A study of unmanned light rail vehicle(K-AGT) system engineering process under Safety Requirement, IEC 62267 (IEC 62267 안전요구사항을 적용한 무인경량전철 차량(K-AGT)의 시스템엔지니어링 프로세스에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, unattended Light Rail Transit System (K-AGT) is a general-purpose standards safety requirements of IEC 62267 based System Engineering Process (SEP) was used. Functional analysis and physical architecting for each requirements through the vehicle was classified into sub-systems, design was analyzed in terms of SE. The analysis of the proposed system engineering process, unattended train operation (UTO), driverless train operation(DTO) design of the safety measures to be used as the basis is studied.

  • Recently interior of a country have been innovated driverless LRT(lightweight railway train) that has a virtue of reducion of payroll cost, decrease of headway and improvement of speed. But, if driverless LRT will be happened a accident, response capacity considerably have low. And then passenger will have feel fear. This thesis had examination a IEC 62267 : AUGT safety requirement and analyze safe facilities of the inside and outside of the country. Later on, this result will have not only increase economics, reliability, convenience and safety but also set standardization standard.

  • Light rail transit is classified to rubber-tired LRT, lear induction motor LRT, steel wheel LRT, monorail and tramway. LRT except for tramway are usually operated without driver and tramway are driven depending on driver's sight like usual car. LRT, which is one type of urban guided transit, shall be operated according to domestic "Operational Regulation for Urban Guided Transit" but existing regulation does not contain the safety related codes for driverless operation. In this paper, we investigate "IEC 62267 : Railway Application-Safety Requirements for Automated Urban Guided Transit" and compensate for existing operational regulation by referring to international standard and operational rule of commercial line.
