  • 격자 벡터 양자화의 비 손실 과정에서는 생성된 코드단어들을 radius 열과 Index 열로 열거한다. radius 열은 run-length 부호화한 한 다음 Entropy 부호화한다. 또한 index 열들은 이진의 고정길이로 표현한다. 비트율이 증가함에 따라 index 비트는 선형적으로 증가하여서 부호화 성능을 감소시킨다. 이 논문에서는, 넓은 비트율의 범위에서 index 비트를 줄이기 위해서, set partitioning 방식을 채택한 새로운 열거 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 제안된 열거 방법은 큰 index 값을 작은 값들을 천이 시켜서 index 비트를 줄인다. 제안된 비손실 기법을 웨이블릿 기반의 영상 부호화에 적용시켰을 때, 0.3 bits/pixel 이상의 비트룰에서 기존의 비손실 부호화 방식보다 10%이상의 비트율을 감소시켰다.

경기종합지수 보완을 위한 AI기반의 합성보조지수 연구 (A Study on AI-based Composite Supplementary Index for Complementing the Composite Index of Business Indicators)

  • Purpose: The main objective of this research is to construct an AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model to achieve accurate predictions of the Composite Index of Business Indicators. By incorporating various economic indicators as independent variables, the ACSI model enables the prediction and analysis of both the leading index (CLI) and coincident index (CCI). Methods: This study proposes an AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model that leverages diverse economic indicators as independent variables to forecast leading and coincident economic indicators. To evaluate the model's performance, advanced machine learning techniques including MLP, RNN, LSTM, and GRU were employed. Furthermore, the study explores the potential of employing deep learning models to train the weights associated with the independent variables that constitute the composite supplementary index. Results: The experimental results demonstrate the superior accuracy of the proposed composite supple- mentary index model in predicting leading and coincident economic indicators. Consequently, this model proves to be highly effective in forecasting economic cycles. Conclusion: In conclusion, the developed AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model successfully predicts the Composite Index of Business Indicators. Apart from its utility in management, economics, and investment domains, this model serves as a valuable indicator supporting policy-making and decision-making processes related to the economy.

기상학적, 농업학적, 수문학적 가뭄지수를 이용한 청미천 유역의 가뭄 분석 (Drought analysis of Cheongmicheon watershed using meteorological, agricultural and hydrological drought indices)

  • 본 연구는 1985년부터 2015년까지 지속기간에 따른 청미천 유역의 가뭄을 분석하였다. 가뭄의 정량적 평가를 위해 기상학적 가뭄지수와 수문학적 가뭄지수를 사용하였다. 기상학적 가뭄지수로는 강수량을 변수로 하는 SPI(Standarized Precipitation Index)와 강수량과 증발산량을 변수로 하는 SPEI(Standarized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index)를 사용하였다. SWAT 모형의 모의를 통해 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 농업학적 가뭄지수인 PDSI(Palmer Drought Severity Index)와 수문학적 가뭄지수인 SDI(Streamflow Drought Index)를 적용하였다. 산정 결과, 극한 및 평균 가뭄의 평균에서 2015년과 2014년이 가장 가뭄에 취약함이 확인되었다. 빈도분석에 따른 가뭄의 변동성은 서로 다른 형태를 보였다. 또한 상관분석에서 극한 가뭄 및 평균 가뭄은 PDSI를 제외한 SPI, SPEI, SDI 가뭄지수간에는 높은 상관관계가 확인되었다. 하지만 각 가뭄지수는 서로 다른 극한가뭄의 시기 및 강도를 보였다. 따라서 가뭄분석시 다양한 특성을 지닌 가뭄지수를 활용하는 것이 필요하다.

비만도와 실루엣(Silhouette) 분류에 따른 20대 여성의 체형 연구 (A Study on the Somatotype of Women in Their Twenties by Degree of Obesity and Classification of Silhouette)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of women's body somatotypes by direct measurements. Through the classification of degree of obesity and silhouette, women in their 20s who have a great interest in body somatotype can grasp their real somatotype and recognize their obesity rate and silhouette easily. The results are as follows: 1. Average sizes of subjects for this study were: height 160.3cm, weight 52.2kg, bust 83.7cm, waist 65.7cm, hips 91.1cm. And average values of each body mass index were: BMI 20.3, Rohrer Index 1.27, Vervaeck Index 84.8. 2. For the BMI value, the Average Numeric Index of normal somatotype was the highest, 76.9%. The Rohrer Index of underweight somatotype was 34.3% and the Average Numeric Index was 1.12. In the Vervaeck Index, underweight somatotype was 35.7%, and the average Numeric Index was 79.1, while the overweight somatotype was 7.4% of the Vervaeck Index and 100.8 of the Average Numeric Index. So the index which had the largest range of normal values from the same subjects, was the BMI, then the Rohrer Index, and finally, the Vervaeck Index in that order. 3. In the result of sorting bodies with silhouettes, when drop value were used to sort, N type (normal somatotype) was 69.4%, H type (one has similar sizes in waist size and hips) was 20.4% and A type (one has big hips) was 10.2% in that order. Among people in their early 20s, A type was 12.1%. H type was high, 22.8%, among women in their late 20s. When Sinozaki's method of classifying body types was used, ideal somatotype was 86.6%, A type was 7.4%, I type was 5.6% and X type was 0.5%. Women in their late 20s showed higher rates of ideal somatotype, the rates of A type and I type were lower than women in their early 20s.

공간스케일 변화에 따른 생물다양성 평가 -강원도 백두대간 보호구역을 대상으로- (Evaluation of Biodiversity Based on Changes of Spatial Scale -A Case Study of Baekdudaegan Area in Kangwondo-)

  • This research was conducted on the conservation area of Baekdudaegan, Kangwondo under the purpose of evaluating bio-diversity according to the changes of spatial scale, using GIS data and spatial filtering method. The diversity index was calculated based on the information of species of The $5^{th}$ forest type map using Shannon-weaver index (H'), evenness index ($E_i$) and richness index ($R_i$). The diversity index was analyzed and compared according to the changes of 12 spatial scales from Kernel size $3{\times}3$ to $73{\times}73$ and basin unit. As for H' and $R_i$, spatial scale increased as diversity index decreased, while $E_i$ decreases gradually. H' and $R_i$ was highest; each 1.1 and 0.6, when the Kernel size was $73{\times}73$, while $E_i$ was 0.2, the lowest. When you look at according to the basin unit, for large basin unit, 'YeongDong' region shows higher diversity index than 'YeongSeo' region. For middle basin unit, 'Gangneung Namdaecheon' region, and for small basin unit, 'Gangneung Namdaecheon' and 'Gangneung Ohbongdaem' region shows high diversity index. When you look at the relationship between diversity index and Geographic factors, H' shows positive relation to curvature and sunshine factor while shows negative to elevation, slope, hillshade, and wetness index. Also $E_i$ was similar to the relationship between H' and Geographic factor. Meanwhile, $R_i$ shows positive relationship to curvature and sunshine factor, while negative to elevation, slope, hillshade, and wetness index. macro unit diversity index evaluation was possible through the GIS data and spatial filtering, and it can be a good source for local biosphere conservation policy making.

건강상태 평가를 위한 지수 개발: 헬스인덱스 (A Suggestion on Evaluating Personal Health State: Health Index)

  • A health index was proposed that evaluates personal health state from both measured physiological variables and survey questions. Four health indices were defined such as cardiovascular index, stress index, obesity index, and management index. The total health index was calculated by summing these four health indices. Physiological variables such as blood pressure, heart rate variability(HRV), accelerated photoplethysmograph(APG), and body fat percentage were non-invasively measured and a survey questionnaire that asks personal health state, exercise intensity, and food preference was developed. The suggested health index was applied to thirty eight persons including 30 patients and 8 normal persons with an average age of 51.8. The average health index was estimated to be 75.1 out of 100 points. Young age group(below 50) and men group showed higher health indices than the aged(over 50) and women groups. The correlation coefficient between the cardiovascular index and stress index was found to be 0.513, which means stress is related to cardiovascular health state. The correlation coefficient between the measurements and survey questions was 0.385 for the cardiovascular index. It was as low as 0.182 for the stress index. More case studies may improve correlations between measurements and survey questions, and then, the current health index system may develop as an effective tool to evaluate personal health state.

우리나라 농촌마을 경관생태학적 특성에 따른 귀화식물 분포 특성 (Distribution Characteristics of Naturalized Plants According to Characteristics of Landscape Ecology in Rural Village of Korea)

  • 인간 활동이 생태계의 훼손과 생물다양성의 변화에 미치는 영향을 경관생태학적 측면에서 분석하고 해석하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 35개 농촌마을을 대상으로 자연생태계의 교란정도를 알 수 있는 귀화식물분포현황을 조사하였다. 대상지에 대한 토지이용 현황도를 제작하고 이를 바탕으로 경관지수를 이용하여 경관생태학적특성을 정량화하였다. 이를 바탕으로 대상지의 경관지수와 귀화식물 분포특성의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 경관지수는 공간분석 프로그램인 FRAGSTATS를 이용하여 산출하였으며 귀화식물의 분포특성은 Urbanization Index와 Naturalization Index를 이용하였다. 연구 결과 귀화율과 패치밀도, 귀화율과 가장자리밀도, 귀화율과 면적가중평균형태지수 등이 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며 귀화율과 핵심면적백분율, 귀화율과 평균핵심지역 등이 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

한식 식이패턴 평가지표(Kdiet-index)와 대사성질환과의 상관관계 - 2017 국민건강영양조사(KNHANES) - (Correlation between Korean Food Pattern Index (Kdiet-index) and Metabolic Disease - 2017 KNHANES -)

  • This study was performed to develop a Kdiet-index based on the definitions and characteristics of traditional Korean food. The Korean Food Pattern Index (Kdiet-index) for diseases was applied using dietary data from the 2017 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) and the association between Kdiet-index and metabolic disease was confirmed. The study subjects were 1,971 Korean adults aged >40, and the components were classified according to 14 criteria used to establish the Kdiet-index. Main ingredients up to the top 3 were designated using dish names, ingredients, and contents using KNHANES dietary data. Kdiet-index was classified using scores of ≤3 points, 4-7 points, and ≥8 points and total Kdiet-index were calculated by summing dietary scores. Correlations between Kdiet-index and obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes were analyzed. The odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) for obesity were 0.531, 0.385~0.732 and for elevated cholesterol (≥240 mg/dL) indices were 0.471, 0.282~0.788, respectively, which showed a significant decreased in the risk for each disease for Kdiet-index of ≥8 points. This study confirms that metabolically related clinical results improved significantly as Kdiet-index increased and that higher Korean food pattern indices are associated with lower risks of metabolic disease

  • Nagata and Higman proved that any nil-algebra of finite nilindex is nilpotent of finite index. The Nagata-Higman Theorem can be formulated in terms of T-ideals. TheT-ideal generated by $a^n$ for all $a{\in}A$ is also generated by the symmetric polynomials. The symmetric polynomials play an importmant role in analyzing nil-algebra. We construct the incidence matrix with the symmetric polynomials. Using this incidence matrix, we determine the nilpotency index of nil-algebra of nil-index 3.

  • This paper presents impact factors of domestic journals in mechanical engineering area to present an objective data for journal evaluation. For this purpose, reference data of 47 Korean journals are databased and analyzed. From the developed database, impact factor, immediacy index and self citation index are calculated.
