  • Currently, it is increasing the importance of floor impact sound performance in apartment building due to users' various needs for comfortable residential environments. However, there are little data on floor impact sound performance because Korean apartment building floor is an ON-DOL which is made of several elements. In this study, floor impact sound performance according to variation of floor construction method were investigated. And based on these investigated results, datas can be used to supply constructor and comsumer basis data to estimate floor impact sound performance

  • The research examines the impacts of empowering leadership on teamwork performance of the employees in sales departments at commercial banks in Vietnam. Based on the data from the sample survey of 406 employees in sales departments of commercial banks in Vietnam, the paper uses various types of statistical methods and assesses the reliability of scales with Cronbach's Alpha, Confirmatory Factor Analysis as well as Structural Equation Modeling for analysis. The results show that the Empowering Leadership factor has a directly positive impact on Knowledge Sharing and Teamwork Performance, which means when the Empowering Leadership is positive, the Knowledge Sharing and Teamwork Performance will increase. In addition, Empowering Leadership also has an indirect impact on Teamwork Performance through Knowledge Sharing factor, which means when the Empowering Leadership is positive, the Teamwork Performance will increase. Moreover, Knowledge Sharing factor has a directly positive impact on Teamwork Performance, which means when the Knowledge Sharing factor is positive, the Teamwork Performance will increase. The findings suggest that Empowering Leadership has both directly and indirectly positive influence on Teamwork Performance. Moreover, Empowering leadership has a directly positive impact on Knowledge-sharing while Knowledge-sharing has a directly positive impact on Teamwork Performance of sales departments of commercial banks in Vietnam.

  • In the previous test, the verification of the standard floor impact source was carried out comparing the physical characteristics with living impact sources. The result was appeared the validation of the standard impact source was very low because of differences of physical characteristics. This study aims to evaluate annoyance and loudness of standard impact source which is used for the measurement of floor impact sound, and to compare the annoyance and loudness of living impact sources which are produced in real life. The impact sources considered are tapping machine, tire and impact ball as standard sources, and nine real sources which were chosen from the existing researches. The result showed differences of annoyance and loudness between standard impact sources and living impact sources, which means the standard impact sources may rate the performance of floor system inappropriately. In the future, the rating method should be examined how the standard impact sources are similar with real sources in the point of rating the performance of floor system.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the impact resistant performance of steel short fiber-reinforced cement based composites (SFRCCs) containing 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0% volume fraction of steel short fibers subjected to high velocity impact of steel projectile (the diameter of 19.05mm and the mass of 28.13g). The gunpowder impact facility was used for impact tests, and the impact velocity was from about 350 to 700m/s. The specimens were damaged in various failure modes, which are penetration, scabbing, and perforation. Comparing with Plain specimen, SFRCCs have superior capacity on the scabbing limit, and slightly bulged in the back side under the impact velocity of 700m/s. In addition, the impact resistant performance of SFRCCs improved with increase of steel short fiber volume ratio. The fibers play an important role in controlling the local damage of SFRCCs.

  • In line with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, project performance such as construction productivity and safety is being improved through the use of various smart technologies in construction projects. However, most studies focus on case analysis according to technology application, and research on performance impact and evaluation methods is insufficient. However, the performance impact of the use of smart construction technology can vary greatly depending on the capabilities and level of support of the organization using the technology. Therefore, this study aims to establish factors that affect the performance of smart construction technology utilization at the organizational level and analyze the performance impact relationship. The results of this study will provide the basis for establishing an organizational system and evaluating performance for the efficient use of smart construction technology in the future.

  • This study was carried out in the laboratory of the reverberation. A total of six specimens were fabricated depending on the thickness and strength. Floor impact sound insulation performance was measured in 1/3 octave band center frequency. The results of this study are as follows. Although some differences in the frequency band, the result of evaluating the weight impact sound blocking performance as the thickness increases, the floor impact sound insulation performance is improved. In addition, to increase the strength of the slab, even if the block impact sound performance is improved.

  • Many Korean banks and companies have adopted EDI to replace traditioanal paper documents by electronic ones, which can move much faster with greater accuracy, Also, it is expected to reduce overall costs and maintain good relationships with customers. However, in practice, the performance of EDI seems to be less than expected. The purpose of this paper is to identify the impact of environment and adoption factors on the performance of financial EDI. We proposed a model for the relationships based on the existing literature and peformed a survey of Korean commercial banks and companies using KTNET. The results of this study are as follows: First, the business environment represented by the size of companies and the frequency of transactions showed a negative impact on the performance in terms of efficiency, which is quite converse to the common belief. Second, the technical environment, including computing skills of users and operators, showed a positive impact on the performance in terms of effectiveness. Third, the clearer the adoption purpose, the higher is the performace as intended, while the initiative for the adoption process showed no significant impact.

  • We constructed ceiling structure and floor structure for elevation of sound insulation performance of concrete slab of apartment house. And, we wished to measure heavy floor impact sound level and light floor impact sound level of these structure. As the result, light floor impact sound level interception performance of concrete slab was measured by thing that construction work of gypsum baud is important. Heavy floor impact sound level interception performance was measured by thing that it is effective that construct to thickness about 30 millimeters on concrete Slav. It was measured effectively that heavy floor impact sound level interception performance constructs rubber chip to thickness about 30 millimeters on concrete Slav.

  • This study explores and selects an appropriate material that considers light and soft physical properties as well as activity for impact absorption pads that can be used to develop practical impact protective clothes worn during daily life by the elderly to reduce the impact of falls. Physical properties, impact absorption performance, and compression characteristics were evaluated on 5 types of foam, 2 types of 3D spacer fabric, and 3 types of polymer gel to select a material appropriate for the pad to be inserted into impact protective clothes. The evaluation of the physical properties showed that 3D spacer fabrics had lower density compared to other materials and polymer gels had the highest density. The elongation percentage was higher in foams than 3D spacer fabrics and EPDM foam had the highest elongation percentage. The impact absorption performance of honeycomb polymer gel was better than foams and 3D spacer fabrics. As a result of looking into compression energy and compression characteristics of materials, 'CR foam A' was found to absorb the largest amount of compression energy, 24.1%, among foams and polymer gels. A high energy absorption rate of 50.0% (or above) was indicated by 3D spacer fabrics; however, foams and polymer gels showed a progressive deformation of energy compression / recovery curve with 3D spacer fabrics that showed drastic deformation. Based on characteristics of materials, 'CR foam C' and EPDM with relatively high absorption performance can be used as protective pad materials among foams. Among polymer gels, 2 open-type polymer gels that have relatively low impact protective performance but a relatively lighter weight on human body (compared to closed-type) are considered appropriate protective pad materials.
