IEC 62279 규격의 소프트웨어 정적분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Software Static Analysis Method on IEC 62279)

  • 정적분석방식은 소프트웨어 코드분석방식중의 하나이다. 국제철도신호시스템 소프트웨어 관련규격 IEC 62279에서는 소프트웨어 안전성 레벨에 따라 총 9가지 분석방법을 조합하여 사용할 것을 권고하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 도시철도 차 지상간 열차운행 정보 통신장치 연구개발에서 소프트웨어 품질을 향상하기 위하여 세 가지 정적분석방식에 대하여 연구하고, LDRA 툴을 이용하여 사례 연구를 진행하였다. 따라서 철도신호시스템 소프트웨어개발주기에 필요한 시간을 단축하여 안전성 관련 소프트웨어의 효율적인 개발에 도움을 주고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 들어 철도신호시스템분야에서 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있는 소프트웨어 측면에서의 신뢰성과 안전성 수준을 국제규격(IEC 62279)에 부합할 수 있도록 하기 위한 접근방법을 모색하며, 실제 적용사례(국토해양부 및 한국건설교통기술평가원이 주관하는 국가 대형연구개발 실용화 사업인 "도시형 자기부상열차 실용화사업 시범노선 건설 열차제어시스템 구매/설치")를 통하여 현실적이고 접근가능한 구체적인 활동 사항들을 프로젝트 수행과 연관하여 기술한다. 또한 열차제어시스템의 안전성 인증 획득을 위한 소프트웨어를 포함한 시스템 보증활동 및 시스템 보증을 위한 조직체계를 확립하고, 요구사항 관리 및 프로젝트 공정에 따른 절차적 시스템 보증 활동과 안전성평가 활동과의 연관관계, 시스템 전반에 걸친 RAMS 및 소프트웨어 품질보증 활동과 안전성 평가를 통한 인증활동에 대한 부분을 상세 제시하고자 한다. 본 활동을 통하여 지금까지 국제규격에 따른 활동기준에 대해서 모호하거나, 명확하게 정의되지 않은 사항들이 체계적으로 정리될 수 있을 것으로 사료되며, 타 사업 및 국내 철도신호시스템 적용을 위한 소프트웨어 품질 및 안전 무결성 수준 확보에 따른 안전성 확보방안의 구체적인 케이스 모델이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper presents the methods to acquire the Safety Certificate from Independent Safety Assessment based on the IEC standard62279 which is commonly applied to railway system for Automatic Train Control(ATC) system in accordance with Urban Maglev project. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project life-cycle to accomplish and ensure the system requirements of ATC system, RAMS and S/W quality activities. Furthermore, the key tasks conducted with ISA are noted in detail. These kind of activities for software quality of ATC system to obtain Safety Certificate could be a CASE model to improve the quality of domestic railway system and products, and also contribute to the growth of railway business and toward the achievement of overseas' railway signaling markets.

  • The increase in hazard level is attributed to the industrial hazard environment; complete national environmental hazards to human health include climate change. The damage level in Korea from 1993 to 2009 has exceeded the Increase In adverse environmental conditions. Priority areas of concern will include those risks that are most likely to occur and are expensive when they do take place such as accident or injury at a community pool. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest the System Engineering method for application to the railway RAMS. Recently, the requirement of high-integrity level of infrastructure has been deemed important. The systems level approach is defined through the assessment of the RAMS interactions between elements of complex system applications.

  • Related to the on-going "Train Control System Project of Pilot Line Construction for Urban MAGLEV Train", activities by each phase shall be conducted to achieve SIL4 level and obtain safety certification from the Independent Safety Assessment(ISA), based on the IEC standards((IEC 62278/62279 and IEC 62425) for the first time in Korea. This thesis describes the introduction of IEC standards, system assurance activities (such as plan, analysis, test, verification and validation) in compliance with requirements management and project life-cycle and relations with the safety assessment activities; and certification activities (such as document reviews and audits) through system RAMS activities, software quality assurance activities and safety assessment, for the purpose of achieving a successful safety certification at the time of completing the project as system assurance activities including software and safety certification activities in order to acquire the safety certification for train control system which does not exist at all in domestic cases. It is believed that overall system safety assurance activities in this project will contribute to develop more upgraded products of the domestic train control system on the quality and safety point of view, find overseas markets and establish a bridgehead in the future.

  • This paper gives an overview and developing status of the on-board Automatic Train Control (ATC) System employed to control the Urban Maglev vehicle in Korea. In the construction of demonstration line for Urban Maglev Program, the Daewoo Engineering Company (DEC) has participated as a supplier of the whole ATC System since 2009. According to the contract with Korea Rail Network Authority, DEC is under progress for the development of the whole ATC system including Safety Integration Level (SIL) assessment from the ISA, which is followed by the international standards IEC62278, IEC62279, and EN50129. Once the Urban Maglev Program is completed successfully in 2013, the developed system will be the first localized whole ATC system which has SIL assessment and commercial operation experience in Korea.

  • Recent advances in computer technology have brought more dependence on software to railway systems. Hence, the safety assurance of the vital software running on the railway system is very critical task and yet, not many works have been done. While much efforts have been reported to improve electronic hardware's safety, not so much systematic approaches to evaluate software's safety. In this paper, we suggested an automated analysis tool for S/W change impact in railway system, and presented its result of implementation. The analysis items in the implemented tool had referred to the international standards in relation to the software for railway system, such as IEC 61508 and IEC 62279. In these international standards, 'change impact analysis' for railway system S/W has to be required mandatorily. The proposed tool can be utilized at the assessment stage and also the software development stage.

  • The portion of embedded software in railway signaling system is increased by the advance of computer and communication technology. And the safely requirements for railway system are standardized by int'l std., such as IEC 62278 and IEC 62279. According to these circumstances for software safety problems, we are deduced the testing items for software safety test and assessment for railway signaling. Testing tools used for embedded software are surveyed to find a feasible safety assessment architecture. And the architecture of automatic test tool is proposed to test the deduced safely testing items in this paper.

  • The computer application on embedded system is recently more increased in accordance of the development of computer technology. In this trend, the depending of SW in embedded system, especially railway signaling system, is being increased further. So the testing for the safety of railway signaling system software became more important. Hence, the safety assurance of the vital software on the railway signaling system is very important but yet, not many works have been done. In this paper, we represented the implementation results of development of performance testing tool in railway signaling system. The implemented testing item had referred to the international standards in relation to the software for railway system, such as IEC 61508 and IEC 62279.
