국내 건설 재교육 현황 분석을 통한 개선방안 (Improvement of Domestic Construction Re-Education through Status Analysis)

  • 과거 국내 건설산업은 인력의 양적인 투자가 주를 이루었지만, 최근 들어 건설시장에서 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 실무자를 대상으로 질적인 투자가 필요 하다는 의견이 제기되고 있다. 이를 위하여 다수의 건설업 실무자를 대상으로 재교육을 실시하고 있지만, 단기교육, 경력관리 부재 등의 문제로 인하여 현행 재교육의 효율성에 대한 부정적인 인식이 높은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 건설 재교육의 질적인 향상을 위하여, 현재 수행되고 있는 재교육의 문제점을 도출하고 이에 대한 개선방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 2개의 핵심 문제점을 도출하였다. AHP 분석을 통해 도출된 문제점들에 대한 개선방안으로 'NCS/CDP 기반 통합교육프로그램 운영'을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 개선방안 및 예시를 통하여 건설 재교육의 질적향상과 실무자들의 역량을 지속적으로 관리할 수 있는 체계를 구축할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다

간호대학생을 위한 공감교육 프로그램이 공감능력, 대인관계 능력 및 돌봄에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Empathy Education Program on Nursing Students' Empathy Ability, Interpersonal Ability, and Caring)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effects of an empathy education program for undergraduate nursing students. Methods: The study employed a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 46 nursing students were voluntarily recruited by convenience sampling from senior nursing students from the nursing department of K college in I city, Korea. Participants were divided into two groups, an experimental group of 23 and a control group of 23. The experimental intervention (empathy education program) was conducted from April 19 to May 6, 2016 and consisted of 150-minute sessions, twice a week, for 3 weeks for a total of 15 hours. Results: Participants demonstrated improvements in perspective taking in cognitive empathy, improved empathic concern in emotional empathy, and improved communicative empathy. Analysis of reflective writings identified four theme clusters regarding communicative empathy: improvement of empathic expression, experiencing comfort and healing, improvement of interpersonal relationships, and experience of conflict resolution. Improved interpersonal ability and caring were also identified. Conclusion: The empathy education program improved cognitive, emotional and communicative empathy, and interpersonal skills and care, which are all necessary qualities for nurses.

병원간호사의 당뇨병고위험군 지식, 교육수행과 기대 (Hospital Nurses' Pre-diabetes Knowledge, Performance and Expectation of Patient Education)

  • Purpose: This study attempted to describe hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge, performance and expectation of patient. Methods: The total of 204 hospital nurses were administered the questionnaires. The questionnaire comprises general background information (including sex, age, religion, education and career), ten researcher-generated questions regarding knowledge about pre-diabetes, performance of patient education (including how many people encounter in workplace, how often teaching, how many minutes required to teach and course contents) and expectation (including need improvement of teaching, barrier to education and desirable course contents and teaching methods) Results: The average score of hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge was as low as 0.82 (82% correctness). On comparison of the knowledge levels among ten pre-diabetes knowledge dimensions, the highest score was 0.95 for necessary of medical check-up. The lowest score was 0.57 for complication can rarely happen. Significant correlations were observed for education, career and knowledge regarding pre-diabetes. Moreover, 49.5% of the nurses did not instruct patients about pre-diabetes, 24.5% taught prevention skills to a third of the pre-diabetes patients they encountered, and 61.2% nurses disseminated information under 5 minutes. Improvement was necessary for 78 nurses (75.8%). Conclusion: Pre-diabetes awareness among nurses is necessary.

대학교 설계교육 기초과정 구성에 관한 연구 - 독일대학교 건축학 전공 교과과정 구성 사례 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Curriculum of Introductory Architectural Design - Focusing on a Curriculum Analysis of University Architecture Program in Germany -)

  • Since 2002, the market opening of architecture design, reformation efforts and corresponding studies on architectural education system in Korea have been made to meet the standards of international recognition and accreditation. As a result, the importance of design in architecture program has been recognised and reflected on the reformations on the curriculum by increasing hours in design courses, for instance. At the same time, much need is demanded on the qualitative improvement on architectural design education, both on its contents and structure. In addition, the current reformational changes on architectural education in Korea have their bases on the performance evaluation criteria of National Architectural Accrediting Board of America. To improve the quality of architectural program accounting the unique cultural and social requirements of Korea, various perspectives from other countries, besides American system, are needed to be considered and studied for the on-going reformations in architectural education. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the current on-going reformation efforts on the improvement of architectural design education. The study will closely examine the current architectural curriculum in German university and provide a systematic program for introductory architectural design curriculum.

과학교육과의 교육과정과 운영에 대한 모델 개발 (Development of Model for Curriculum and Operation of Department of Science Education)

  • As long as there is education, there will be teacher education. This statement implies that science education is the first step for the improvement of science education of the secondary schools. And science education must reflect an everchanging reality of scientific, technological, and social changes. However there have been problems in the curiculum and its operation for science teacher education. Therefore this research has its objectives to: 1) investigate the current goals of science education in the Korean secondary schools. 2) analyze the quality' and Knowledge required for science teacher to achieve the goals. 3) investigate the status and problems of science teacher education in korea and foreign countries. 4) develop a model for curriculum and its operation for desirable science teacher education. As a result of the study, a model for curriculum is described and the summary of the results of the study and suggestions for operation of the model are followed.

  • 이러닝을 활용한 원격교육은 평생교육의 측면에서 교육의 내용과 방법에 대한 선택의 다양성을 제공하고 있다. 양질의 콘텐츠와 이를 운영하는 학습관리시스템의 효과적 운영은 원격교육의 효과성을 높이는 중요한 요인이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 원격교육의 질을 높이는 데 필요한 학습관리시스템의 현황을 분석하였다. 현황 분석과 함께 원격교육의 학습관리시스템 기능에 대해 델파이를 통해 전문가의 의견을 수렴하였다. 전문가 의견 수렴을 토대로 본 연구는 원격교육의 효과성을 높일 수 있는 학습관리시스템에 필요한 기능을 제안하였다.

연세대학교 의과대학 학습공동체 교육과정 개발 및 운영 분석 (Development and Implementation of a Learning Community in the Curriculum for Undergraduate Medical Students)

  • Learning communities in medical education have demonstrated favorable outcomes in terms of students' learning, professional development, and wellness. Despite these strengths and the widespread adoption of learning communities in US medical schools, there has been little interest in medical learning communities in Korea. In this context, the present study examined the development and implementation of the Yonsei Medical Learning Community (YMLC) and analyzed its outcomes and areas of improvement. The Yonsei University College of Medicine has operated a learning community as part of the undergraduate medical education curriculum since 2014. The YMLC is the first program of its type in Korea. The overall structure of the YMLC consists of four distinct communities (pillars), which are named after four distinguished alumni, and each pillar is organized into five learning community classes. Each class is vertically integrated across students in different medical school years, and one faculty advisor is matched to about 30 students. As the YMLC focuses on fostering reflective practice in students and providing them with opportunities to build teamwork and experience social relatedness, two educational approaches have been adopted: reflective writing and mentoring and community activities. In this study, we obtained and analyzed second-year students' feedback on the YMLC curriculum and identified its achievements, merits, and areas that need improvement. The results have shown that over 75% and 60% of respondents reported satisfaction with reflective writing and mentoring and community activities, respectively. The educational activities of the learning community helped students regularly reflect on their learning and progress and establish close relationships with faculty advisors. However, several areas of improvement regarding content, format, and logistical issues were also identified. The present findings may provide valuable information for other institutions to develop learning communities relevant to their own context.

  • The curriculum system and documentation for advanced general education, MSC (Mathematics, Basic Science, Computer Science), and engineering-design courses have been developed to improve the education of advanced undergraduate students in engineering and technology at Chosun University. In this paper, to obtain improved quality of engineering courses, we systemized the education of engineering and technology, which could be designed as the education satisfying students and provide awards for high-quality performance, through efficient management of education courses and establishment of basic and professional courses. In addition, by applying evaluation to the engineering courses and using the model of continuous quality improvement, we could achieve a high-quality education system for the engineering and technology courses.

e-PBL을 활용한 과학 독서 논술 프로그램이 초등과학영재의 창의성 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과 (The effect of e-PBL based Scientific Writing Program for the Science Gifted Children on Creativity and Scientific Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the science gifted children's creativity and scientific attitude development by e-PBL based scientific writing program. This program is composed of 4 instructions (13 hours), and its learning contents are made up to guide reading the related science books and understanding the contents through mind map to find out a solution by themselves, also, making an independent problem into group issue and setting up the plan for solution through small group cooperative learning, finally, performing activities like writing, presentation, evaluation and discussion according to the plan for solution. To examine the effect of creativity and scientific attitude by the program, 40 students of elementary science gifted children group in the Busan national university of education were selected for an experimental group. The review result is that, Firstly, the program affected positively creativity improvement of elementary science gifted children, Secondly, the program affects positively scientific attitude improvement of them as well. In conclusion, the program affects positively their creativity and scientific attitude.

수산·해운전문계열 교사자격증 표시과목 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on Improvement for Indication Subject of Fisheries and Maritime High School Teacher's Certificate)

  • The purpose of this research was made to suggest the improvement for problems of indication subject of Fisheries & Maritime High School teacher's certificate issued by the operation of the 7th national curriculum in 2000. After analyzing the integrated indication subjects related with fisheries & Maritime high school, among the middle school teacher's 24 subjects of industrial world, the problems and improvements can be arranged as followed. Firstly, the subjects of fisheries & Maritime high school teacher's certificates are fishing industry, aquiculture, sailing, engine and freezing and new subjects are ocean shipping and ocean logistics. Because the teacher's certificate was changed to integrated indication subjects, there were problems of teacher cultivation, teacher hiring, etc. So, in the actual field of school, teacher cultivating university and related department are necessary to strengthen high-quality majoring education/subjects and practical education as well as need to establish teacher cultivating system by teacher cultivating organization's evaluation system and teacher cultivating education program related by differentiation and easiness of majoring characterization. Secondly, teacher cultivating for new departments and new subjects can apply related major system, free major system, etc. Thirdly, if professional high schools find majoring areas whose content is same one another and introduce common indication subject system, it will be helpful to improve the quality of teachers, teacher certification examination, etc. of professional area.
