기능변화를 반영한 서울어린이대공원 조성녹지의 식재 리뉴얼 방향성 연구 (A Study on the Direction of Planting Renewal in the Green Area of Seoul Children's Grand Park Reflecting Functional Changes)

  • 기후변화 대응, 탄소중립 전략, 도시열섬, 미세먼지, 생물다양성 증진 등 환경이슈에 대한 해결책으로 도시녹지와 수목의 가치가 중요해지고 있으며 다양한 연구들이 도시환경개선을 위한 수목의 효과를 다루고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 도시환경개선 측면에서 식재수종, 식재구조, 식재밀도, 식재기반의 선행연구를 종합적으로 고찰하여 도시공원 조성녹지의 식재 리뉴얼 방향성을 제안하고 이를 리뉴얼 계획에 적용해 조경수목을 통한 도시환경개선 효과를 제고하는 데 목적이 있다. 서울시 내 대규모 근린공원인 서울어린이대공원의 식재현황을 현장조사하고 조사자료를 근거로 식재기능평가를 했으며 식재기능개선 필요지역을 중첩 도출하였다. 식재기능평가는 공원기능 설정, 공간기능에 따른 식재개념, 식재현황 단계별로 수행하였고, 연구의 결과인 기능변화에 따른 식재 리뉴얼 방향은 식재기능평가 단계별로 도출하였다. 공원기능 설정은 녹지율을 높이는 것이 우선이나 이용자 편의도 고려해야 하며, 식재개념으로 시각적 경관식재는 교목층은 수형이 아름답고 탄소흡수와 미세먼지 저감효과가 높은 수종을 식재, 생태적 경관식재는 경사구배 위 다층구조 식재지 조성, 완충식재는 다층구조숲으로 조성하여 탄소흡수와 미세먼지 저감 효과 향상, 녹음식재는 활엽수 교목층과 초본층으로 구성하고 초본류의 자연형 식재를 지향해야 한다. 식재수종은 도시환경개선 효과가 높은 수종, 지역 자생종, 야생조류 선호 수종을 식재하고, 식재구조는 경관식재지와 녹음식재지는 교목층과 관목층, 교목층과 초본층으로 구성하고 생태성이 강조되거나 완충기능이 필요한 식재지는 다층구조로 조성한다. 식재밀도는 식재간격 기준으로 더 높은 기준을 적용하며, 식재기반은 빗물재활용과 토양객토 및 통기시설을 사용한다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 노후 도시공원의 식재리뉴얼 계획 시 식재기능평가를 수행하여 식재기능개선 필요지역을 도출하는 데 적용할 수 있으며, 조성녹지의 기능변화 패러다임을 다각도로 반영한 식재 리뉴얼 방향성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

자연림 복원을 위한 모듈군락식재 실험연구 (Experimental Study on Modular Community Planting for Natural Forest Restoration)

  • 다양한 수종의 묘목을 고밀도로 심는 모듈군락식재가 기존의 성목식재보다 자연림 복원 효과성이 뛰어난지 알고자 야외 실험을 했다. 또 모듈군락식재의 식재밀도 차이에 따라 생장이 촉진되는지, 또 식피율이 높아지는지를 알아보았다. 큰나무를 넓게 띄어 심는 성목식재구(대조구)와 다종의 묘목을 고밀도로 심는 모듈군락식재구(처리구)로 구분했고, 다시 식재밀도에 따른 3주/m2와 1주/m2 모듈군락식재구로 나눠 실험을 설계했다. 2019년 5월부터 26개월간 공시재료의 생존율, 생장량(수고, 수관폭, 근원직경), 식피율을 측정했고, 측정 수고값을 활용하여 장래 수고생장을 예측했다. 모듈군락식재구의 생존율과 상대생장량이 성목식재구보다 높았다. 모듈군락식재구의 식피율은 23개월 이전에 지표면을 완전히 덮었지만, 성목식재구는 이식스트레스로 인해 오히려 식피율이 낮아졌다. 고밀도로 심은 모듈군락식재구의 묘목이 자라서 식재 후 5~6.5년 만에 성목식재구보다 더 높이 자랄 것으로 예측됐다. 이런 결과를 이끈 원인은 다종(多種)·묘목·고밀도 식재와 토양개량·멀칭 등의 식재기반 개선 때문이라 본다. 즉, 모듈군락식재구에 심은 묘목은 큰나무를 심은 성목식재구보다 식재 후 환경 적응력이 뛰어나 생존율이 높고, 초기 생장량이 많았을 것이다. 다양한 자생수종의 고밀도 혼식은 상호보완적 환경압을 완화하는 동시에 개체간 경쟁을 유발해 생장 촉진을 이끌었다. 더불어, 식재기반 개선은 묘목의 활착율 상승과 생장량 증가에 유효했다고 본다. 식재밀도가 높을수록 식피율이 급격히 늘어나, 제초 등의 사후관리비 절감 효과가 있을 것이다. 모듈군락식재구(3주/m2, 1주/m2)의 식재밀도가 높았을 때 수고생장이 촉진되었고, 수관폭·근원직경은 식재밀도가 낮았을 때 높아지는 경향을 보였지만, 통계적 차이가 없었다.

Physicochemical Properties of Topsoil Used for River Improvement and Non-Improvement Areas

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the physicochemical properties and perform a feasibility analysis of planting material composed of topsoil from river improvement and non-improvement areas. The results showed that the physicochemical properties of topsoil from river improvement areas were on the average sandy loam~loamy sand in soil texture, 5.6~6.8 in pH, 0.01~0.06 dS/m in EC, 0.9~2.1% in OM, 0.02~0.12% in T-N, 8~14 $cmol^+/kg$ in CEC, 0.01~0.08 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $K^+$, 2.55~11.11 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $Ca^{2+}$, 0.34~2.06 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $Mg^{2+}$, and 3~396 mg/kg in Av. $P_2O_5$. And non-improvement areas showed on average sandy clay loam~sand in soil texture, 5.7~6.7 in pH, 0.02~0.08 dS/m in EC, 0.9~4.4% in OM, 0.02~0.23% in T-N, 7~18 $cmol^+/kg$ in CEC, 0.01~0.08 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $K^+$, 3.81~12.67 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $Ca^{2+}$, 0.60~1.95 $cmol^+/kg$ in Ex. $Mg^{2+}$, and 3~171 mg/kg in Av. $P_2O_5$. Meanwhile, the results of an applied valuation of topsoil- based planting were as follows. Ex. $K^+$ levels were low grade in all survey areas. OM was low grade in 12 improvement areas and 11 non-improvement areas. Av. $P_2O_5$ levels were low grade in 10 improvement areas and 10 non-improvement areas. T-N was low grade in six improvement areas and four non-improvement areas. Ex. $Mg^{2+}$ levels were low grade in two improvement areas.

임해매립지의 느티나무 식재 이후 뿌리 생장특성 -뿌리구조 및 세근의 공간적 분포를 중심으로- (Roots Growth Characteristics of Zelkova serrata Makino. after Replanting in the Reclaimed Land from the Sea - On the Root Structure and Spatial Distribution of Fine Root Phytomass -)

  • This study was carried out to analyze both the root structure and the fine root phytomass of the vertical and horizontal distribution of Zelkova serrata Makino. which was transplanted in the reclaimed land from the sea in Gwangyang, Jeonnam, South Korea. The base ground was reclaimed land from the sea. $Z_1$ of the planting ground was filled to a $100{\sim}150cm$ thickness with the improved soil instead of the reclaimed soil from the sea, $Z_2$ of the planting ground was covered to a $20{\sim}30cm$ thickness with the improved soil and $Z_3$ of the planting ground was mounded to 120cm thickness with the improved soil on the reclaimed land from the sea. In addition, $Z_4,\;Z_5\;and\;Z_6$ of the planting grounds were at the large-sized mound on the reclaimed land from the sea. $Z_4$ of the planting ground was located at the lowest level, $Z_5$ planting ground was located at the slope and $Z_6$ planting ground was located at the top of the large-sized mound. The large-sized mounds contain 3 layers, the base layer was reclaimed land from the sea and the second layer was mounded to a $200{\sim}300cm$ thickness with the desalinized soil from the sea on the base layers and the finally layers were mounded to a $80{\sim}120cm$ thickness with improved soil on the second layer. The planting grounds $Z_3,\;Z_4,\;Z_5\;and\;Z_6$ developed roots such as tap roots, lateral roots and heart roots. However, in $Z_1\;and\;Z_2$ roots development were inhibited. The fine-root phytomass of the 6 planting ground types was as follows: $113.5g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_5$, $105.5g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_4$, $88.3g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_3$, $81.0g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_6$, $73.0g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_2$, $43.3g\;DM/m^2$ for $Z_1$. The vertical distribution of the fine root phytomass decreased from the upper to the deeper soil profiles in the 6 mound types. The fine root phytomass was $43.3{\sim}71.8%$ in a $0{\sim}20cm$ thickness of soil layer and it decreased according to the distance from the nearest trees. The root growth in the improved soil was better than in the reclaimed soil from the sea. However, root growth decreased more in the disturbed soils even though the planting grounds contained the improved soils. The retarded development of roots and the spatial distribution patterns of the fine root phytomass were closely connected to the reclaimed soil from the sea. In the disturbed soil, the soil hardness and alkalic cation($Na^+,\;K^+,\;Ca^{2+},\;Mg^{2+}$). were high and the soil water was lacking. We suggest that the construction of planting grounds and the improvement of bad soil are necessary for the proper and effective growth of landscaping plants.

새만금 간척지 토양특성과 친환경 활용 방안 (Construction of Environmental-friendly Infrastructure in Saemangeum Reclaimed Land)

  • Saemangeum reclaimed area is needed to construct much green zone to make high-quality multi-functional land such as tide embankment, lake dike, industrial complex, environmental spaces, etc. However, growth of plants is somewhat difficult because a salinity of Saemangeum soil is very high and a soil fertility, water content of soil are low. Therefore, it is essential to initial desalination of soil and continuous management for planting base. It is recommended that a group of grassland to raise the efficiency of covering should be made in the first stage and a forest by improvement of vegetation should be made in the mid and long term stage. It is recommended that the construction of vegetation base should be made with a regular thickness of soil of good quality in multi-functional area such as a shrub and wood. In case of construction of a windbreak forest, it is necessary to make a wood base of suitable depth using soil brought from another place or filling of soil. Also, it is necessary to keep a maintenance of woods in early stage. Saemangeum reclaimed land will be brand-named worldwide tourist attractions due to construction of much green zone having high quality multi-functional facilities.

거제시 신현읍 완충녹지의 생태적 특성 및 관리방안 (Ecological Characteristics and Management Program for Buffer Greens at Sinhyeon-Eup, Geoje-Si)

  • 본 연구는 거제시 신현읍의 산림을 연결하는 녹지축의 식재현황을 파악하고 생태적 구조개선방안을 수립하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상지는 소음완화를 목적으로 하는 완충녹지로 육교산(50m)과 중매산(131m)을 잇는 중간지점에 위치하고 있다. 비오톱 유형은 시가화지역, 도로 등 도시화지역 2개, 산림비오톱, 하천비오톱, 조경수목식재지 비오톱 등 녹지 및 오픈스페이스 지역 15개로 총 17개로 분류되었다. 비오톱 유형분석자료를 바탕으로 자연생태계가 양호하여 생물서식이 가능한 육교산과 중매산을 거점녹지로, 기조성된 완충녹지를 연결녹지로 활용하는 것이 생물을 도심내로 유입하는 유일한 방법으로 판단되었다. 거점녹지, 준거점녹지, 연결녹지의 녹피율은 각각 160.29%, 128.37%, 44.37%. 녹지용적계수는 $4.04m^3/m^2,\;3.95m^3/m^2,\;0.65m^3/m^2$로 거점녹지는 층위구조가 형성되어 생물서식처 및 종공급처 역할을 수행하고 있으나 준거점녹지는 하층식생이 훼손되었고, 연결녹지는 관목층의 식재량 부족 및 훼손으로 불량하였다. 결국, 도심내로의 야생조류유입 및 생물서식을 위한 통로 역할과 시민들의 이용공간으로 활용하기 위해서는 거점녹지의 연결을 통한 생물종다양성 증진 및 시민의 이용을 위한 자연관찰로를 조성하고자 도심내 야생조류 유입을 위한 생태적 조성 가로녹지 조성을 통한 녹지 연결, 도시민의 이용 및 휴양을 위한 경관개선에 대한 세부실천계획을 제안하고자 하였다.

준설토 파종식물의 생육경향 및 관리방안 연구 -낙동강 14공구 중심으로- (A Study of Characteristics of Seeding Plants through Improvements of Dredge Vegetation-Base -Focus on Site 14 in Nakdong-gang-)

  • This study was launched to verify the effective composition of plant species and its management program most suited for the dredged soiled area near Nakdong River Site 14. The improvement methods of planting base and the composition of plants such as silver grass, reed, and some colonies in aesthetic effect were studied. To search the management methods to decrease the confining pressure risen from the burried seeds which would consequently harm the previously seeded plants, experimental construction process was measured on the site. The purpose of this experiment was to figure out which part of the improvement on the plant base has the most significant effect for the revegetation of infertile, dredged soil, to verify the easily seeded, developing plants among seeded plants, and finally, to find the restoration model using plants near the dredged soil around riverside. 8 seeded plants and 23 invaded species were appeared which among the emerged plants, development of Aster yomena MAKINO, Lotus corniculatus var. japonica Regel, Trifolium repens L, and Dianthus longicalyx Miq were proved to be brought up well. Difference risen from the seed composition were not noticeable until 150day since the germination was proceeded mainly by Aster yomena MAKINO. The experimental plot with dredging sand+organic fertilizer method of construction and dredging sand+soil conditioner method showed most development while the effect of the plot with only the soil base of dredging sand stayed low. Another important method for the management of infertile, dredged soil base would be the removal of disturbing species which the experiment showed the tied relationship between the removal of disturbing species and development of seeding plants. Although this study was carried out focused on the Nakdong River Project, the study suggests the general management program that the removal of disturbing species such as Humulus japonicus Sieboid & Zucc. and Pueraria lobata (Willd.) Ohwi in times around rainy season(60days after seedling) would be effective for the easy growth of revegetation plants.

국내의 옥상녹화 연구 동향 분석 (An Analysis of Research Trends Regarding Rooftop Greening in Korea)

  • This study was to investigate and identify the trends and the direction of the researches related to the rooftop greening by analyzing the content of the studies published in Korea during the past two decades. Internet search was to collect data for this study, and the articles reviewed are limited to research journals, theses, and doctoral dissertations. The collected articles were then examined for content analysis and classified into several categories according to year, topic, and types of journals. The results showed that the total number of articles published in Korea for the period 1984-2004 was 97. While there was only one article in 1984, the number of articles has increased to 16 in 2000, 20 in 2003, and 16 in 2004 now. According to the analysis of the 97 data, there were 25 master's theses and 3 doctoral dissertations and 69 articles published in journals. Articles about rooftop greening were published most frequently in the Korea Institute of Landscape Architecture(11 articles), followed by Journal of Architectural Institute of Korea(8 articles) and Journal of Korea Society for Environment Restoration(7 articles).The studies regarding the rooftop greening has increased in number since the Ministry of Construction and Transportation made it possible to 10-15 cm shallow depth of soil in rooftop greening in 2000, which was above 100 cm before 2000. The articles examined are classified into four areas of research according to topic. The number of articles in each area is as follows : 57 articles in the field of the technology, 17 in the study of the plan and system, 10 in the case study, and 12 in the plant study, Particularly, the studies concerning technology are subdivided into the five areas and the number of each area is as follows : 25 studies for the plant base, 15 for design plan, 13 for the efficacy of the rooftop greening, 3 for the managing program, and 1 for the relation with buildings. Over the years, the studies for the rooftop greening have increased in number since these studies have made a positive effect on the improvement of the urban ecosystem and on the environment of the city lacking greens. However, the majority of research are for plant and planting base and those researches are not enough to make some effects on the improvement of the environment, it seems necessary to provide some system applicable to the field or to design practical study in order to contribute to the urban environment in Korea.

일본의 자연환경보전사조 및 관련제도의 변천에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Current Ideas and Institution of Natural Environmental Conservation in Japan -Policy and Institution of Open Space and Forest -)

  • ^x As mentioned above, I consider the change of role that is related with Japanese thought of Natural Environmental Conservation, and I divide each part of periods into forest, farmland, open space, urban planning, environmental conservation etc. To summary the content of each period of Natural Environmental Conservation thought is as follows. 1) Previous period before formation(before 1919) In the previous period of Meiji, it could be said that the consciousness of the Natural Environmental Conservation was coming to existence. In this, so called, Natural Environmental Conservation, the thought of Forest Preservation was the main current and it was the thought of territorial integrity for the security of resource, the forestry conservancy and flood control in the forestry farmland. Since the age of Meiji, the theory of Natural Conservation appears from the theory of Japanese landscaping and systematic management about public parks was enforced, but the regular theory of Natural Environmental Conservation did not attain full growth. 2) The period of formation(1919~ 1954) In the period of formation, the base of Natural Environmental Conservation had been established. Parks and Open spaces were admitted as a public facilities in each city, and legislations which supported it had been continuously enacted and so on. In this period, the afforestation counter plan was emphasized on the side of territorial integrity. In the mountainous district. tree planting was emphasized to recover the forest which had been destroied by war. 3) The period of development(1955~ 1974) In the period of development, varied policies was institutionalized for the Natural Environmental Conservation. However, all sorts of development policy had performed simultaneously, thus development had complicated relation with preservation. But after 1970's the framework of system of Natural Environmental Conservation improvement was constituted to control the many kinds of development, and the spontaneous campaign of nature preservation by private lead was being taken root. This is the more progressive period. 4) The pried of root(after 1975) After the latter of 1970's, the role of Natural Environmental Conservation began to take root not in the direction of control but inducement, and, getting out of development - oriented policy, aimed at relation between human being and natural environment and the side of amenity of human environment. Besides, the current of Natural Environmental Conservation had been seperately progressed in the cities and forests. Since this period, it was the character that cities and forests began to be unified as 'amenity'space of man.

자생식물 교육을 통한 학교 환경교육 개선에 관한 기초연구 - 서울시 마포구 초등학교를 중심으로 - (Base Study for Improvement of School Environmental Education with the Education Indigenous Plants - In the case of Mapo-Gu Elementary School in Seoul -)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 환경교육을 통해서 우리 자연자원의 소중함을 인식시키고, 실제 학교환경을 이용한 자생식물 교육을 위하여 제도적 교과서에서의 식물이용현황 및 학교현장의 녹지공간 현황, 자생식물 식재여부를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 향후 7차 교과 개정시에는 교과서에 자생식물에 대한 개념 및 훨씬 더 많은 자생식물이 그림이나 사전과 함께 실리며, 학생들이 접하기 힘든 어려운 식물들을 초기단계부터 교육하기 보다는 일상생활에서 늘 접할 수 있는 쉬운 가존의 소재들을 바탕으로 중기단계에서는 직접 실생활에서 응용되는 실용적 소재로 학생들에게 흥미를 유발하여 말기에는 희귀종, 어려운 식물 및 우리 자생식물을 '먹을 수 있는 식물', '나비와 벌이 모여드는 식물', '약으로 쓰이는 식물', '습지를 좋아하는 식물'들로 테마를 설정해 제시하는 단계별 방안이 모색되어져야 한다. 둘째, 현재의 학습원은 작물, 초화류 위주의 식물식재로 학생들에게 다양한 식물교육, 특히 자생식물 교육의 효과를 가지지 못하고 있다. 더욱이 교사와 학생들에 의해 식물이 식재되고, 관리되어지는 실습의 장으로써가 아닌 일부 교사, 또는 담당관리에 의해 조경수목 식재지의 일부로 관리되어지는 경우가 많음을 현황조사 결과 알 수 있었다. 학습원과 더불어 학교 녹지공간 전체의 배치, 식생의 층위구성, 자생식물의 식재수종 등에 변화가 요구된다. 학교환경을 효율적으로 이용하기 위한 방안으로 현재 조성되어 있는 학습원(재배원 교재원) 및 조경공간 등의 적극적인 활용과 비조성 학교에서의 학습원 조성을 위해 모델제시와 더불어 "어린이 자생식물 연구회", "우리꽃 가꾸기 모임", "1인(人) 한 나무 가꾸기" 등의 다양한 모임을 토대로 우리꽃 이름짓기 대회, 관찰일기 쓰기, 우리학교 자연이야기 신문 만들기 등의 다양한 프로그램 개발을 활성화하여 학교 내에서의 자생식물 실습교육을 유도한다. 향후 위 자료를 기초로 교사와 학생에 대한 식물교육 및 자생식물에 대한 향후 의식조사를 실시하여 현재 학교에서의 오염중심 환경교육에서 벗어나 자연과 접하며 실제 환경의 소중함을 체험할 수 있는 정확한 정보 및 다양한 자료를 통하여 생명의 소중함을 느끼게 하고, 환경 문제의 근본적인 해결을 위한 방안이 요구된다.
