In this paper we consider Internet Protocol Tele-Vision (IPTV) Service that started recently in Korea. IPTV makes it possible to watch high quality TV programs and a lot of multimedia contents with TV by way of Internet. The service providers are interested in the factors that influence the diffusion of new service such as IPTV. We therefore search the functional-attribute that would influence the acceptance of IPTV service, and propose a model for analyzing the relationship between the attributes and the intention of buying. The model is based on the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Survey results show that the significant functional attributes influencing the intention of buying are contents variety and convenience.

방대한 양의 분산 멀티미디어 자원에 대한 액세스를 제공하는 하이퍼미디어 기능을 사용한 IPTV의 성공은 영상 정보 관리 시스템의 구성요소로써 IPTV의 영상 정보 검색의 효율성 제고 및 성능향상을 제공한다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 현존하는 하이퍼미디어 시스템에 거의 없는 필요한 모든 기능을 제공하는 방법을 보였다. 개방형 분산 멀티미디어 자원 통합 모델의 모든 기능을 제공해주기 위하여 개방형 분산 하이퍼미디어 시스템 타입의 IPTV 정보 계층 구조와 양질의 서비스 계층을 통하여 융통성 있고 확장 가능한 분산 멀티미디어 정보 시스템이 개발될 수 있는 범위 내의 모듈러 프레임워크(modular framework)로써 행동하도록 설계되었다. 개방형 분산 하이퍼미디어 프레임워크 모델은 QoS 제공을 위하여 이질적인 분산 멀티미디어 자원 통합의 하이퍼미디어 프레임워크 모델을 하이퍼미디어 세션과 함께 제시함으로써 넓게 분산되어 있는 자원에 대하여 투명하게 접근할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.

Current communication and broadcasting services are moved to integrated convergence service. So IPTV(Internet Protocol based TeleVision) services are growth rapidly. Traditional TV were provide simplex service. but IPTV will provide duplex service that is possible of interaction with TV and audience. Therefore current researches are focusing the Social TV service. at this point, we see the trend of Social TV system for research and implementation.

IPTV란 Internet Protocol TeleVision의 머릿글자의 조합이며, IP 네트워크상의 서버들이 제공하는 콘텐츠(contents)를 시청할 모니터이다. 먼저, 미국의 홈 쇼핑 네트워크, 일본의 액트빌라, MS Mediaroom 솔류션, MS Mediaroom 적용 사례 U-verse를 통한 IPTV 활용 사례를 살펴보고 이어, IPTV 양방향 서비스 기술로 PC나 핸드폰에 이어 새로운 콘텐츠 채널로서 기대되는 TV용 위젯에 대한 동향을 살펴본 후 관련 기술의 로드맵을 정리하고자 한다. 한편, 적기(time to market)에 시장이 요구하는 제품이나 차세대 기술을 파악하는 데 필요한 기술 로드맵이 관련 분야의 전문 종사자들을 통하여 확인, 검증, 개선 및 수정을 거치면서 공론화되는 구조가 형성되기를 제안하기 위하여 일상적 기술 사례 조사 기술동향 파악 상세 기술 분석을 통한 로드맵 도출의 한 사례 혹은 템플릿으로 본 고를 작성하였다.
