무선 센서 네트워크에서 가변주기를 이용한 적응적인 전송파워 제어 기법 (Adaptive Link Quality Estimation in Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 무선 센서 네트워크에서는 전송파워 제어를 이용하여 전력소비를 줄이고 채널간의 간섭을 줄일 수 있다. 무선 링크의 품질은 시간 및 공간적인 상황에 따라 변화하기 때문에 링크의 실패가 빈번하다. 기존의 전송파워 제어 기법은 링크 품질 변화에 적응할 수 있도록 주기적으로 이웃 노드와 비컨 패킷을 주고 받아 동적으로 전송파워를 조절하도록 하였다. 하지만 전송파워를 조절하는 주기에 따라서 링크 품질의 변화에 적용하는 시간과 트래픽 및 에너지 오버헤드에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 링크의 품질변화에 따른 동적인 전송파워 제어 기법과 전송파워 제어 주기를 변경하는 기법을 제안한다. 이를 통하여 링크가 불안정할 때에는 전송파워 제어 주기를 감소시켜 민첩하게 링크 품질을 유지하며, 링크가 안정할 때는 전송파워 제어 주기를 증가시켜 이에 따른 프로토콜의 오버헤드를 줄이고자 하였다.

보이드 분포 형태에 따른 LDPE의 부분 방전 특성 연구 (A Study on the partial Discharge Characteristics according to the Distribution pattern of voids within LDPE)

  • Internal voids located within an insulation will arise partial discharge that causes local breakdown and even the entire insulation breakdown. For HV apparatuses, it is usual case that several voids are formed within non-uniform electric field condition rather than single void within uniform field, which can be solved analitically. The purpose of this work is to study partial discharge and breakdown characteristics of an insulation according to the distribution pattern of two disc-type voids that are located within non-uniform field. The results from numerical field analysis and experiments show that the electric field within the voids decreases as they are arranged more serially, which accordingly results in the increase of partial discharge inception field(PDIF) much higher than that of single void model. With parallel arranged voids, PDIF is almost the same as that of single void model. On the other hand, AC breakdown strength decreases as voids are arranged more serially, which is a natural result considering the reduction of effective insulation thickness. For parallel voids, this effect cannot he noticed where as they show different pattern compared with single void and serial void models in $\Phi$-Q-N analysis. Considering these results may leads us to the conclusion that, in the evaluation of insulating products through PD test, it is not sufficient to determine only PDIV or existence of PD at predetermined voltage level. We could evaluate more accurately by considering all the available data such as PDIV, PD magnitude, PD occurring phase, number of PD pulses, and etc.

개심술후 오버드라이브 심방페이싱(Over-drive atrial pacing)의 심방세동발생억제에 대한 연구 (Effects of Over-drive Pacing on the Suppression of Recurring the Atrial Fibrillation after open Heart Surgery)

  • Atrial fibrillation is characterized by beat to beat irregularity of shape, size, conduction time and polarity. The mechanism of atrial fibrillation can be explained by so called "Multiple wavelet theory". The adverse effect of atrial fibrillation is the decrease of cardiac output by absence of atrial kick[10 ~ 15%] and the possibility of thrombosis in the left atrium which is dangerous to develop the thromboembolism is increased. The present study was designed to assess the effect of overdrive pacing on the suppression of recurring of atrial fibrillation after open heart surgery and the results were summarized as follows: 1. There were no significant differences of factors between converting patients and non-converting patients to normal sinus rhythm by electric cardioversion after open heart surgery. 2. Among converting patients to normal sinus rhythm, there were no significant differences of factors between study group and control group. 3. Cardiothoracic Ratio on the preoperative chest film was significantly larger in the patients of recurring atrial fibrillation within 72hrs than in the patients of maintaining normal sinus rhythm. [61.7$\pm$ 1.4% vs 67.7$\pm$2.4%, p=0.03] 4. There was a significant difference of suppressive effects between overdrive pacing group and control group among recurred cases until 24, 48, and 72hours [Fisher`s exact test ; p=0.037, p=0.076, p=0.53, respectively] 5. There was a difference of the delay of recurring of atrial fibrillation between study group and control group among recurred cases within 72 hours.[53.4$\pm$6.9hr vs. 19.3$\pm$3.8 hr, p<0.01] We think that the overdrive pacing may suppress the natural pacemaker and the converted normal sinus rhythm is maintained longer than control group during critical immediate postoperative period.ve period.

  • This paper proposes a cooling system using self tuning PI controller for improving the output of BIPV module. The temperature characteristics in regard to improving the output of BIPV system has rarely been studied up to now but some researchers only presented the method using a ventilator. The cooling system efficiency of BIPV module applied to a ventilator mainly depends on the weather such as wind and insolation etc. Because the cooling system of BIPV module using a ventilator is so sensitive, that is being set off by wind speed at all time but is unable to operate in the nominal operating cell temperature(NOCT) which is able to make the maximum output. The paper proposes the cooling system using thermoelectron by self tuning PI controller so as to solve such problems. The thermoelectron control of self tuning PI controller can be controlled independently in the outside environment because that is performed by micro-controller. The temperature control of thermoelectron, also, can be operated around NOCT through algorism of the temperature control. Therefore, outputs of the whole system increase and the efficiency rises. The paper demonstrates the validity of proposed method by comparing the data obtained through a experiment of the cooling method of BIPV using a ventilator and proposed thermoelectron

입사각에 따른 에칭 기판의 분광특성분석 (Analysis of the Spectrum Characteristics of Etched Glass Surface by Incident Angle)

  • 태양전지의 표면으로 입사되는 빛은 태양전지의 내부로 모두 흡수되지 못하고 그 일부가 기판 표면에서 반사되어 손실이 발생한다. 때문에 기판 표면의 반사손실을 줄이거나 태양전지 내부의 생성 전하를 증기시키기 위한 연구가 많이 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 유리 기판의 표면을 습식 에칭하여 표면을 거칠게 형성하는 표면 처리를 진행하였으며, 거칠어진 표면의 구조적 특성을 분석하였다. 그리고 빛이 입사되는 유리 기판의 각도를 변화하면서 그에 따른 분광특성 또한 분석하였다. 입사되는 빛이 에칭된 표면으로 조사될 때 다중반사에 의해서 유리 기판 내부에 빛을 재흡수할 확률이 증가함을 확인하였다. 또 유리 기판의 각도를 변화하면서 빛을 입사할 때 빛의 투과 및 반사 성능은 변화하지 않음을 확인하였다.

로봇 소프트웨어 컴포넌트의 실행 모니터링/효율적인 데이터 관리방안 (Health Monitoring and Efficient Data Management Method for the Robot Software Components)

  • As robotics systems are becoming more complex there is the need to promote component based robot development, where systems can be constructed as the composition and integration of reusable building block. One of the most important challenges facing component based robot development is safeguarding against software component failures and malfunctions. The health monitoring of the robot software is most fundamental factors not only to manage system at runtime but also to analysis information of software component in design phase of the robot application. And also as a lot of monitoring events are occurred during the execution of the robot software components, a simple data treatment and efficient memory management method is required. In this paper, we propose an efficient events monitoring and data management method by modeling robot software component and monitoring factors based on robot software framework. The monitoring factors, such as component execution runtime exception, Input/Output data, execution time, checkpoint-rollback are deduced and the detail monitoring events are defined. Furthermore, we define event record and monitor record pool suitable for robot software components and propose a efficient data management method. To verify the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed approach, a monitoring module and user interface has been implemented using OPRoS robot software framework. The proposed monitoring module can be used as monitoring tool to analysis the software components in robot design phase and plugged into self-healing system to monitor the system health status at runtime in robot systems.

On vibration properties of functionally graded nano-plate using a new nonlocal refined four variable model

  • In this paper, a new nonlocal hyperbolic refined plate model is presented for free vibration properties of functionally graded (FG) plates. This nonlocal nano-plate model incorporates the length scale parameter which can capture the small scale effect. The displacement field of the present theory is chosen based on a hyperbolic variation in the in-plane displacements through the thickness of the nano-plate. By dividing the transverse displacement into the bending and shear parts, the number of unknowns and equations of motion of the present theory is reduced, significantly facilitating structural analysis. The material properties are assumed to vary only in the thickness direction and the effective properties for the FG nano-plate are computed using Mori-Tanaka homogenization scheme. The governing equations of motion are derived based on the nonlocal differential constitutive relations of Eringen in conjunction with the refined four variable plate theory via Hamilton's principle. Analytical solution for the simply supported FG nano-plates is obtained to verify the theory by comparing its results with other available solutions in the open literature. The effects of nonlocal parameter, the plate thickness, the plate aspect ratio, and various material compositions on the dynamic response of the FG nano-plate are discussed.

소듐 라우릴 에톡시 설페이트(SLES) 베이스 액체세정제의 겔링성 및 겔링방지 특성에 대한 연구 (Study on the Gelling Formation and Anti-gelling Properties of Liquid Detergent Based on Sodium Lauryl Ethoxy Sulfate (SLES))

  • SLES를 주성분으로 사용한 액체세정제는 공기 중에 노출하여 방치하는 경우 표면에 피막이 형성되는 경우가 있다. 이는 제형 중의 수분이 증발하면서 세정제 주성분인 계면활성제의 농도변화로 인한 미셀의 상변화로 판단된다. SLES는 30~60% 영역에서 강한 육방정계 액정상이 나타나고, 60% 이상에서는 라멜라 액정상을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 SLES 주성분으로 사용된 액체세정제의 표면 겔링 현상은 내용물에서 수분 증발로 인하여 발생하는 현상이다. 액체세정제에서 수분이 증발되면서 계면활성제의 농도가 높아지는 결과였다. 표면 겔링 상태는 편광현미경으로 관찰한 결과 혼합 계면활성제 시스템의 액정상으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 SLES를 주성분으로 사용하는 처방에서 겔링 필름 형성을 방지하기 위하여 수용성이 좋은 AOS를 증량하고 액정형성을 방지할 수 있는 이차 계면활성제인 SAS를 도입하고, 하이드로트로프로 SXS와 PEG1500을 적용하였다. 이와 같이 개선된 액체세정제 처방4와 5는 공기 중에 노출되어도 표면에 피막이 형성되는 겔링현상을 방지할 수 있었다.

L-band 30-MW 클라이스트론용 고출력 펄스트랜스포머의 파라미터 평가 (Parameter Evaluation of High-Power Pulse Transformer for L-Band 30-MW Klystron)

  • An L-band Linear Accelerator System for E-beam sterilization is under construction for bio-technology application. The klystron-modulator system as an RF microwave source has an important role as major components to offer the system reliability for long time steady-state operations. A PFN line type pulse generator with a peak power of 71.5-MW, $7\;{\mu}s$, 285 pps is required to drive a high-power klystron. The high power pulse transformer has a function of transferring pulse energy from a pulsed power source to a high power load. The pulse transformer producing a pulse with a peak voltage of 275 kV is required to produce 30-MW peak and 60 kW average RF output power at the frequency of 1.3-GHz. We have designed the high power pulse transformer with 1:13 step-up ratio. The peak and average power capability is 71.5-MW (275 kV, 260 A at load side with $7\;{\mu}s$ pulse width) and 130 kW, respectively. In this paper, we present measurements and its analysis on the design parameters, and an initial test result as well as a design concept on the high-power pulse transformer.

형광안저 조영영상에서 선택적 영역침식을 이용한 맥락막혈관영상 향상 (Enhancement of a Choroid Vessel Using Conditional Erosion in ICGA Image)

  • 본 논문에서는 망막혈관의 밝기를 저하시킴으로써 맥락막혈관을 향상시킬 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 맥락막혈관신생 현상은 실명과 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있으며 이 현상의 주요 특징은 맥락막에 새로운 혈관의 발생이다. 인도시아닌 형광안저 조영영상에서 맥락막혈관의 밝기보다 망막혈관의 밝기가 더 크기 때문에 맥락막혈관을 관찰하기가 어렵다. 따라서 정화한 진단을 위해서는 영상에서 맥락막혈관의 밝기가 향상될 필요가 있다. 제안한 향상 방법은 3단계에 걸쳐 수행된다. 먼저, 다중크기 향상기법, 히스테리시스 문턱화, KNN 분류법을 이용하여 망막혈관을 검출하고 이로 부터 망막혈관 마스크영상을 만든다. 그런 다음, 마스크영역이 없애질 때까지 마스크영역과 제안한 선택적 영역침식방식을 이용하여 망막혈관의 밝기를 저하시킨다. 최종적으로 처리된 영상에 대하여 맥락막혈관의 밝기를 향상시켰다. 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법이 안정적이고 효과적임을 확인하였다.
