  • ISO 140-11 specifies a method for measuring the acoustic properties of floor coverings from the view-point of reducing impact sound transmission. This test method is limited to the specification of procedures for the physical measurement of sound originating from an artificial impact source under laboratory conditions. In this study, ISO 140-11 was reviewed to applicable to domestic floor coverings installed on lightweight floors.

  • 최근 국내에서는 바닥충격음에 대한 측정방법이 개정(2001년 6월 19일자 기술표준원 고시 제2001-334호)되어 KS F 2810-1(바닥충격음 차단성능 현장 측정방법 1부- 표준중량충격원에 의한 방법)과 KS F 2810-2(바닥충격음 차단성능 현장 측정방법 2부- 표준중량충격원에 의한 방법)의 체계가 구축되었다. 이는 현장 측정방법으로서 완성된 건축물에 대한 공간성능을 측정하는 의미를 가지고 있다.(중략)

  • Analytical method for preservatives in food was developed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Propionic acid, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, ethyl salicylate, ethyl p-hydroxy benzoate, iso-propyl p-hydroxy benzoate, n-propyl p-hydroxy benzoate, iso-butyl p-hydroxy benzoate, n-butyl p-hydroxy benzoate, p-hydroxy benzoic acid and dehydro acetic acid were extracted from cooling beverage with diethyl ether. The polar hydroxyl and carboxyl groups of food preservatives were derivatized with N-methyl-N-tert-butyldimethylisilyl-trifluoroscetamide (MTBSTFA) to form the corresponding tert-bytyldimethyl-silylated derivatives, and submitted to GC/MS analysis. The mass spectra of the derivatives were investigated for the selection of monitoring ions for multi-residue analysis of 11 preservatives by GC/MS. The macro program was also developed for the qualitative analysis of these preservatives in food.

28-Day Oral Toxicity of Cadmium Selenide in Sprague-Dawley Rats

  • This study was performed to evaluate the toxicity of cadmium selenide for a period of 28 days in Sprague-Dawley rats. Each of 10 healthy male and females rats per group received daily oral administration for 28-day period at dosage levels 30, 300 and 1,000 mg/kg of body weight. Mortality and clinical signs were checked, and body weight, water intake and food consumption were also recorded weekly. There were no dose-related changes in food consumption or urine volume. All animals survived to the end of study with no clinical signs or differences in body weight gain observed when compared with the control group. At the end of study, all animals including control group, were subjected to necropsy. Blood samples were collected for hematology tests including coagulation time and biochemistry analysis. Blood coagulation time and relative organ weight were unaffected by all received doses. White Blood Cell (WBC) counts significantly increased in the 300 mg/kg administered male animal group when compared to the control. Monocyte (MO) value were also increased significantly in both 300 and 1,000 mg/kg male animal group. However, Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) were significantly decreased compared with the control in the 1,000 mg/kg dose groups for male and female animals. Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) decreased significantly for female in the 300 and 1,000 mg/kg group compared to the control. Blood biochemical values of Inorganic phosphorus (IP) were significantly increased in both the 300 and 1,000 mg/kg dose groups in male animals when compared to the control. Creatinine (CRE) levels indicated significant increase in kidney function for the female, 30 mg/kg dose group when compared with control. There was a significant decrease in thymus absolute organ weight in the female, 1,000 mg/kg dose group when compared with control. Histopathological findings revealed no evidence of injury related to cadmium selenide except for one case of focal hepatic inflammation in the high dose (1,000 mg/kg) group. One case of lung inflammation was also seen in the control group. Basis on these result, the No Observable Adverse Effect Level (NOAEL) of cadmium selenide was determined to be more than 1,000 mg/kg/day for male and female rats under conditions in this study.

실험조건에 따른 임팩트 볼의 바닥충격음 변화 고찰 (Floor Impact Noise Characteristics Depending on the Experimental Conditions Using Impact Ball)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일본의 표준 중량충격원인 임팩트 볼을 국내의 표준중량충격원으로 도입시 바닥충격음 실험에 있어서 정확성에 대해 실험을 통해 알아보고자 했다. 이를 위하여 임팩트 볼을 이용하여 낙하 높이별, 가진위치를 바꾸어서, 수음점 높이에 대한 논의를 진행하였고, 임팩트 볼을 이용한 바닥충격음을 측정하고 이를 실제 충격원인 뛰는 충격음과 비교하여 실제 충격음과 가장 유사한 낙하 높이에 대한 검토를 실시하였다. 또한 일본 주택에서 주로 사용되고 있는 목구조와 국내 공동주택의 기본 구조인 콘크리트 구조에서의 바닥충격음 특성차이를 알아보기 위해 실험동에서 같은 조건으로 시험을 실시하여 시공재료 및 구법에 따른 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 목구조에서는 낙하 높이가 10 cm에서 30 cm사이의 충격음이 실제 충격음과 비슷한 음압레벨을 갖는 것으로 나타났고 콘크리트 구조에서는 유사한 음압의 높이는 없었다. 또한 사람이 임팩트 볼을 운용하면서 표준낙하높이를 기준으로 상 하 10 cm 높이차로 생기는 오차는 역 A특성 값에서 약 1 dB이하 정도로 작은 오차를 나타내긴 하지만 우리나라에 표준 중량충격원으로 도입할 때에는 다양한 콘크리트 바닥구법에 따른 바닥충격음의 특성에 따른 적합한 임팩트 볼의 낙하 높이 및 측정 마이크로폰의 높이에 대한 고려는 신중히 하여야 한다.
