This paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based personal information area object detection optimization method in an embedded system to de-identify personal information in video data. As an object detection optimization method, first, in order to increase the detection rate for personal information areas when detecting objects, a gyro sensor is used to collect the shooting angle of the image data when acquiring the image, and the image data is converted into a horizontal image through the collected shooting angle. Based on this, each learning model was created according to changes in the size of the image resolution of the learning data and changes in the learning method of the learning engine, and the effectiveness of the optimal learning model was selected and evaluated through an experimental method. As a de-identification method, a shuffling-based masking method was used, and double-key-based encryption of the masking information was used to prevent restoration by others. In order to reuse the original image, the original image could be restored through a security key. Through this, we were able to secure security for high personal information areas and improve usability through original image restoration. The research results of this paper are expected to contribute to industrial use of data without personal information leakage and to reducing the cost of personal information protection in industrial fields using video through de-identification of personal information areas included in video data.

Tunnelling has become a preferred method of construction for road and highway projects in countries with a lot of hilly slope geological conditions such as found in Malaysia. However the construction works of a tunnelling project are usually complicated and costly, which consequently impose great risks to the parties involved. This paper identifies the key significant risks and sub-risks for tunnelling construction projects in Malaysia through a case study. Interview has been used as the solitary means to determine the significant risks from contractor's eleven key project personnel who were directly involved in the tunnelling construction such as consultant, construction manager and tunnel engineers. The importance of the risks identified is then prioritised and ranked via the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)'s pairwise comparison approach to determine their criticality towards a successful delivery of project. As a result, three key risks have been identified as significant for the tunnelling case study project, namely health and safety, cost overrun in construction and time overrun in construction. Two sub-risks each of the latter categories, which are cost underestimation and unforeseen events (cost overrun in construction) as well as plant and machinery failure and delay in material delivery (time overrun in construction), have occupied the top five overall risk ranking.
This research considers a system containing a manufacturing firm who generates waste material during manufacturing process, and a disposal firm who collects and disposes the waste material. Identification of the optimal number of pick ups and the amount of waste to be disposed at certain period of time in terms of cost minimization is studied. Two types of waste accumulation rates, constant and linearly increasing, are discussed and mathematical models are developed. It can be shown that the results for these two different types of waste accumulation differ in a wide range because of the difference in the way of how waste is accumulated, which disturbs the storage cost. An integrated model is also developed and discussed in which both the manufacturing firm and the disposal firm benefit from the coordination between the two parties. It is shown that the optimal policy adopted by the integrated approach can provide a strong and consistent cost-minimizing effect for both the manufacturing firm and the disposal firm over the existing approach. Finally, all the models are verified by a numerical example and the results are compared.
Nowadays, low-cost radio frequency identification (RFID) technique, is recognizable without the physical contact between the reader and the tag, has been attracting more and more interests from both industry and academic institutes. however, it causes the serious privacy infringement such as excessive information exposure and user's location information tracking due to the wireless characteristics. The security problem of read only tag can be only solved by physical method. In this paper, we propose a low-cost authentication protocol which can be adopted for read-only RFID tag using XOR and Partial ID. The proposed protocol is secure against reply attacking, eavesdropping and spoofing attacking so that avoiding the location privacy exposure

The cost-effective reduction of greenhouse gas(GHG) emission to avert the most severe impacts of climate change remains one of the widely accepted priorities for global action. In order to facilitate cost-effective abatement strategies, the Kyoto Protocol introduced three mechanisms, or flexible instruments, the Emissions Trading(ET), the Joint Implementation(JI) and the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM). The CDM enables Annex I countries to the Kyoto Protocol to partially meet cost-effectively their emission reduction commitments by undertaking GHG mitigation Projects in developing countries, which do not have any GHG abatement obligations and where the emission reductions are cheaper. One of the major barriers hampering the wide spread implementation of CDM is the high transaction costs associated with the initial identification of promising CDM projects. This paper presents development of a pre-validation program of CDM. The developed program may provide a useful aid to potential investors and project developers as a supportive pre-evaluation tool, and may become an effective tool for the promotion of renewable energy and fuel switching projects.
The rapid urbanization in developing countries is accelerating both the depletion and fragmentation of urban green space, despite the known positive effects of green spaces on the environmental conditions in cities and the quality of life of residents. Consequently, there is a need for practical tools that can support the development of networks of urban green spaces. This article presents a study that used a GIS-based least cost path (LCP) analysis to identify the best alternative for developing an urban green space network in the coastal city of Jakarta, Indonesia, which was based on the evaluation of topography and land use characteristics. Pair-wise analysis was used to reduce the sensitivity in the LCP model. The results showed that the coastal wetlands in the northern part of Jakarta and the agricultural fields in the suburban areas of Jakarta play an important role in connecting the green space network. On the other hand, some green spaces in the central part of Jakarta could not be connected by the LCP model. The method used in this study can serve as a tool to support the identification of networks of potential urban green spaces. It can also provide useful information for sustainable urban landscape planning and management in urban ecosystems. However, the inclusion of socio-economic criteria would further improve the model.
Forward osmosis (FO) is an emerging technology which can possibly make the desalination process more cost and energy efficient. One of the major factors impeding its growth is the lack of an appropriate draw solute. The present study deals with the identification of potential draw solutes, and rank them. The comparison was carried out among ten draw solutes on the basis of four main parameters namely; water flux, reverse salt diffusion, flux recovery and cost. Each draw solute was given three 24 hour runs; corresponding to three different concentrations; and their flux and reverse salt diffusion values were calculated. A fresh membrane was used every time except for the fourth time which was the flux recovery experiment conducted for the lowest concentration and the change of flux and reverse salt diffusion values from the initial run was noted. The organic solutes inspected were urea and tartaric acid which showed appreciable values in other parameters viz. reverse salt diffusion, flux recovery and cost although they generated a lower flux. They ranked 5th and 8th respectively. All the experimented draw solutes were ranked based on their values corresponding to each of the four main parameters chosen for comparison and Ammonium sulfate was found to be the best draw solute.

The process of manufacturing printed electronics using printing technology is attracting attention because its process cost is lower than that of the conventional semiconductor process. This technology, which offers both a lower cost and higher productivity, can be applied in the production of organic TFT (thin film transistor), solar cell, RFID(radio frequency identification) tag, printed battery, E-paper, touch screen panel, black matrix for LCD(liquid crystal display), flexible display, and so forth. In general, in order to implement printed electronics, narrow width and gap printing, registration of multi-layer printing by several printing units, and printing accuracy of under $20\;{\mu}m$ are all required. These electronic products require high precision to the degree of tens of microns - in a large area with flexible material, and mass productivity at low cost. As such, the roll-to-roll printing process is attracting attention as a mass production system for these printed electronic devices. For the commercialization of this process, two basic electronic ink technologies, such as conductive ink and polymers, and printing equipment have to be developed. Therefore, this paper addressed basis design and test to develop fine patterning equipment employing the roll-to-roll printing equipment and electronic ink.

Recently, the corrosion and aging of bridge structures are of great concern impractical The uncertainties of the corroded reinforced bars in concrete influence not only the safety of the bridge structures, but also the flexural strength of reinforced concrete members. This paper considers these uncertainties by providing a reliability-based framework and show that the identification of the optimum maintenance scenario is a straightforward process. This is achieved by using a computer pro망am for Life Cycle Cost Analysis of Deteriorating Structures (LCCADS). This program can consider the effects of various types of actions on the reliability index profile of a deteriorating structures.
Pharmacophore models for lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase (P56 LCK) were developed using CATALYST HypoGen with a training set comprising of 25 different P56 LCK inhibitors. The best quantitative pharmacophore hypothesis comprises of one hydrogen bond acceptor, one hydrogen bond donor, one hydrophobic aliphatic and one ring aromatic features with correlation coefficient of 0.941, root mean square deviation (RMSD) of 0.933 and cost difference (null cost-total cost) of 66.23. The pharmacophore model was validated by two methods and the validated model was further used to search databases for new compounds with good estimated LCK inhibitory activity. These compounds were evaluated for their binding properties at the active site by molecular docking studies using GOLD software. The compounds with good estimated activity and docking scores were evaluated for physiological properties based on Lipinski's rules. Finally 68 compounds satisfied all the properties required to be a successful inhibitor candidate.
