Segmented planar imaging detector for electro-optical reconnaissance (SPIDER) is an emerging technology for optical imaging. However, this novel detection approach is faced with degraded imaging quality. In this study, a 6 × 6 planar waveguide is used after each lenslet to expand the field of view. The imaging principles of field-plane waveguide structures are described in detail. The local multiple-sampling simulation mode is adopted to process the simulation of the improved imaging system. A novel image-reconstruction algorithm based on deep learning is proposed, which can effectively address the defects in imaging quality that arise during image reconstruction. The proposed algorithm is compared to a conventional algorithm to verify its better reconstruction results. The comparison of different scenarios confirms the suitability of the algorithm to the system in this paper.

With the exponential growth of medical image big data represented by high-resolution CT images(CTI), the high-resolution CTI data is of great importance for clinical research and diagnosis. The paper takes lung CTI as an example to study. Retrieving answer CTIs similar to the input one from the large-scale lung CTI database can effectively assist physicians to diagnose. Compared with the conventional content-based image retrieval(CBIR) methods, the CBIR for lung CTIs demands higher retrieval accuracy in both the contour shape and the internal details of the organ. In traditional supervised deep learning networks, the learning of the network relies on the labeling of CTIs which is a very time-consuming task. To address this issue, the paper proposes a Weakly Supervised Similarity Evaluation Network (WSSENet) for efficiently support similarity analysis of lung CTIs. We conducted extensive experiments to verify the effectiveness of the WSSENet based on which the CBIR is performed.
Recently, object recognition using image/video signals is rapidly spreading on autonomous driving and mobile phones. However, the actual input image/video signals are easily exposed to a poor illuminance environment. A recent researches for improving illumination enable to estimate and compensate the illumination parameters. In this study, we propose VE-DCE (video enhancement zero-reference deep curve estimation) to improve the illumination of low-light images. The proposed VE-DCE uses unsupervised learning-based zero-reference deep curve, which is one of the latest among learning based estimation techniques. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve the quality of low-light video as well as images compared to the previous method. In addition, it can reduce the computational complexity with respect to the existing method.
In recent years, using Deep Learning methods to apply for medical and biomedical image analysis has seen many advancements. In clinical, using Deep Learning-based approaches for cancer image analysis is one of the key applications for cancer detection and treatment. However, the scarcity and shortage of labeling images make the task of cancer detection and analysis difficult to reach high accuracy. In 2015, the Unet model was introduced and gained much attention from researchers in the field. The success of Unet model is the ability to produce high accuracy with very few input images. Since the development of Unet, there are many variants and modifications of Unet related architecture. This paper proposes a new approach of using Unet++ with pretrained EfficientNet as backbone architecture for breast tumor cell nuclei segmentation and uses the multi-organ transfer learning approach to segment nuclei of breast tumor cells. We attempt to experiment and evaluate the performance of the network on the MonuSeg training dataset and Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) testing dataset, both are Hematoxylin and Eosin (H & E)-stained images. The results have shown that EfficientUnet++ architecture and the multi-organ transfer learning approach had outperformed other techniques and produced notable accuracy for breast tumor cell nuclei segmentation.
This study proposes a method for creating learning datasets to recognize obstacles using deep learning algorithms in automated construction machinery or an autonomous vehicle. Recently, many researchers and engineers have developed various recognition algorithms based on deep learning following an increase in computing power. In particular, the image classification technology and image segmentation technology represent deep learning recognition algorithms. They are used to identify obstacles that interfere with the driving situation of an autonomous vehicle. Therefore, various organizations and companies have started distributing open datasets, but there is a remote possibility that they will perfectly match the user's desired environment. In this study, we created an interface of the virtual simulator such that users can easily create their desired training dataset. In addition, the customized dataset was further advanced by using the RDBMS system, and the recognition rate was improved.
In this paper, DLKF (Deep Learning Keypoint Filtering), the deep learning-based keypoint filtering method for the rapidization of the image registration method for remote sensing images is proposed. The complexity of the conventional feature-based image registration method arises during the feature matching step. To reduce this complexity, this paper proposes to filter only the keypoints detected in the artificial structure among the keypoints detected in the keypoint detector by ensuring that the feature matching is matched with the keypoints detected in the artificial structure of the image. For reducing the number of keypoints points as preserving essential keypoints, we preserve keypoints adjacent to the boundaries of the artificial structure, and use reduced images, and crop image patches overlapping to eliminate noise from the patch boundary as a result of the image segmentation method. the proposed method improves the speed and accuracy of registration. To verify the performance of DLKF, the speed and accuracy of the conventional keypoints extraction method were compared using the remote sensing image of KOMPSAT-3 satellite. Based on the SIFT-based registration method, which is commonly used in households, the SURF-based registration method, which improved the speed of the SIFT method, improved the speed by 2.6 times while reducing the number of keypoints by about 18%, but the accuracy decreased from 3.42 to 5.43. Became. However, when the proposed method, DLKF, was used, the number of keypoints was reduced by about 82%, improving the speed by about 20.5 times, while reducing the accuracy to 4.51.

In this paper, we investigate image and video compression techniques based on deep learning which are actively studied recently. The deep learning based image compression technique inputs an image to be compressed in the deep neural network and extracts the latent vector recurrently or all at once and encodes it. In order to increase the image compression efficiency, the neural network is learned so that the encoded latent vector can be expressed with fewer bits while the quality of the reconstructed image is enhanced. These techniques can produce images of superior quality, especially at low bit rates compared to conventional image compression techniques. On the other hand, deep learning based video compression technology takes an approach to improve performance of the coding tools employed for existing video codecs rather than directly input and process the video to be compressed. The deep neural network technologies introduced in this paper replace the in-loop filter of the latest video codec or are used as an additional post-processing filter to improve the compression efficiency by improving the quality of the reconstructed image. Likewise, deep neural network techniques applied to intra prediction and encoding are used together with the existing intra prediction tool to improve the compression efficiency by increasing the prediction accuracy or adding a new intra coding process.
Remotely sensed data have been used in various fields, such as disasters, agriculture, urban planning, and the military. Recently, the demand for the multitemporal dataset with the high-spatial-resolution has increased. This manuscript proposed an automatic image matching algorithm using a deep learning technique to utilize a multitemporal remotely sensed dataset. The proposed deep learning model was based on High Resolution Net (HRNet), widely used in image segmentation. In this manuscript, denseblock was added to calculate the correlation map between images effectively and to increase learning efficiency. The training of the proposed model was performed using the multitemporal orthophotos of the National Geographic Information Institute (NGII). In order to evaluate the performance of image matching using a deep learning model, a comparative evaluation was performed. As a result of the experiment, the average horizontal error of the proposed algorithm based on 80% of the image matching rate was 3 pixels. At the same time, that of the Zero Normalized Cross-Correlation (ZNCC) was 25 pixels. In particular, it was confirmed that the proposed method is effective even in mountainous and farmland areas where the image changes according to vegetation growth. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed deep learning algorithm can perform relative image registration and image matching of a multitemporal remote sensed dataset.

Breast cancer is among the cancers that may be healed as the disease diagnosed at early times before it is distributed through all the areas of the body. The Automatic Analysis of Diagnostic Tests (AAT) is an automated assistance for physicians that can deliver reliable findings to analyze the critically endangered diseases. Deep learning, a family of machine learning methods, has grown at an astonishing pace in recent years. It is used to search and render diagnoses in fields from banking to medicine to machine learning. We attempt to create a deep learning algorithm that can reliably diagnose the breast cancer in the mammogram. We want the algorithm to identify it as cancer, or this image is not cancer, allowing use of a full testing dataset of either strong clinical annotations in training data or the cancer status only, in which a few images of either cancers or noncancer were annotated. Even with this technique, the photographs would be annotated with the condition; an optional portion of the annotated image will then act as the mark. The final stage of the suggested system doesn't need any based labels to be accessible during model training. Furthermore, the results of the review process suggest that deep learning approaches have surpassed the extent of the level of state-of-of-the-the-the-art in tumor identification, feature extraction, and classification. in these three ways, the paper explains why learning algorithms were applied: train the network from scratch, transplanting certain deep learning concepts and constraints into a network, and (another way) reducing the amount of parameters in the trained nets, are two functions that help expand the scope of the networks. Researchers in economically developing countries have applied deep learning imaging devices to cancer detection; on the other hand, cancer chances have gone through the roof in Africa. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a sort of deep learning that can aid you with a variety of other activities, such as speech recognition, image recognition, and classification. To accomplish this goal in this article, we will use CNN to categorize and identify breast cancer photographs from the available databases from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Recently, along with the recent development of deep learning technique, neural networks are achieving success in computer vision filed. Convolutional neural network have shown outstanding performance in not only for a simple image classification task, but also for tasks with high difficulty such as object segmentation and detection. However many such deep learning models are based on supervised-learning, which requires more annotation labels than image-level label. Especially image semantic segmentation model requires pixel-level annotations for training, which is very. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a weakly-supervised semantic segmentation method which requires only image level label to train network. Existing weakly-supervised learning methods have limitations in detecting only specific area of object. In this paper, on the other hand, we use multi-classifier deep learning architecture so that our model recognizes more different parts of objects. The proposed method is evaluated using VOC 2012 validation dataset.
