The change in a society have brought about other changes in the overall areas of culture and art. And have brought the advent of "object", which is a unique cultural aspect. The object became a trend of the world in a culture and art. This trend has satisfied the modern people who have look for new visual stimulation. The object appears well in the spaces restaurants and bars where are reflected in consumer's needs and change of life pattern. The reason is that the spaces restaurants and bars have expressed the differentiated and individualized image with the characteristic of the times. There are three types of the expressed characteristics of objects in interior design. These are visual, functional, and emotional characteristics. But in this study it could not be found that it characterized with one concrete vocabulary and concept. Therefore, it is need to understand the various tendency which expressed characteristics of objects in the spaces restaurants and bars.

EFP composed of explosive, charge and liner generally penetrates standoff a target by Monroe effect. Its performance highly depends on penetrator characteristics and flight stability. Penetration ability can be dramatically reduced when the penetrator reaches the target with AOA, even if the penetrator has high kinetic energy and L/D ratio. Therefore, it is important to research not only penetrator characteristics and but also flight stability. In this work, the effect of liner shape on penetrator characteristics was examined using free flight test and numerical tools. It was found that tip velocity of penetrator was increased with decreasing liner thickness. It was also found that thicker liner had higher static margin leading to better flight status.

This paper provides the results of accelerated aging test of 18kV ZnO lightning arresters to investigate the leakage current characteristics. It was impossible to establish the replacement criterion for field operating lightning arrester because conventional aging test was only focused on the aging of ZnO elements. In general, it is possible to replace the aged arresters before the failure in the field using the leakage current measurement because it must be increased by the aging. But we can not use the method because we don't know the characteristics of the installed lightning arresters. Therefore in this paper we applied operating voltage and accelerating cycle which consists of temperature and humidity to the arresters. Then we measured the variation of total and resistive leakage current and found out the characteristics of the acted lightning arresters.

Next Generation High Speed Train having a distributed electrical motor system has just been developing to aim the experimental maximum speed at 400km/h since August, 2007. This project is in stage of concept design and so, it needs to take some review and analysis the characteristics of suspensions on the view of concept design. A train dynamic modeling is modified with the one car model presented in the previous conference and it was extended to 6cars models having the same suspensions and added some connection's characteristics between the cars with Vampire program. It is used to analyze the effect on the dynamic performances according to the variation of primary and secondary suspension characteristics in the condition of 6 cars configuration. The results would be useful to manage the potential risks in the next stage of basic and critical design that will be done by the manufacturing company.

Advanced IT of Korea is the important factor that has improved the performance of business to business e-business systems, especially On-Line E-procurement System (KONEPS). Obviously KONEPS is well positioned in businesses of Korea. In order to be higher performance in KONEPS, it needed to be analysed important characteristics composed of KONEPS. Even though KONEPS has been operating well, user's satisfaction and customer loyalty for KONEPS was not high in real businesses. In this research, we tried to find the factors affecting user satisfaction and customer loyalty for KONEPS and figure out the mechanism among the factors. We surveyed using characteristics, which are information diversity, usability, system reliability and stability, on suppliers, main users of KONEPS. We consider the using characteristics as independent factors of the research model. Meanwhile, we model user's satisfaction and customer loyalty as the dependent factors. The results from the study are helpful in providing policies and strategies to promote the use of KONEPS.

In order to overcome social exclusion and to integrate social housing, it is necessary to plan a communal space in urban collective housing so that residents can have belonging sense and community consciousness. In this study, it is necessary to consider the linkage between social integration and residential space, and to derive the characteristics of planning the collective housing for social integration. We analyzed the planning characteristics of MVRDV's communal spaces of collective housing and suggested a method of planning communal spaces of urban collective housing for social integration. Urban density is an important tool and background for MVRDV's design methodology. For this reason, MVRDV's collective housing is selected as a case study in this study. As a result of case analysis, openness and connection characteristics should be considered by using various devices such as glass exterior, balcony, and void in planning the communal space in urban collective housing for social integration. However, since it has appeared in many cases, it can be criticized that the application of this is merely a logic. In other words, it is possible to suggest that we should actively introduce less accessible access. This problem should be solved through more case studies.

As most of firms related with P2P services change their free services into fee-charging services, the problems of intellectual property rights are solved to satisfactory extent. Accordingly, P2P systems become more popular with the general public. In this respect, it is thought to be very important to research on the critical factors affecting usage of P2P systems. Although it is strongly expected that the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities affect the intention to re-use P2P systems, relatively few attention have been paid to this question. Therefore, this paper is to present empirical evidence to explain how the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities affect re-use intention of P2P services. The theoretical contribution of this study is that the characteristics of users activities in virtual communities is theoretically derived from the comprehensive literature review and the logical reasoning, and that the research model of the relationship between the users activities' characteristics in virtual community and the re-use intention of P2P services is proposed and empirically validated, which is expected to expand explaining power of the TAM(Technological Acceptance Model). Also, the practical implication is to provide the guideline to support the successful strategic planning for development and.operation of P2P services through the virtual communities.

This paper is to study the characteristics of axial force behavior that operates to the part of turnout when it makes the turnout and the continuous welded rail unifying. The study is to model by using the 50kgN rail No. 15 turnout used in the domestic national railway and the UIC60 rail No. 18 turnout used in the rapid transit railway as the finite elements for analyzing the axial force behavior of the turnout by the continuous welded rail. It is to analyze the characteristics of behavior according to the change of creep resistance, ballast resistance and the change of parameter valuables of heel joint by the axial force simulation in making the continuous welded rail and then, it is to present the result. As the result of research on the parameter valuables through the analysis, it shows that the maximum axial force of turnout by the continuous welded rail are largely subordinated to the maximum resistance of heel joint and the fitting devices than the ballast resistance. Also it shows that the maximum axial force produced changes a lot according to the characteristics of creep resistance of the fitting part and the ballast resistance.

Purpose: This study attempted to verify which factor affects the intention to use of the connected car that has recently emerged. Methods: Based on prior researches, this study derives the characteristics of connected car that affects user intention and designs research model for empirical analysis. A structured questionnaire was conducted for those who drive cars, and a total of 292 usable responses were collected and empirically analyzed using SPSS and PLS. Results: The results of this study are as follows; service quality, hedonic motivation, and social influence have a significant effect on perceived value, but system quality, information quality, user innovation, experience and facilitating condition did not. In addition, it was found that system quality, information quality, service quality, user innovation, facilitating conditions and social influence have a significant effect on satisfaction, but hedonic motivation and experience did not affect satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings of this empirical analysis have implications for effectively recognizing the value of connected cars based on the technology of information systems to users and establishing sustainable growth strategies for connected car producers and suppliers.

In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of six waterfront users who are currently being used to select indicators for waterfront development. It can be classified into urban type, inland type and coast type according to the place where waterfront space is located. These waterfront design elements include accessibility, public activity, and waterfront characteristics. Waterfront environment involves selecting the elements for considered and examined these with resepect to the goals of the study. In terms of accessibility to most waterfronts, it is analyzed that users who are located within 30 minutes' distance of walking are most likely to use it. As shown in the satisfaction survey of this study, the unsatisfactory satisfaction of water quality and quantity was found to be low in Unam pond, and the result shows that the overall satisfaction of waterfront space is also low. In the case of Chunggye Chun, the results of the survey on weekdays showed that the office workers, such as the offices located in the surrounding area, were mainly resting places. In the case of Naesungchun, it is possible to select the indicators that can help the direction of the festival as a survey on the users during the festival period. In this study, waterfront location, purpose of use, characteristics, environment, and subdivision are presented as indicators to be considered when developing the waterfront. It is expected that the proposed indicators will be able to determine the direction of development by reflecting characteristics of users.
