In this paper, fuzzy-neural network is proposed to identify the Activated Sludge Process(A.S.P) in sewage treatment such as "IF-THEN" type fuzzy rules and using various learning methods and improved complex method, the performance index of the identified model is improved. The proposed FNN has the neural network structure of which the connection weights have particular meanings for obtaining fuzzy inference rules and for tuning membership functions. And based on the identified model, graphic simulator which can analize nonlinear characteristics of A.S.P and generate control strategy for A.S.P is being developed.developed.

This paper proposes a blind channel estimation scheme for long code direct sequence code division multiple access (DS­CDMA) systems with multipath fading channels. This scheme combines the advantages of Toeplitz displacement and correlation matching methods to achieve improved performance. The basic idea is to remove the effects of noise and interferences with Toeplitz displacement operation and then estimate the multi path channel parameters with the correlation matching method. Simulation results are presented to show that the proposed scheme provides better MSE performance and robustness against the near-far problem.

We propose the improved threshold current ratio method to determine the reflectivity of coated facets. The carrier recombination time used in the improved threshold current ratio method depends on the value of facet reflectivities. However, the carrier recombination time used in the conventional threshold current ratio method is constant regardless of facet reflectivities. The difference between the results of the two methods increases as the reflectivity of a coated facet decreases.

This study were performed to investigated the behavior of excessive pore water pressure with embankment of soft clay. The dissipation behavior of excessive pore water pressure in the improved and non-improved area was used to compare and alyze with lateral displacement , and to investigated the applicability of the methods for stability evaluatio of soft clay. The behavior of excess pore water pressure could be used to the fundamental data for stability evaluation, and the evaluation of the stability of embankment was recommended to use the indlination of curve rather than critical line.

Large area flicker is one of the most annoying image defects, and it is an inherent characteristic of impulsively driven displays such as CRTs. Recently, LCDs have also adopted impulsive driving methods for improved motion picture quality, therefore LCDs can also show large area flicker. Existing metrics do not account for the non-linearity of human brightness perception. This paper presents an improved large area flicker metric to more accurately quantify large area display flicker performance.

There are two methods of load balancing for detail scheduling : One method is to generate an initial schedule and obtain an improved final schedule by load balancing only during a specific period. The other method is to generate an initial schedule and obtain an improved schedule by load balancing from current date(TIMENOW) to unlimited time with the whole manufacturing processes. This paper proposes an algorithm for detail scheduling which can be a practical solution in job shop production or project job type by applying the former method.

Image Hash specifies as a descriptor that can be used to measure similarity in images. Among all image Hash methods, histogram based image Hash has robustness to common noise-like operation and various geometric except histogram _equalization. In this_paper an improved histogram based Image Hash that is using "Imadjust" filter I together is proposed. This paper has achieved a satisfactory performance level on histogram equalization as well as geometric deformation.

Objective: Case report of improvement in muscle pain, insomnia, and depression in a breast cancer patient using Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy. Methods: A Korean woman in her 50s was diagnosed with breast cancer. After being diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, her quality of life has greatly deteriorated due to the side effects of the drugs administered. Results: Symptoms of insomnia and muscle pain improved after nutritional therapy. Conclusion: Applying nutritional therapy to patients with the aforementioned condition can help alleviate symptoms.

Objective: Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy (OCNT) Experiential treatment for Breast Cancer, lymphedema Patients Methods: The patient is a Korean woman aged 50 years. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, the right lymph node was removed, resulting in lymphedema and pain. Results: After nutritional therapy, lymphedema improved. Conclusion: The patient's lymphedema improved, and she regained her daily vitality.

After being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, her quality of life has greatly deteriorated due to the side effects of the drugs administered. Results: Improved joint pain and bleeding gums after OCNT Conclusion: The application of OCNT to patients with above problem can help improve symptoms.
