Global Production Network and Coupling Strategy of IT Industrial Clusters in Dongguan, China (중국 동관 IT 산업 클러스터의 글로벌 생산 네트워크 및 커플링 전략)

  • Dongguan City of Guangdong province, one of the core areas of the Pearl River Delta, has also pursued economic development through the geographical advantage close to Hong Kong. In the early 1980s, small and medium-sized multinational corporations related to home appliances industry from Hong Kong invested to the Dongguan area and set up a production factory. In the mid-1990s, as Taiwanese PC manufacturers invested, local industrial clusters have developed in Dongguan with core of the IT, PC components and electronic industries. The case of the IT industrial cluster in Dongguan is a typical example of the development of Chinese manufacturing industry after the reform of China. This paper focused on the coupling strategy case of Dongguan City industrial cluster in Guangdong province, and theoretically compared the endogenous growth factor analysis(NMID) of regional industrial development with the regional differentiation of industry based on external linkage with global production network(GPN).

  • Recently, demand for smart factories is increasing in response to the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Smart factory is basically a manufacturing industry based on massive data, which requires IT services for processing a lot of data, which is accelerating the construction of data centers. Data center computing equipment requires a different approach from the cooling technology of general facilities in terms of heat load and usage time. This study investigates the factors to be reviewed in the recent data center cooling system design and technological change trends, compares and reviews various technological methods for facility configuration of case companies, derives the design decision process, and draws up a conceptual design corresponding to the conclusion.

  • In the manufacturing industry, there is a transition to multi-item production for reinforcement of competitiveness. Therefore, the hybrid manufacturing technology is increasing. Especially, many efforts in production quality improvement are made through the adoption of the manufacturing execution system and ERP, so it is necessary to operate MES for prompt and effective management. MES should improve ineffective parts in production activities while managing all stages related to production of products. If there is change in the process, the changed items should be reflected to the system. However, most manufacturing execution systems are operated passively and repetitively by system administrators. This study presents a model that system administrators can comprehensively apply reference information about production related requirements on specific line's equipment to the same equipment of other lines. The flexible response for application to production lines is possible thanks to the division of blanket application and selective application of reference information through proposed model.

  • It is currently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, which is the convergence of ICT and manufacturing, connecting both industrial equipment and production processes to one network and communicating with each other. The fact that they are connected to one network has the advantage of management, but there is a risk of security. In particular, Wi-Fi can be easily accessed by outsiders through a software change of the MAC address or password exposures. In this paper, by applying the method of Beacon using a Bluetooth Low Energy Add in Bluetooth 4.0, we propose a system of black-box approach to secure connections to wireless Internet, users do not have to know the password. We also implemented the proposed system using the raspberry pi and verified the effectiveness of a real-time system by testing the communication.

  • As part of the digital era, a digital twin that simulates the weak part of a product by performing a stress test that reduces the lifespan of some expensive equipment that cannot be done in reality by accurately moving the real world to virtual reality is being actively used in the manufacturing industry. Due to the development of IoT, the digital twin, which accurately collects data collected from the real world and makes it the same in the virtual space, is mutually beneficial through accurate prediction of urban life problems such as traffic, disaster, housing, quarantine, energy, environment, and aging. Based on its action, it is positioned as a necessary tool for smart city construction. Although digital twin is widely applied to the manufacturing field, this study proposes a smart city model suitable for the 4th industrial revolution era by using it to smart cities and increasing citizens' safety, welfare, and convenience through the proposed model. In addition, when a digital twin is applied to a smart city, it is expected that more accurate prediction and analysis will be possible by real-time synchronization between the real and virtual by maintaining realism and immediacy through real-time interaction.

  • Smart factory has the function of integrated management of production process management, logistics management as a intelligent factory, it is also emerging as the core of new industry which converges ICT and manufacturing business. We suggested Smart factory logistics management system which embedded position tracking technology and the system converges ICT and IoT. This suggested system can manage all the processes from production to release by tracking route and position based on signal strength of bluetooth 4.0 beacon tag. For the more, we will expect to apply to the various type of factory environments like detachable installation, optimized management using sensor.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the strategic role of the human resources department in the manufacturing industry on organizational effectiveness through education and training satisfaction. Among the data from the 7th human capital company panel survey, data from the manufacturing industry were used and analyzed through a structural equation model. The results of this study are as follows: First, the strategic role of the HR department has a positive effect on satisfaction with education and training. Second, satisfaction with education and training and the strategic role of HR departments have a positive effect on job satisfaction among organizational effectiveness. Third, it was confirmed that education and training satisfaction has a mediating effect on the relationship between the HR department's strategic role and job satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to become the basis for expanding the authority and responsibilities of the HR department, which is an important factor in overcoming the crisis faced by SMEs as well as innovation, and redefining their role.

  • 전시회 시즌을 맞아 지난 9월과 10월에는 국내에서 다양한 산업전시회가 열렸다. 9월 23일 국제광산업전시회를 시작으로 9월 25일에는 국제자동화정밀기기전과 국제인쇄산업전시회, 10월 14일에는 한국전자산업대전, 10월 22일에는 친환경상품전시회 등이 열렸다. 이들 전시회들의 공통적인 특징은 세계적으로 IT제조업의 메카인 우리나라가 친환경과 고효율.고성능화로 기술 흐름을 주도하고 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 삼성과 LG 등 대기업과 중소기업을 주축으로 친환경.고효율 제품들을 선보인데 이어 부품제조업체들은 경박단소와 대용량을 구현하는 초고성능 제품들을 대거 선보였다. 또한 타 산업간의 융합을 통해 새로운 블루오션 시장을 창출해야 한다는 시대적 소명과 함께 광산업도 융.복합기술을 찾기에 한창인 모습을 확인할 수 있었다

  • Subsidiary business between mobile carriers and handset manufacturers has been banned by Korean regulator due to the concern that it may cause the unfair competition in the market. But the opinion that the current regulation has to be consolidated is increasing to follow recent market trends, ensuer the fair competition and increase the users' benefit. In this paper, I analysed trends of the mobile telecommunication market and proposed desirable direction of regulatory improvement.

  • V2X(Vehicle to Everything)는 차량 간 통신(Vehicle-to-Vehicle), 차량과 인프라 간 통신(Vehicle-to-Infrastructure), 차량과 보행자 간의 통신(Vehicle-to-Pedestrians) 등 운전 중 도로 인프라 및 다른 차량과 통신하면서 교통상황 등의 정보를 교환하거나 공유하는 기술을 말한다. V2X는 IT 기술의 발달과 여러 연구기관들의 연구개발 강화로 인해 'Connected/Smart car' 나아가 완전한 자율주행차를 구현하기 위해 빠르게 진화하고 있다. 이러한 V2X 시장이 향후 10년 간 급속한 확대가 전망되면서, 국내외 통신업체와 제조업 및 산학연은 자동차와 정보통신, 에너지, 서비스 산업을 융합한 스마트자동차 산업을 신성장 동력으로 하여 기술개발에 노력을 가속화하고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 V2X 차량 통신 기술의 주요선진국 기술개발 동향과 현 수준을 알아본다.
