ISO/TC 43 Acoustics 총회는 약 18개월 주기로 개최되어 음향분야 국제표준의 제,개정을 논의하고 추진한다. 최근의 ISO/TC 43회의는 2014년 5월 19일부터 23일까지 독일 베를린 DIN에서 개최되었다. ISO/TC 43의 관련 작업반(WG 1, 8, 9)회의와 함께 ISO/TC 43/SC 1 Noise 및 ISO/TC 43/SC 2 Building Acoustics의 관련 WG 회의도 진행되었다. ISO/TC 43에서는 ISO 1999 소음성 난청 평가 관련 표준을 개정하였다. ISO/TC 43/SC 1 Noise에서는 도로용 자동차의 쿨링팬 소음 측정방법, 사격장에서의 청력손실 측정방법, 헤드? 사용시 소음레벨 가이드 라인에 대한 표준 제정에 대한 NP(New Proposal)이 채택되었다. ISO/TC 43/SC 2 Building Acoustics에서는 소음 방사 효율 측정방법에 대한 표준안 제정이 제안되었다. 또한 ISO 10848-1 ~ 4 개정안 추진이 의결되었다. 건축물의 소음 평가 등급(WG 27) 및 소음성능 표시제도(WG 29)와 관련된 회의가 새롭게 진행되었다. ISO/TC 43 및 관련 SC, WG 회의를 통해 음향, 소음 전반에 걸친 국제표준의 제,개정이 의결되었으나, 국내 전문가들의 관심과 적극 참여는 부족한 것으로 판단된다. 향후 음향, 소음의 기술 및 연구 선도를 위해서는 국제표준활동에 대한 적극적인 참여와 지원이 필요하다.

This paper introduces main activities of ISO/TC 108/SC 3 and published standards. Two working groups (WG 1 and WG 6) have been orgnized to review and revise ISO standards, specifically related to measurement and calibration subjects of vibration and shocks. A new joint working group (JWG1) with IEC/SC 47E (Semiconductor acceleration calibration) has started to deal with calibration methods for analog and digital output MEMS accelerometers. Finally, Published ISO standards, technically super-visored by ISO/TC 108/SC 3, are listed in this paper to help readers understand their main contents.

The subcommittee 3 (SC3) of Technical Committee 108 (TC 108) covers the calibration of mechanical vibration and shock measuring pickups and instruments. This paper introduces what KS codes are linked to the ISO standards developed by TC108 / SC3. It is shown that the KS codes do not fulfill the full set of ISO codes approved in the field of TC 108/SC3. Series of ISO standards established by the Working Group 6 (WG6) of SC3 are introduced. Main objectives of those WG 6 efforts are shown to replace the old versions of ISO 5347 series into new ISO 16063 series. Their features are briefly summarized in this paper. Finally, challenging technical issues underlying behind ISO TC108 / SC3 are addressed,, such as MEMS typed linear and angular vibration pickups.

ISO(the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, from some 120 countries. The technical work of ISO is highly decentralized, carried out in a hierarchy of some 2,700 technical committees(TC), sub-committees(SC) and working groups(WG). The results of the ISO work are published as International Standards. In this paper, main fields of work at the ISO/TC43/SCI are described.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies (NSB). The ISO standards are developed and processed within the technical committees (TC) or their subcommittees (SC) dealing with the different subject matters. The first technical committee, ISO/TC1, deals with screw threads and was created back in 1947. While, more recently, TC 309 was created to standardize organizational governance. The ISO technical committee in the field of metallic coatings was created in 1962 with the title ISO/TC107- Metallic and other inorganic coatings. This ISO/TC107 technical committee is dealing with the standardization of the characteristics of protective and decorative metallic coatings applied by electrolysis, fusion, vacuum or chemical means, mechanical deposition and ion plating. similarly, it also covers the standardization of the characteristics of protective and decorative non-metallic coatings (excluding paints and other organic coatings) on metal surface applied by electrolysis, fusion, vacuum or chemical means. Scope is further extended to the Standardization of the preparation of the substrates prior to the deposition of metallic and inorganic coatings. There are a total of 144 existing ISO standards published by this technical committee and has 19 participating countries (P-members) and 24 observing countries (O-members). Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS), being the secretariat of ISO/TC107, is constantly supporting this technical committee for the development of standards and related activities.

The scope of ISO/TC 108/SC 6, revised in accordance with Doc. ISO/TC 108/SC 6 N 35, September 1997, is as follows: Standardization in the field of vibration and shock generating systems, for test purposes (including environment, seismic and dynamic testing, calibration and diagnostics) as well as auxiliary equipment and instrumentation normally associated with it. Vibration and shock generating systems as an object of standardization within ISO/TC 108/SC 6 are only those systems that are used during vibration/shock testing to determine properties of a specimen. Vibration and shock systems being used in such processes as transportation, milling, compacting, metal working, etc., as parts of vibration control systems or household appliances and in health services, are not covered by ISO/TC 108/SC 6.

International Standardization for Vacuum pumps, vacuum instruments, and vacuum components has been established at ISO/TC 112 which is a technical committee of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) in the area of vacuum technology. This report shortly summarizes the structure of ISO/TC 112 and its activities on the standardization for vacuum technology. Also it introduces the brief contents of "specifications for hot cathode ionization gauges" and"Test procedure for vacuum valves" which are recently accepted as new proposals. These information on ISO/TC 112 would contribute to activate the development of vacuum technology as well as the participation for the international standardization in Korea.
