The purpose of this paper is to construct a system that matches the patient's image disease information with the medical image viewer in providing the medical image information to the medical staff. Currently, medical image information systems that are commercialized mostly provide only one image viewer with various image information of diseases or use incompatible exclusive viewers. For this reason, we designed and implemented a medical image information viewer matching system that integrates and provides specialized viewers that can be selected by diseases' image information. That is, it is a system to match and view medical image viewers based on disease information extracted from tag information stored as the metadata in DICOM file, which is medical image information standard, for disease-specific viewer matching. We analyzed the execution performances through our retrieval service of medical image information from our implementation system, and showed compatibility and control with various viewers.
A three dimensional fractal coding with a perceptually enhanced matching is proposed. Since most of medical images (e.g. computed tomography or magnetic resonance image) have three dimensional character, the searching region is extended to adjacent slices. For perceptually enhanced matching, a high frequency booster filter is used for prefiltering of the original image, and the least mean square error matching is applied to this edge enhanced image rather than the original image. From the simulation with the magnetic resonance images ($255{\times}255$, 8bits/pixel). the proposed algorithm provides excellent image quality with compression rations higher than 10. Compared to existing fractal coding the algorithm also provides better subjective image quality with higher compression ratio.
This paper suggested that medical image database construction technique that generated and recognized from variable medical device and professional medical experts for the formalization and pattern extraction from informal medical images. And then we transformed informal image characteristics to digital data, and generated the meaningful pattern matching informations. Through this experienced works, so many related researchers can easily access the medical images database and use this formalized image informations on the variable fields.
We develop an automatic imaging matching technique for combining portal image and simulator image for improvements in localization of treatment in radiation therapy. Fusion of images from two imaging modalities is treated as follows. We archive images thxough a frame-yabber. The simulator and portal images are edge detected and enhanced with interpolated adaptive histouam equalization and combined using geometrical parameters relating the coordinates of two image data sets which are calculated using Fourier descriptors. We don't use any kind of imaging markers for patient's convenience. clinical use of this image matching technique for treatment planning will result in improvements in localization of treatment volumes and critical structures. These improvements will allow greater sparing of normal tissues and more precise delivery of energy to the desired irradiation volume.

In this paper, we proposed an algorithm that can extract lesion by inputting a medical image. Feature points are extracted using SIFT algorithm to extract genetic training of medical image. To increase the intensity of the feature points, the input image and that raining image are matched using vector similarity and the lesion is extracted. The vector similarity match can quickly lead to lesions. Since the direction vector is generated from the local feature point pair, the direction itself only shows the local feature, but it has the advantage of comparing the similarity between the other vectors existing between the two images and expanding to the global feature. The experimental results show that the lesion matching error rate is 1.02% and the processing speed is improved by about 40% compared to the case of not using the feature point intensity information.

Purpose: In hospital image-guided radiation therapy in patients with bladder cancer to enhance the reproducibility of the appropriate amount, depending on the patient's condition, and image-guided injection of saline system (On-Board Imager system, OBI, VARIAN, USA) three of the Cone-Beam CT dimensional matching (3D-3D matching) to be the treatment. In this study, the treatment of patients with bladder cancer at Cone-Beam CT image obtained through the analysis of the bones based matching and matching based on the bladder to learn about the differences, the bladder's volume change injected saline solution by looking at the bladder for the treatment of patients with a more appropriate image matching is to assess how the discussion. Materials and Methods: At our hospital from January 2009 to April 2010 admitted for radiation therapy patients, 7 patients with bladder cancer using a Folly catheter of residual urine in the bladder after removing the amount determined according to individual patient enough to inject saline CT-Sim was designed after the treatment plan. After that, using OBI before treatment to confirm position with Cone-Beam CT scan was physician in charge of matching was performed in all patients. CBCT images using a total of 45 bones, bladder, based on image matching and image matching based on the difference were analyzed. In addition, changes in bladder volume of Eclipse (version 8.0, VARIAN, USA) persuaded through. Results: Bones, one based image matching based on the bladder and re-matching the X axis is the difference between the average $3{\pm}2mm$, Y axis, $1.8{\pm}1.3mm$, Z-axis travel distance is $2.3{\pm}1.7mm$ and the overall $4.8{\pm}2.0mm$, respectively. The volume of the bladder compared to the baseline showed a difference of $4.03{\pm}3.97%$. Conclusion: Anatomical location and nature of the bladder due to internal movement of the bones, even after matching with the image of the bladder occurred in different locations. In addition, the volume of saline-filled bladder showed up the difference between the 4.03 percent, but matched in both images to be included in the planned volumes were able to confirm. Thus, after injection of saline into the bladder base by providing a more accurate image matching will be able to conduct therapy.
This paper presents a new matching scheme for creating a single panoramic image from a sequence of partially overlapping images of the same object or scene. This matching scheme is based directly on the searching algorithm, using a multiscale approach to the Hooke-Jeeves algorithm. Matching scheme evaluation was performed using simulated pattern images. The proposed matching scheme reveals good results and could be effectively applied to real ultrasound applications.
In classfying human being into four types: Soeum-in(少陰人), Taeeum-in(太陰人), Soyang-in(少陽人), Taeyang-in(太陽人), let, s try to match four season's image to the four type constitution. 1. spring's image(春) soeum-in(少陰人) summer's image(夏) taeeum-in(太陰人) autumn's image(秋) soyang-in(少陽人) winter's image(冬) taeyang-in(太陽人). 2. Treating disease, we should also consider essence chi(精氣) state.
A new three dimensional fractal coding is proposed with a perceptually enhanced matching. Since most of medical images (e.g. computed tomoyaphy or magnetic resonance images) have three dimensional characters, searching regions are extended to adjacent slices. For a perceptually enhanced matching, a high frequency boost filter is used for pre-filtering images to be encoded, and a least mean square error matching is applied to the edge enhanced Images rather than the original images. From simulation with magnetic resonance images($255\times255$, 8bits/pixel), reconstructed images by the proposed compression algorithm show much improved subjective image quality with higher peak signnal-to-noise ratio compared to those by existing fractal coding algorithms at compression ratios of about 10.
The comparative analysis of a portal image and a simulation image is a very important process in radiotherapy for verifying the accuracy of an actual treatment field. In this study, we applied a chamfer-matching algorithm to compare a portal image with a simulation image and verified the accuracy of the algorithm to analyze the field matching error in the portal image. We also developed an analysis program that could analyze the two images more effectively with a chamfer-matching method and demonstrated its efficacy through a feasibility study. With virtual portal images, the accuracy of the analysis algorithm were acceptable considering the average error of shift (0.64 mm), rotation (0.32$^{\circ}$), and scale (1.61%). When the portal images of a head and neck phantom were analyzed, the accuracy and suitability of the developed analysis program was proven considering the acceptable average error of shift (1.55 mm), rotation (0.80$^{\circ}$), and scale (1.72%). We verified the applicability of a chamfer-matching algorithm to the comparative analysis of a portal image with a simulation image. The analysis program developed in this study was a practical tool to calculate the quantitative error of the treatment field in a portal image.
