outbound traffic controller that prevents various ICMP attacks. By preventing the transmission of attack messages in different ways according to each case, various network attacks can be prevented. In addition, unnecessary network traffic can be filtered before transmitted.

Analysis on the Pattern of Inbound and Outbound Tourism and Their Receipts and Expenditures in Korea (우리나라 내외국인 관광규모 및 경비지출 형태 분석)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the pattern of inbound and outbound tourism and their receipts and expenditures in Korea, and wishes to suggest a policy implication. The finding in this research indicates that inbound tourism is mainly influenced by a relative income, while the receipts are effected not only by a scale of tourism, relative price, relative income, but also by the exchange rate. Outbound tourism and the expenditures are tentatively determined by a set of information which is synthetically made up by an economic factors. To this end, it could be concluded that tourism policy should be elaborately established to take of the inbound tourism, and appropriately designed information networking system for tourism would be helpful to assist the outbound tourism.

  • Service part has the attribute causing a difficulty of the systematic management like a kind of diversity, uncertainty of demand, high request for quick response against general complete product. Especially, order picking is recognized as the most important work in the warehouse of the parts since inbound cycle of the service part long but outbound cycle is relatively short. But, increasing work efficiency in the warehouse has a limitation that cycle, frequency and quantity for the outbound request depend on the inherent features of the part. Through this research, not only are the types of the parts classified with the various and specified data but also the method is presented that it minimizes (that) the whole distances of the order picking and store location about both inbound and outbound by developing the model of the demand prediction. Based on this study, I expect that all of the work efficiency and the space utilization will be improved without a change of the inbound and outbound quantity in the warehouse.

  • This article is focused to examine the influence of relationship between additional costs and repurchase in the outbound package tourists regard to the role of the personal service and brand. It is analysed that the additional costs don't have an effect on the repurchase. And also there is no relationship between repurchase and personal service for the tourists. However the role of the brand plays a mediated effect in repurchase in the outbound markets. Nonetheless the manager and contact employee of travel agents have an attention to the personal service quality and brand as well.

  • Recently, the rapid development of internet and information technology has led to rapid changes in many industries. One of the most rapidly developing industries is the call centers. Almost all public institutions, financial institutions including insurance companies, and shopping malls, many call center staffs are proceeding with the consultation. However, lack of call center staffs is leading to a lot of customers complaints. The function of outbound call centers such as promotion and sale of products is also arising some problems due to insufficient number of consulting staffs. In this study, we propose the call center model for maximizing the rate of call connection time and suggest the best way of call centers model to be the channel distributions using the data mining techniques.

  • Outbound market is a rapidly growing global industry, and has evolved into a 11 trillion won trade. A lot of recommender systems, which are based on collaborative and content filtering, target the existing purchase log or rely on studies based on similarity of products. These researches are not highly efficient as data was not obtained in advance, and acquiring the overwhelming amount of data has been relatively slow. The characteristics of an outbound product are that it should be purchased at least twice in a year, and its pricing should be in the higher category. Since the repetitive purchase of a product is rare for the outbound market, the old recommender system which profiles the existing customers is lacking, and has some limitations. Therefore, due to the scarcity of data, we suggest an improved customer-profiling method using web usage mining, algorithm of association rule, and rule-based algorithm, for faster recommender system of outbound product.

  • Studies have shown that the future of the wine market rests on the effective and efficient changes in technology to the supply chain used by most of the major global players. In today's wine industry, companies are faced with the ever-shifting demand for their products, strict regulation and increasing price competition. Even at that, mature companies in the wine industry are succeeding by scaling up production, streamlining their supply chains, expanding into new geographic areas, implementing more efficient processes, cleverly marketing products, and focusing on ever closer relationships with suppliers, partners and customers. However, this paper looks at supply chain challenges in the wine industry from a global perspective presented in the inbound, manufacturing and outbound processes as well as offer effective solutions in order for companies to gain a competitive advantage and succeed on a global level.

  • One of the important tactical problems for the efficient operation of container terminals is to determine the usage of storage space There are two different strategies for stacking containers; mixing strategy. in which outbound containers and inbound containers are mixed in the same block. and segregating strategy, in which outbound containers and inbound containers are stacked in blocks different from each other. The performance of space allocation strategies also depends on the types of handling equipment in the yard and the number of handling equipment allocated to each block. A simulation model is developed considering various handling characteristics of yard cranes. Performances of various space and equipment allocation strategies are evaluated by using the simulation model.
