오늘날 초고속정보통신 환경 변화에 따라 다양한 차세대 신규 정보통신서비스가 제공되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 음성과 데이터를 통합한 VoIP를 이용한 서비스에 대해 해외의 망 구축 및 응용 사례를 조사 분석하였고, 그 결과를 이용하여 국내 공공기관의 VoIP 서비스를 이용한 콜센터 서비스 제공 방안을 제안하였다.

근래에 원격지 감시와 제어하는 기술이 발달하고 있다. 또한 홈 네트워크 서비스의 보편화와 초고속 통시망의 폭넓은 확대로 인하여 디지털 비디오 기술을 이용한 감시체계가 점차 늘어나고 있다. 웹에서 제공하던 감시 체계를 사용자가 좀 더 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 기존의 웹을 기반으로 하던 디지털 감시 체계에 개인 단말기를 이용하여 사용자가 이동 중에도 인터넷이 되는 곳에서 이 모듈을 제어할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

위성통신은 이동통신처럼 많은 사람이 사용하지는 않으나 군사용, 재난용, 원격 교육용 및 의료용, 도서 지역, 인프라 취약지역에서의 인터넷 제공 등 공공성, 통신서비스를 위하여 꼭 필요한 기술이다. 하지만 대부분의 통신 모뎀은 네트워크 통신을 할 때 IP주소가 매번 바뀌는 유동 IP로 할당받아 서버와의 양방향 통신에서의 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 단말 장치의 제어기로 라즈베리 파이를 사용하여 위성 모뎀과 PPP 프로토콜을 통한 네트워크 통신을 하였으며 유동 IP를 갖는 모뎀에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 위성 모뎀의 문자 메시지 기능을 이용하였다. 이를 통하여 Thuraya 정지궤도 위성을 이용한 양방향 데이터 링크를 구현하였다.

Performance of TCP can be severely degraded in Mobile IP-based wireless networks where packet losses not related to network congestion occur frequently during inter-subnetwork handoffs by user mobility. To solve such a problem in the networks using Mobile IP, the packet buffering method at a base station(BS) recovers those packets dropped during handoff by forwarding the buffered packets at the old BS to the mobile users. But, when the mobile user moves to a congested BS in a new foreign subnetwork, those buffered packets forwarded by the old BS are dropped and TCP transmission performance of a mobile user degrades severely. In this paper, we propose a Modified BLUE(MBLUE) buffer required at a BS to increase TCP throughput in Mobile IP-based networks. When a queue length exceed a threshold and congestion grows, MBLUE increases its packet drop probability. But, when a TCP connection is added at new BS by a handoff, the old BS marks the buffered packets. And new BS receives the marked packets without dropping. Simulation results show that MBLUE buffer reduces congestion during handoffs and increases TCP throughputs.

The VoIP(Voice over IP) has been worldwide used and already put to practical use in many fields. However, it is needed to ensure secret of VoIP call in a special situation. It is relatively difficult to eaves-drop the commonly used PSTN in that it is connected with 1:1 circuit. However, it is difficult to ensure the secret of call on Internet because many users can connect to the Internet at the same time. Therefore, this paper suggests a new model of Internet telephone for eavesdrop prevention enabling VoIP(using SIP protocol) to use the VPN protocol and establish the probability of practical use comparing it with Internet telephone.

In this study, using 16 ORA-IP (Ocean Reanalysis Intercomparison Project) data, we investigated spatial and temporal changes of net surface heat flux in the East Asian seas and presented a new ensemble net surface heat flux index. The ensemble net surface heat flux index is produced considering the data distribution and the standard deviation of each ORA-IP. From the correlation analysis with air temperature averaged over the Korean Peninsula, ensemble net heat flux around the Korea Strait shows the highest correlation (0.731) with a 3 month time lag. For the correlation study regarding precipitation over the Korean Peninsula, it also shows significant correlation especially in winter and spring seasons. Similar results are also found in comparison with climate indices (AO, PDO, and NINO3.4), but ensemble net surface heat flux data in winter season reveals the strongest correlation patterns especially with winter temperature and spring precipitation.

기업이나 학교 및 공공 기관에서 전력 절감형 컴퓨터를 신규 구매하는 비용을 치루지 않고, 조직원들의 절전 교육만으로도 큰 효과를 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이 교육은 상당한 시간이 걸린 다는 문제가 있다. 조직원 전체 컴퓨터 전원 관리를 하는 시스템도 출시되고 있지만, 설치 하기 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 자동 종료 소프트웨어를 설치하지 않는 컴퓨터는 DHCP 서버가 IP 주소를 제한적으로 공급하여, 조직원 들이 전원 관리 시스템에 능동적으로 참여하도록 유도하고자 한다.

Realtime applications like VoIP(Voice over IP) in All-IP networks need smooth handoffs in order to minimize or eliminate packet loss as a Mobile Host(MH) transitions between network links. In this paper, we design a new dynamic buffering(DB) mechanism for IPv6 by which an MH can request that the router on its current subnet buffers packets on its behalf while the MH completes registration procedures with the router of a new subnet. Performance results show that our proposed buffering scheme with a dynamic buffer space allocation is quite appropriate for mobile Internet, or the All-IP environment in terms of the datagram loss rate.

최근 IP 네트워크를 통한 유무선 통신 기술, 멀티미디어, 그리고 영상 처리 기술의 발전은 IPTV, VoIP와 같은 여러 형태의 서비스를 가능하게 하였다. 이러한 서비스들의 대부분은 실시간 동영상 및 음성 서비스를 바탕으로 하고 있으며 대용량의 대역폭뿐만 아니라 높은 수준의 서비스 품질을 요구한다. 이에 대한 대안으로 QoS 보장 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지는 가운데 아직까지 QoS 보장에 따른 실시간 영상 서비스 품질 변화에 대한 테스트 결과가 미흡하다. 본 논문에서는 QoS 보장에 따른 실시간 영상 서비스의 품질을 사용자 입장에서 객관적 화질 측정방법인 PSNR을 이용하여 측정하고 평가한다. 또한, 현재의 기반망인 IPv4망과 차세대 인터넷 프로토콜인 IPv6망을 고려하여 현실적으로 가장 높은 품질의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 IP망의 QoS 보장을 제안하고자 한다.

IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)는 전송 및 서비스들로부터 제어 기능들을 분리하도록 설계되었으며, 이러한 구조를 바탕으로 보장된 QoS(Quality of Service) 및 관리 기능을 수행하여 언제 어디서나 인터넷의 콘텐츠 및 텔레컴 서비스들을 접근할 수 있도록 제공하는 프레임워크 이다. SDP(Service Delivery Platform)는 기존 및 신규 서비스들을 효율적인 방법으로 전개하기 위하여 공통의 프로토콜 및 인터페이스를 제공한다. 따라서 IMS 상의 SDP는 응용 서비스들 사이의 상호작용을 단순화하여 수행할 수 있으며, 이러한 인터페이스를 통하여 기 구축된 네트워크와 신규 IMS 네트워크 사이에서 교량 역할을 수행한다. 멀티미디어 네트워크 통신을 풍부하도록 구축하기 위하여, 모바일 네트워크상에서 전개될 수 있는 후보 서비스들 가운데 대표적이며 독특한 반 이중 방식의 VoIP(Voice Over IP) 응용 서비스로 고려되는 PoC(Push-to-talk over Cellular) 서비스를 전개하려 한다. 본 논문에서는 PoC 서비스 및 구조의 장점을 조사하고, PoC 서비스 전개를 통한 실행을 통한 가능성 및 실현을 확인하기 위하여 프로토타입(prototype)을 구축하는 실질적 구현에 집중하였다.
