본 논문은 독일 Hamburg대학에서 필자가 수행한 연구 프로젝트인 DFN(Deutsches Forschungsnetz)-Application over ISDN의 일부로서 분산된 Resource의 공유를 위해 ISPBX(ISDN능력을 가진 PABX)를 이용한 근거리 ISDN-PC-Network(ISPBX-LAN)과 이것을 효율적 활용을 위한 단기접속모드(Short Hold Mode)를 소개하고, ISPBX-LAN의 성능을 사용자의 입장에서 기존의 LAN(Ethernet, Token-Ring)과 비교분석하였다.

본 고에서는 디지틀 이동통신 기술개발에 의한 FPLMTS의 구축시 검토하여 할 사항에 대하여 논하였다. ISDN의 개요와 이동통신계의 ISDN화에 따른 문제점, 디지틀 이동통신 개발현황 및 CCIR을 비롯한 국제표준기구에서의 표준화 동향에 관하여 소개하였으며, 디지틀 이동통신 시스팀 개발시 극복해야 할 과제를 제시하였다.

대용량 ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network)용 전전자 교환기 TDX-10 연구개발 사업의 궁극적 목적은 미래 통신망이 요구하는 다양한 음성 및 비음성 정보통신 서비스를 제공하고 정보의 교환, 가공, 축적 및 처리에 고도의 융통성을 부여할 수 있는 국내표준 전전자 교환기를 개발하여 통신투자의 경제적 통신운영기술 자립화를 달성하는데 있다. 현재 대용량 전전자 교환기인 TDX-10 ISDN의 상용화 단계의 마무리 업무가 진행중이며, 통신서비스의 다양화, 광대역화, 고속화를 위한 광대역통신망의 주축이 되는 ATM교환기가 개발중에 있다. 본 고에서는 TDX-10 ISDN 시스템개발단계에서 구현된 시스템 시험수행 과정 및 평가작업을 토대로한 체계적이며 전략적인 품질보증 활동에 관해 기술하였으며, 신뢰성 있는 시험결과를 도출할 수 있는 다양한 시험관리 기법과 그 결과를 분석하고 차후 시험 및 보완작업을 위한 제반 활동체계가 소개된다.

· 21세기 도고 정보화 사회에서의 위성통신은 현존 위성 시스템에서 주로 제공하는 국가간 장 거리 전화, 방송 중계 서비스 등을 포함한 광범위한 대용량 디지털 멀티미디어 서비스 형태 의 트래픽을 처리하여 재분배하는 고성능, 다기능 정보통신으로 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 전세계적으로 위성 수의 증가에 따른 위성궤도 부족과 주파수 자원의 고갈 등의 문제점을 야기시키게 되었다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 기존의 단순 중계기의 역할뿐만 아니라, 위성탑 재 IF/RF 스위칭 기술, 기저대역 신호처리 기술, 다중 빔 안테나 기술 등을 포함한 OBP 탑 재 위성 시스템이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기본적으로 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하고 주파수 재사용 기법을 적용한 다중 스폿 빔을 송수신하는 차세대 OBP 탑재 위성 B-ISDN 중계망 접속 방식을 설계하고, 설계된 위성 B-ISDN 중계망 다중 접속 방식의 성 능을 평가하였다.

본 논문은 ISDN 통신망에서 멀티미디어 통신 서비스를 제공하기 위해 단말에 사용되는 ISDN 시스템 칩 설계 및 단말 구현에 관한 것이다. 저가의 통신 단말을 구현하기 위하여 32 비트 RISC 프로세서인 ARM7 프로세서 코어를 중심으로 ISDNS S/T 인터페이스를 통한 통신망 접속 기능, 톤 발생 및 음성 코덱 기능, TDM 버스 정합 기능, PC 정합 기능을 가지는 ISDN 시스템 칩을 설계 및 개발하였고, 이 칩을 시험하기 위한 시험 프로그램 및 통신 단말 소프트웨어를 개발하였으며, 응용단말을 구현하여 자체 기능 시험 및 실제 망 접속 시험을 통하여 기능을 검증하였다.

In this raper we researched on the development methods and design of the B-ISDN protocol embedded IP-PBX System with the computers interconnected by the Internet for the previous telephone exchange and communication. We designed the structure of the user terminal and exchange sewer of the IP-PBX System, defined message and data structure for call control, and designed call control state transition and call control message flows for user's communication. And we researched on the message flows for supplementary services and the call control for multiple calls.

Various types of B-ISDN bearer connection can take place according to access types of endpoint equipments in call and number of connectio between endpoints. In this paper, performance of application signalling protocol on three basic facilities of B-ISDN CS-2 signalling system, such as connection of point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multiconnection call, is evaluated and compared. For performacne evaluation, experimental model of B-ISDN application signalling protocol is implemented and respective message processing time of each process is measured. By applying message processing time to local exchange system, cal processing capacity of application signalling protocol on three basic connection types is evaluated by simulation method. In this paper, local exchange system is considered to have two ATM NNI links and four ATM UNI links.

The terrestrial/satellite hybrid network may replace or supply the terrestrial network in some areas or certain application. Futhermore, it can play an important role in the development of B-ISDN due to their features of flexible wide coverage, independent of ground distances and geographical constraints, multiple access and multipoint broadcast. Also, satellite have the capability to supply terrestrial ATM and B-ISDN with flexible links for access networks as well as trunk networks. This paper describes the design and verification of the interworking protocol between terrestrial B-ISDN and satellite network. For the verification, the designed interworking protocol is modeled by Petri-net and analyzed by reachability tree.

In this study, we propose a integrated type concentrator and compare with the separated type concentrating method, to accommodate 2B+D ISDN basic access traffic. This system's blocking probabilities are analyzed in terms of each class of bit rate, number of output channels, number of subscriber lines, and offered traffic. The result shows that the proposed method can significantly increase the maximum number of subscriber lines connecting to the system via a T1 carrier, compared with that of the "CCITT proposed" multiplexing scheme or the separated type concentrating method.ng method.
