It is more than 10 years since ICT training learning was introduced to educational curriculum, and it is now time for overall consideration about the result of the education. The most important difficulties that the teachers have are that there are big differences in the level of learning ability. The characteristics of ICT curriculum are its tool and stepwise progress. The main problem of a curriculum with such characteristics is with underachivers. To distinguish ICT underachivers, the present study was developed a distinction tool for investigation: The objects were the students in the 6th grade of the 4 elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do, and inquires were made to find out characteristics. Inquires were also made to the elementary school teachers in Goyang-city to find out the actual instructional situation. A teaching-learning system will be suggested to prevent the occurring of ICT underachivers by analyzing their characteristics. The system consists of a distinction examination module, a teaching-learning module and a feedback module, which are web-based, as well as an off-line actual class module. The purpose of the system is to prevent underachivers in ICT classes, so that the students' ability to utilize computer will be improved to a higher level.

7차 교육과정에서 컴퓨터 교육이 정식교과로 시작된 이래 올바르게 교과교육으로 정착되어 가고 있는가에 대한 현황 파악에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 그 중에서 특히 학교교육에서 중요시하는 부진아 발생현황에 대해 파악하여 이의 발생 원인을 분석하여 대처 방안을 수립하는 것은 매우 중요한 사항이다. 향후 컴퓨터 교육이 개정교육과정에서 정식교과로 정착되기 위해서는 교과의 학습 부진아에 대한 연구와 개선 방안에 대한 연구가 필연적이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 7차 교육과정의 시작 이래 진행되어 온 부진아의 발생현황과 원인을 분석하였다.

Despite the trend of the times and the government's efforts to implement policies, a number of students, having difficulties in learning math, are still growing. Reflecting this, many studies related to underachiever of learning mathematics were conducted in the field of mathematics education. Most of these studies, however, were intended to find the cause of underachievers of learning mathematics or experimental studies that applied the specific teaching procedures to the underachievers of learning mathematics and found their effectiveness in terms of academic achievement, compared it beforehand. Thus, in this study, 49 studies, from including theses and published journal papers from 2001, were meta-analyzed to find out how effective the teaching treatment for underachievers of learning mathematics has improved academic performance. As a result of this analysis, we found that teaching treatment generally have moderate effect sizes for children with having difficulties in learning mathematics. It was also possible to analyze the effect of various interventions and to obtain some suggestions on which circumstances the greatest effect could be achieved. Teaching treatments for underachiever of learning mathematics could have greater effectiveness in elementary school level, institution certified testing tool was used, targeted for each individual, taught by peer student, lasted for at least 8 weeks, and using teaching aids and ICT tools.

지금까지의 코스웨어는 주로 우수아와 일반아를 대상으로 제작되어 왔다. 그러나 본 연구는 초등학교 학습 장애아들을 대상으로 개별화 학습 ICT 활용을 위한 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 제작하였다. 특히 학습 동기와 흥미도를 강화하여 학습 부진 요소를 제거할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 그리고 다양한 교육정보화 매체를 활용하여 자기 주도의 학습을 할 수 있도록 멀티미디어 저작도구를 사용하여 단계별 개별화 학습자료를 설계하고 개발하였다. 이를 통해 학습 장애아들이 정확한 지식을 습득할 수 있고, 사물에 대한 정확한 개념과 관심을 가질 수 있도록 하였다.

As the importance of learner-centered ICT education is emphasized, school education should move toward the direction of respecting individual learners' capability rather than fitting learners into a fixed frame. Such a view finds its theoretical ground in Gardner's multiple intelligences theory. Thus ICT literacy education in elementary school also needs to consider individual student's abilities and talents based on their multiple intelligences and apply appropriate education programs and teaching methods. In order to provide basic materials for this, the present study examined the correlation between children's academic achievement in ICT literacy education and their multiple intelligences and inquired into which intelligences are factors determining achievement in ICT literacy education. According to the results. logical-mathematical intelligence is in a significant correlation with academic achievement in ICT literacy education. and logical-mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence are the most influential factors on academic achievement in ICT literacy education.
