영상처리기술을 이용한 구조물의 변위 측정 시스템의 개발 (Development of Displacement Measurement System of Structures Using Image Processing Techniques)

  • In this paper, we develop the displacement measurement system of multiple moving objects based on image processing techniques. The image processing method adopts inertia moment theory for obtaining the centroid measurement of the targets and basic processing algorithm of gray, binary, closing, labeling and so on. To get precise displacement measurement in spite of multiple moving targets, a CGD camera with zoom is used and the position of camera is changed by a pan/tilt system. The fiducial marks on the fixed positions are used as the sensing points for the image processing to recognize the position errors in direction of XY-coordinates. The precise alignment device is pan/tilt of XY-type and the pan/tilt is controlled by DC servomotors which are driven by a microprocessor. Morover, the centers of fiducial marks are obtainted by an inertia moment method. By applying the developed precise position control system for multiple targets, the displacement of multiple moving targets are detected automatically and are also stored in the database system in a real time. By using database system and internet, the displacement datum can be confirmed at a great distance and analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of developed system is shown in experimental results and realized the precision about 0.12[mm] in the position control of XY-coordinates.

  • In this paper, we suggest an algorithm for the automatic measurement of concentricity and roundness using image processing technique. From the experimental results, we could find that the required measurement accuracy specification is sufficiently satisfied using our proposed method.

위탁급식 전문업체 브랜드이미지 척도 개발 (Scale Development for Measuring the Brand Images of Contract Foodservice Management Companies)

  • The aim of this study was to measure the brand images of contract foodservice management companies by identifying brand image attributes and then developing a measurement scale to measure the weight of these attributes. The measurement scale was developed by following a 5-stage process that included face-to-face interviews with experts, literature review, questionnaire surveys, verification of scale validity, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. A total of 137 items measuring brand image were collected: 37 items from studies of brand image and corporate image, 55 items from studies of contract foodservice management companies and 45 items from the internet and websites of contract foodservice management companies. A survey was then conducted to assess the validity and reliability of the questionnaire items. Ultimately, the 137 items were reduced to 40 items. The calculated Cronbach's alpha for the 40 brand image items was 0.934, demonstrating good internal consistency. Based on exploratory factor analysis (EFA), employee attitude, menu content, corporate image, dining location and ambience, along with 33 subattributes, were identified as brand image attributes. Employee attitude was the most significant attribute influencing brand image. After confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and a review process, four brand image attributes and 33 subattributes were finalized and incorporated into the scale.

  • The on-orbit MTF for the electro-optical camera (EOC) of the KOMPSAT I was calculated from sampled image of edge target. The image derived MTF values are smaller than ground measurement values but meet original requirements of EOC. The MTF from MTF compensated image was larger than and ground measurement result.

  • This paper presents an image processing method for two dimensional position measurement of a floating structure. This method is based on image processing technique using concept of window and threshold processing to track the target object. The experimental results for position measurement of the target object in two dimensional water tank demonstrate the validity of this method.

  • Page-oriented holographic data storage (HDS) is very sensitive to the tilt error. Therefore, tilt error should be measured and compensated. Especially, mechanical tilt measurement method cannot cope with tilt error measurement because photopolymer medium has shrinkage problem. Therefore, the method to solve this problem is using the reconstructed image which can represent both tilt and shrinkage effect. In this paper, we suggest disc tilt measurement algorithm using image pattern of retrieval data.

  • This paper presents a computer image processing system, which measures the thickness of the ALC block and inspects the defect on a real-time basis. The Image processing system was established with a CCD camera, an image grabber, and a personal computer without using assembled measurement equipment. The image obtained by the system was analyzed by a devised algorithm, specially designed for the enhanced measurement accuracy. For the realization of proposed algorithm, the pre-processing method that can be applied to overcome uneven lighting environment, and threshold decision method, and subpixel method are developed. from the experimental results, we could find that the required measurement accuracy specification is sufficiently satisfied using our proposed method.

  • A thinning algorithm -based image analysis technique was developed to measure corn root lengths. The root length measurement method was evaluated by comparing thread lengths measured by the image analysis system with actual thread lengths. The length measurement method accurately estimated actual thread lengths (less than 2% calculated error). Also, a rapid root length density measurement procedure, which utilizes the above root length measurement method, was developed to estimate corn root length density without washing the roots. Root length densities estimated from the cut soil surface of core samples taken from the field were paired with the root length densities determined from washed roots from the same soil core sample. A linear relationship between these two values was expected and was found. Eliminating the root washing procedure reduces the time required for measuring corn root length density substantially.

  • Image retention is a kind of fatal shortcoming of the AC PDPs for realizing high-quality picture. In this work, the measurement method of image retention was proposed using temporal measurement of luminance, CIEXYZ tristimulus values, IR emission of reset pulse, and temperaturel. On the base of temporal measurement of luminance, CIEXYZ tristimulus value, and IR emission of reset pulse, the retention time of Ne+5%Xe gas-mixture discharge was about 2 hours after white window image. However, it was about 20 minute on the base of temporal measurement of temperature.

  • 건축 구조물의 상대적인 변위 계측을 위하여 2메가 픽셀 Full HD(FHD) 해상도의 카메라와 디지털 영상상관(DIC, Digital Image Correlation) 플랫폼을 설계하고, 계측에 영향을 주는 영상 품질을 분석하였다. DIC 플랫폼은 Freescale사의 I.MX6를 기반으로 설계하였다. 영상 상관을 이용한 계측은 영상의 품질에 따라 계측 정밀도에 영향을 줄 수 있는데, 이러한 영상 품질 요인으로 영상의 밝기(brightness), 대조(contrast), 신호대 잡음비(SNR, Signal to Noise Ratio)를 분석하였다. 관심 영역(ROI, Region Of Interest)으로 설정한 부분에서 추출한 영상을 기준 영상으로 삼고, 일정 시간 경과 후 디지털 영상 상관(DIC)을 이용하여 기준 영상의 이동을 화소 및 부화소 단위로 추적 계산하여 변위를 측정하였다. 더불어 DIC 기반의 비접촉 원격 계측의 유효성을 파악하기 위하여 25m, 35m, 50m의 계측 거리에서, 영상 품질 요인 및 ROI 의 크기를 조정하여 측정을 하고 정밀도를 분석하였다.
