The purpose of this study is to analyze IT infrastructure of Korean apparel industry in order to enhance business effectiveness and customer's satisfaction in information society with global networks. For this study, the questionnaires were distributed to 57 apparel industries in Korea. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, multi regression analysis. The results of this study are as follow: First, Considering the apparel industry, construction of information system is essential for assistance of information policy and utilization of information. Understanding of e-business policy affects profits of suppliers. Second, Apparel industry with higher information policy has higher productivity with flexibility. Third, Apparel industry which has close relationship with suppliers has better customer support. Flexible scheduling and production line are important factors for quick response of customer's order and need.

Using patent and firm-level panel data for 1982-2001, this study investigates spillover effects of patents and the strengthening of intellectual property rights on Productivity and Innovation. As well as we consider the effect of intra-industry spillovers, we extend the effect to inter-industry spillovers which implies the effects of IT industries on non-IT industries. The empirical results are summarized as follows. First, allowing for firm-level variables, market competition and technological spillovers, the strengthening of intellectual property rights does not play a significant role on innovative activities. Second, while innovative activities of domestic firms affect significantly firms' innovative activities, those of foreign firms do not. Third, innovative activities of IT industries as inter-industry spillovers play a significant role on innovative activities and labor productivities of domestic firms.

기술혁신은 국가의 경제 성장과 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 좌우하는 중요한 요소이다. 선진국들은 국가 경쟁력 강화를 위해 지식집약적 산업과 첨단기술기반 산업에 대한 육성 및 투자에 관심을 집중하고 있다. 특히 첨단기술기반 산업의 경우는 한국의 대표적인 산업으로서 정부에서 적극적으로 지원을 하고 있다. 이러한 첨단기술기반 산업에서는 특허가 기업의 중요한 경쟁우위 요소가 될 수 있는데 현재 이와 관련된 국내에서의 실증연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문은 특허가치평가시 평가 요인들이 IT 및 BT 산업별로 차이중요도에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 연구의 목적으로 하고 있다. 봄 연구에서는 비교 분석을 위해 특허가치평가기관의 평가 모형과 기존의 선행연구에서 제시된 요인들 중에서 중요 요인을 도출하여 사용하였다. 또한 AHP 기법을 활용하여 IT와 BT 산업별로 특허가치평가 중요 요인들이 어떠한 차이를 보이는지에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 특허가치평가 중요 요인들이 산업별로 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

Most companies in the IT service industry have suffered from low profitability although this industry is highly value added, which may result in losing the competitiveness of the industry. The purpose of this study is to identify the influencing factors on the profit improvement rate of IT service projects and suggest how to improve the profit improvement rate, thus recovering the competitiveness of the IT service industry. The 273 IT service projects conducted by an IT service company in Korea during the past three years were analyzed and the project managers who performed these projects responded to the questionnaire developed in this study. The result from the analysis of data collected shows that the influencing factors on the profit improvement rate of IT service projects include scheduling, experience in similar projects, the leadership of project leaders, the level of team skills, relationship with clients, and clients support.

Oyster is the most important item next to tuna based on the market value in Korea's fisheries exports and it shares more than $90\%$ of the world oyster market. Oyster industry is a vital component of the Korea's aquaculture industry. However, it has faced many problems such as (1) a lower productivity of the culture system, (2) an environmental deterioration of the farming area, (3) a higher labor cost, (4) a shortage of of oysters to export, and (5) a poor seedling in nature. Therefore, including it's business forecast, the above problems and some countermeasures are discussed in this paper.

The last decade has witnessed great improvements in power semiconductor devices thanks to the advanced design and process, which have made it possible to significantly improve the electrical performances of electronic systems while simultaneously reducing their site, weight and perhaps most importantly reducing their cost. Among the power semiconductor devices, IGBT will be a key semiconductor component for power industry since it has a huge potential to cover large areas of power electronics from small home appliances to heavy industries. Currently, only a few limited power semiconductor manufacturers supply most of the industrial consumptions of power IGBT and its modules. Therefore, a large portion of technology in the power industry is dependent on other advanced countries. In this regard, to independently build power IGBT devices and the relevant power module technology, Korean government initiated a new 5-year project 'Power IT,' which also aimed at booming the business of the power semiconductor and the allied industries. With the success of this power IT project, it is expected that the power semiconductor technology will be a basis to foster the high power semiconductor industry and moreover, there will be more innovative developments in the Korea region and globally Also, forming the channel between the customers and suppliers, it is possible to effectively develop the customized power products, which could strengthen the competitiveness of Korean power industry. Furthermore, the power industry including semiconductor manufacturers will be technologically self-supporting and be able to obtain good business opportunities, and eventually increase the share in the growing power semiconductor market, which could be positioned as a major industry in Korea.

This paper was tried to show the improvement model for software industry structure in Korea regarding to have the global level of competence in Korean software firms. To suggest the improvement model for software industry structure, the detailed status about software industry which as in the supply and demand perspectives and comparativeness dimension were analysed. Also to this model the special survey results from the 35 professionalists in the software industry were included. This improvement model suggests the big software firms have to consider the economy of the scale, and to enter global IT market, the other SMEs have to pursuit themselves as a specified technology firms. So it is good for the oversea project collaboration with the solution provider firms and IT service firms. And it is desirable to make a the economy of scale regarding as the solution venture startup, M&A, networking the software firms as supply chain. Also the development of new business model for new market and firms with the high-tech business competency will be required.

The domestic food service industry has established its industrial basis since the overseas brands were introduced and international events were held in Korea. It also has showed a prominent growth rate as consumers began to show more interests in leisure and quality of working life(QWL) At this, the employees, constituting Points of contacts with consumers of the food service industry, have emerged as a Primarily critical concern in order for the food service industry, which can affect people in various ways, to adopt our own food culture and develop its business quality. In the food service industry, as a relatively labour-intensive industry, the manpower service is considered very important. Whether the industry succeeds or not depends on the role of employees as the quality of service of employees can decide the quality of the industry itself. In spite of the importance of employees in the food service industry, not many researches have been Performed on the personnel management of the industry, as Koreans traditionally have hold a prejudiced view on the food service industry and it is only a short time since the food business began to be considered as an industry. This thesis aims at research on the factors affecting job satisfaction of the employees by dealing with the importance and characteristics of the role of employees of the food service industry and theoretical background of the job satisfaction. The presumable factors affecting the job satisfaction are divided into several groups ; characteristics of organization, working condition, human relationship, psychological factors, and its reputation in the labour market. Hypotheses and models, where those factors affect the employees, are formed. Statistical methods such as correlation analysis and multiple regression are used in order to verify those hypotheses. Alternatives to improve job satisfaction of employees are suggested based on the analysis. It is expected that there will be more active researches on employees of the food service industry, as this thesis has selected employees of the food service industry as its subjects while subjects of similar researches have been mainly hotel employees so far.

IT 산업 기업간의 갈수록 치열해지고 있는 경쟁 환경에서 기업이 생존하기 위한 기술혁신은 경쟁력 확보를 위한 필수요소가 되고 있다. 이러한 기술혁신은 기업의 생존을 위해 반드시 필요하며 다양한 요인들이 기술혁신의 성공을 거두기 위해 반드시 고려되어야 한다. 본 고에서는 IT산업을 기반으로 기술 혁신에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고 이러한 영향 요인에 관련된 다른 연구와의 비교 분석을 통해 새로운 연구모형을 설정하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
