Analysis on the Current Status of Using Information and Communication Technology(ICT) in Elementary Schools (초등학교에서의 정보통신기술 활용 실태 분석)

  • While the first step of the comprehensive plan for educational informationization focused on the infrastructure establishment, the second step aims to develop creativity and problem solving skills of students through the use of Information and Communication Technology(ICT). The purpose of this research is to investigate the current status of the educational use of ICT in elementary schools, and to give guidelines for future educational informationization. Four aspects of ICT(i.e., school environments, teachers' abilities to use ICT, methods for using ICT in class, and factors hindering the use of ICT in schools) were examined in the survey. From the survey, it is found that ICT is now used in schools more actively than before. However, it is also found that more efforts need to be made in some areas such as instructional strategies using ICT in class, and the design and the management of teacher training programs.

  • As the development of ICT technology, in order to solve the problem of scattered water information's availability, WINS(Water management Information Networking System) by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was established and has been operated since 2004. However, there has been a disadvantage of providing specialized and limited information to the water resources sector mainly and a lack of active sharing of information because of no compulsory provision of information sharing between participants. In order to solve these problems, this paper carried out system development study, to do this, the status of domestic water information was surveyed and domestic and overseas related systems were compared and analyzed. The latest ICT technology was used to realize the contents as screen, and the user interface definition was created to present a role model of integrated water management through maximizing visualization by combining GIS and realtime data and providing space-time integrated information. These prior studies reached to actual construction of the ICT-based integrated management system for water information by K-water. This system is in service to the public installed in the water information portal, "MyWater".

  • 우리는 전자신문사, 한국정보보호산업협회와 공동으로 "국내 보안산업의 기반마련을 위한 현황조사"를 실시하였다. 인터넷의 보편적 사용으로 기업의 사무 환경이 급속히 개방화되어 보안산업의 중요성이 날로 더해감에 따라, 국내 보안산업의 현황파악을 통한 기반 마련을 위하여 실시된 동 현황조사는 정보보호제품의 수요업체(한국CIO포럼 회원(176개사))와 공급업체(한국정보보호산업협회 회원사(81개사))를 대상으로 실시하였다. 응답한 설문을 바탕으로 분석한 통계분석치는 다음과 같다.

  • 근래 국내에서는 기후변화로 인한 국지성 호우가 점점 늘어나는 추세로 급격한 하천 수위상승 및 유량 증가로 인해 지속적으로 홍수피해가 발생하고 있으며, 이를 예방하기 위한 실시간 자료수집의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 사회적 환경을 고려하여 우리는 물 순환에 관한 자료를 실시간으로 수집하고 홍수예보를 위한 수문조사시설을 설치하여 운영하고 있으나, 대부분 하천과 인접한 곳에 설치되는 시설 특성상 시스템 오류, 전원 이상 발생 등 다양한 요인으로 발생하는 자료 결측·손실에 즉각적인 조치가 어려운 실정이다. 이에, 현장 기반 시설의 안정적인 운영을 통한 연속성 있는 자료 제공을 위해 수문조사시설 중 하천 내 설치된 유량측정시스템에 ICT·사물인터넷(IoT, Internet of Things)을 적용하여 현장 환경-정보 등 언택트(non-contact) 모니터링을 통해 실시간 점검을 수행하였다. 그 결과 2022년 기준 총 508회(현장점검 358회) 점검 중 150회 원격점검을 수행하였고, 이중 74회 즉각 점검 및 복구 조치가 이루어져 점검 시간 단축을 통한 자료 결측 최소화, 현장점검 최소화를 통해 효율적인 시설 운영이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한, 점검을 위해 현장 이동 시 발생하는 이산화탄소 배출량 저감으로 탄소중립 효과도 나타낼 수 있었다. 코로나바이러스감염증-19 이후 사회환경 패러다임 전환에 따라 비대면 활성화, 탄소중립, 안전하고 건전한 사회환경 조성 등과 같이 대면 위주로 운영되는 현장 시설의 관리 방향 또한 사회적 상황을 고려하여 효율적인 시설물 운영, 예산 절감, 자료의 연속성 확보 등을 위해 적극적인 운영 방향의 전환이 필요하다고 판단된다.

The Influencing Factors and Moderating Factors on Intention to Continuously Use Car-Hailing Mobility Service (차량호출 모빌리티 서비스 지속이용의도의 영향요인 및 조절요인 연구)

  • Mobility services are rapidly developing along with information and communication technology (ICT) innovation. Recently, the on-demand mobility platform market is growing, and an environment is provided in which users can call services more conveniently and check the connection status in real time using smartphones. This study investigates the current status of users' perceptions and experiences of car-hailing mobility services such as KAKAO Taxi and UT Taxi, and it analyzes the factors affecting the intention to continuously use the car-hailing service, focusing on environmental and instrumental benefits and trust in driver and platform. In particular, this study examines whether the significance of the relationship between influencing factors and continuous use intention could vary depending on the degree of innovativeness and ICT utilization. The results of this study showed that perceived benefits (environmental benefits and convenience and economic instrumental benefits) and trust in driver had significant effects on increasing trust in platform. It was analyzed that the higher the trust in platform, the higher the intention to continuously use the car-hailing service. Furthermore, the influence of perceived environmental benefits and economic benefits on the trust in platform was different depending on the degree of individual innovativeness, and the influence of convenience and economic benefits on the trust in platform varied depending on the degree of ICT utilization. Referring to the results of this study, mobility service providers can better understand the current status of users' perceptions and trust for car-hailing services, and implement service promotion strategies suitable for individual characteristics.

The Composition of Curriculum to Improve ICT Instructional Media Competency of Early Childhood Teacher (유아교사의 ICT 수업매체 역량 강화를 위한 교육과정 구성 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an ICT-oriented teacher curriculum in order to improve early childhood teacher's competency using ICT instructional media. To this end, a survey was conducted to investigate the importance and current level of early childhood teacher's competency. After identifying the necessity of ICT instructional media competency, the contents of an ICT-oriented teacher curriculum were designed. A survey of teacher competency among 207 teachers showed the highest educational need for ICT instructional media competency. In addition, ICT-based teacher curriculum was classified into ICT literacy education and ICT utilization education based on the analysis results of sub-indexes on ICT instructional media competency. Each part was hierarchized into three levels of awareness, application, and spread according to the teacher's competency level and the educational contents were suggested based on the goals set for each level. In this study, it consisted of ICT literacy education, including understanding educational policy related to ICT utilization, understanding the goals and assessment of the ICT curriculum and ICT utilization education, including the use of teaching and learning methods, application of digital technology, ICT learning environment building and management for developing teacher professionalism related to ICT instructional media.

Infrastructure 2D Camera-based Real-time Vehicle-centered Estimation Method for Cooperative Driving Support (협력주행 지원을 위한 2D 인프라 카메라 기반의 실시간 차량 중심 추정 방법)

  • Existing autonomous driving technology has been developed based on sensors attached to the vehicles to detect the environment and formulate driving plans. On the other hand, it has limitations, such as performance degradation in specific situations like adverse weather conditions, backlighting, and obstruction-induced occlusion. To address these issues, cooperative autonomous driving technology, which extends the perception range of autonomous vehicles through the support of road infrastructure, has attracted attention. Nevertheless, the real-time analysis of the 3D centroids of objects, as required by international standards, is challenging using single-lens cameras. This paper proposes an approach to detect objects and estimate the centroid of vehicles using the fixed field of view of road infrastructure and pre-measured geometric information in real-time. The proposed method has been confirmed to effectively estimate the center point of objects using GPS positioning equipment, and it is expected to contribute to the proliferation and adoption of cooperative autonomous driving infrastructure technology, applicable to both vehicles and road infrastructure.

  • The utilization of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) has become increasingly important in educational endeavors. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current status of the utilization of ICT in elementary schools and to investigate problems and tasks to be solved for the effective use of ICT. Concerning the first purpose, a survey was conducted in February 2000, and the results are reported in this paper. For the second purpose, hindering factors are analyzed in relation to hardware, software, teacher training, curriculum, and administrative and financial support. Undoubtedly, ICT has been playing an important role in education. The effectiveness of this role largely depends upon how ICT is utilized in educational setting. Thus educators should carefully consider all aspects of the implementation of ICT, and devote efforts to solve problems occurring in the process of the implementation.

  • This paper suggests that it provides a electricity management system for wasting electricity, from power demand growth environments. This Energy management system based on ICT(Information & Communication Technology) can control Smart Power Outlet connecting to this system with Web Browser and Android phone, anytime, anywhere. Through analysis of acquisition data from them, this proposed system can monitor and control power consumption efficiently. This system was organized mesh network of Smart Power Outlet, gateway by wireless Zigbee, and ESS(Energy Saving System) by TCP/IP beyond existing limit of communication distance and space.

  • In this paper, we designed the on-line Real-time Video Communication Learning System(RVCLS) for Web-based project learning and develop programs for test groups. And we have also analyzed how the Web-based learning using RVCLS change the students' perception on the classroom environment, using the WIHIC which is the classroom environment examination tool As a result, the Web-based project learning activities using RVCLS had affirmative effects on the eight areas of classroom environment such as students unity, teacher support, participation in class, spontaneity, exploration activities, task-oriented mind, cooperative attitude, and equality. Also, the web -based project learning using RVCLS is expected to help students enhance the self-directed learning capacity and increase abilities to use ICT.
