  • 퓨즈 부착 고압 교류부하개폐기(Alternating current switch-fuse combination)는 개폐기와 한류형 퓨즈의 조합으로서 각각의 규격(개폐기는 IEC60265-1, 한류형 퓨즈는 IEC60282-1)에 따른 개발시험을 실시 한 후 휴즈부착 고압교류 부하개폐기의 규격인 IEC62271-105에 따라 개발시험이 이루어진다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 개정된 IEC62271-105의 신구 비교, 시험종류 및 시험방법에 대해서 기술하였다.

Seismic and Stress Analysis of 72.5kV GIS for Technical Specification of KEPCO (72.5kV GIS 전력 장비의 KEPCO 기준 내진 및 응력 해석)

  • High voltage electric power transmitter GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) above 72.5kV needs to satisfy domestic Korean peninsular standard(ES-6110-0002) in KEPCO with respect to normal and special operation conditions which include internal gas pressure, dead weight, wind and seismic load. Some other requirements not described in Korean standard can be applied from other international standards such as IEC(International Electronical Committee) 62271-203 and 62271-207. The GIS is a kind of pressure vessel structure made of aluminum and filled with SF6 gas of internal pressure 0.4~0.5MPa. Finite element analysis of GIS is performed with such operational loads including seismic loading and the stability and reliability is determined according to ASME BPVC(Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code) SEC. VIII standard where the allowable stress level of the pressure vessel is suggested. The result shows that the stress of GIS is satisfied the allowable stress level and the safety factor is about 2.3 for Korean peninsular standard.

  • In order to newly define and specify the performance and the testing method of the high-voltage circuit breaker, IEC 62271-100 was published in May, 2001 and took place of IEC 60056 which had been used since 1987. This new standard intensifies the requirement and the test method of the circuit breaker and also domestic manufacturer makes progress the new product development. And, KERI also goes on the build-up project of short-circuit testing facilities for fulfilling the testing method requirements in new IEC 62271-100. This paper introduce the limiting method of short-circuit making current by controlling the time constant of dc component.

  • In electric power system, the circuit breaker is not operated when the higher voltage then the rated TRV(transient Recovery Voltage) appeared in the circuit breaking, The TRV of a circuit breaker means the characteristics of reignition by the arc between two poles. and is decided by the value of connecting Impedance. In this paper we of carried out many kinds of experiments varying the types of bus, the types of installation, the length of installation between 22.9 [kV] level circuit breaker and MTR in general 154/22.9[kV] system, We also simulated the characteristics of TRV using EMTP-RV program. The suitability of TRV in assessed by Uc, RRRV(Rate of Rise of Recovery Voltage) which are defined by the international guide, IEC62271-100. The values of RRRV gained from the cable-made bus are 590[%] lesser than those from the NSPB-made bus respectively. So the triangled type is more rational in the aspect of TRV.

  • This paper is to study on the Construction of Test circuit and Unification of Experiment Method for high voltage gas-insulated load switch using high power testing system The high power testing system is a equipment to verify electrical and mechanical performance on electrical product. The system consist of short-circuit generator, back-up breaker, making switch, impedance, high voltage transformer, low voltage transformer, measuring and protection system, etc. Using this system, we can test related to high power, for example, short-time current test, active load Current test, magnetizing Current test, capacitive current test, closed loop current test, etc. Standards of high voltage gas-insulated load switch that is in use domestic distribution line are ES 5925-0002, IEC 60265-1, IEC 62271-1 and IEEE C 37.74, etc. In this paper, we standardized on the test procedure, organization of test circuit and analysis of measured data prescribed many difference standards, and applied this test method to 600[MVA] high power testing system. So that we can test the load switch satisfied standards.

  • In the distribution system, there are multiple power protection systems such as circuit breakers at substations, and reclosers, minimum circuit ampacities, fault interrupters on distribution lines. They are widely used to prevent partial outages, cascading power failure or blackout so that other healthy systems could maintain the integrity in case of the instant fault or permanent failure on the power lines. However, when a fault happens, it could cause a major black out due to the lack of the protection cooperation between the protection relay of the circuit breaker at a substation and a protection system on the distribution lines. To achieve the power system integrity better, it is required to develop the circuit breaker which can be operational within 1 cycle(16ms). In this study, the high speed circuit breaker which is filled up with eco-friendly gas is developed. This equipment achieved an excellent test results based on IEC 62271-111 standard. It is respected that this equipment would contribute to prevent the wide area blackout by isolating a fault area quicker and faster.

  • 여러 전력기기를 안전성과 편의성 등을 위하여 함(enclosure)에 설치하였을 때, 이러한 제품을 배전반(Switchgear and controlgear assemblies)이라고 한다. 내부에 설치되는 기기들을 서로 접속할 때 전선(cable) 또는 부스바(busbar)를 사용하고 있는데, 사용시 필연적으로 전력손실에 의한 발열로 인하여 배전반 내부온도 및 기기의 온도가 상승한다. 기기에 대한 온도 상승 허용범위는 각 기기의 해당규격에 규정되어 있으며 배전반 규격(고압배전반 : IEC 62271-200 및 SPS-KEMC 2101-0609, 저압배전반 : IEC 61439 series 및 SPS-KEMC 2102-0610)에는 외부접속용 단자 등 배전반 내부에 사용되는 전선 또는 부스바의 온도상승 허용범위가 규정되어 있다. 본 고찰에서는 배전반의 각 정격전류에 따른 전선 또는 부스바의 사이즈, 특히 부스바의 사이즈 및 형상에 따른 온도상승의 영향을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • A study on the environmental tests for auxiliary and control circuits of high voltage switchgears, especially testing condition and requirements, according to the relevant international standards has been briefly reviewed in this paper. As the highest supply voltage of electric power systems have been progressed, testing techniques and testing standards such IEC codes improved and revised keeping step with it. Especially IEC 62271 series, which are applicable to the HV-class switchgears and controlgears have been revised in 2008 newly. In this paper, the special consideration and background information of environmental testing condition with mechanical operating performance, e.g. operation in a higher and lower ambient temperature, for the auxiliary and control circuits of switchgears and controlgears and considerable investigation to the related international standards have been provided. Examples of testing performed were showed and analysis of their test results have been described.

A Research on Dielectric Characteristics of Small Current Interruption Considering Pre-Condition Test for Puffer Type Circuit Breaker (Pre-Condition 시험을 고려한 Puffer식 차단기의 진상소전류 차단성능에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents the small current interruption capability of $SF_6$ puffer circuit breaker considering pre-condition. Firstly, the change of dielectric strength of the 3 breakers was compared with testing breakers as clean contacts and eroded contacts after 3 shots of 760 according to new IEC 62271-100 standard. Also the dielectric strength curve of each model was calculated through flow and electric field simulations. From these results, we could modify the empirical equation, being used to predict the dielectric strength of small current interruption capability, considering the effects of pre-condition.

  • 본 논문은 인천지역 345kV 계통고장전류 저감을 위한 한류리액터 설치에 따른 362kV 50kA 차단기의 과도회복 전압 정격 초과 여부를 EMTP을 활용하여 검토하였다. 과도회복전압(TRV : Transient Recovery Voltage)은 크게 두가지, 최대전압(Vp)과 초기과도회복전압상승율(RRRV:Rate of Rise of Recovery Voltage)로 구분하며, 리액턴스 성분이 증가하며 RRRV가 상승하여 차단기가 고장전류을 차단시 절연파괴(열파괴)로 이어질 수 있다. IEC 62271-100 규정에는 RRRV를 정격차단전류의 100% 크기(T100%) 차단시 2kV/us이내로 규정하고 있으며 이 보다 작은 전류의 T90, T75 차단시의 규정치는 계산식에 의해 정해진다.
