T-S Model Based Robust Indirect Adaptive Fuzzy Control

  • In this paper, we propose a robust indirect adaptive fuzzy state feedback regulator based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. The proposed adaptive fuzzy regulator is less sensitive to singularity than the conventional one based on the feedback linearization method. Furthermore, the proposed control method is applicable to not only plants with a perfect model but also plants with an imperfect model, which causes uncertainties. We verify the global stability of the proposed method by using Lyapunov method. In order to support the achievement, the application of the proposed adaptive fuzzy regulator to the control of a nonlinear system under the external disturbance is presented and the performance was verified by some simulation result.

  • A composite adaptive dual fuzzy controller combining the approximate mathematical model, linguistic model description, linguistic control rules and identification modeling error into a single adaptive fuzzy controller is developed for a nonlinear system. It ensures the system output tracks the desired reference value and excites the plant sufficiently for accelerating the parameter estimation process so that the control performances are greatly improved. Using the Lyapunov synthesis approach, proposed controller is analyzed and simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.

늑막직하 농양을 동반한 결핵성 간장 육아종 1례 치험 (Hepatic Tuberculous Granuloma with Subphrenic Abscess - A Case Report -)

  • We experienced a rare hepatic tuberculous granuloma with subphrenic abscess. The patient was 45-years old female. She complained the right flank pain and tenderness on the protruding mass for 2 weeks. It was fixed, erythematous and 5x5cm sized mass, which was thought as cold abscess. She has done the hysterectomy as endometriosis at November 1990. Under general endotracheal anesthesia, the mass was incised, but the pus was not found. The needle aspiration was done through the 8th ICS, then the yellowish non-foul odor pus was rushed out. The 7th and 8th ribs were resected segmentally about 5cm. The abscess cavity was placed in the subphrenic area, therefore the operative fields extended along the 8th ICS. After the evacuation of subphrenic abscess, the granulomatous tissues from the superior aspect of liver was seen. The granuloma was resected and the penrose drainage was inserted. The tuberculosis was resulted from the 8th ICS muscles. subphrenic abscess and granuloma on the pathology report.

Intelligent and Robust Face Detection

  • A face detection in color images is important for many multimedia applications. It is first step for face recognition and can be used for classifying specific shorts. This paper describes a new method to detect faces in color images based on the skin color and hair color. This paper presents a fuzzy-based method for classifying skin color region in a complex background under varying illumination. The Fuzzy rule bases of the fuzzy system are generated using training method like a genetic algorithm(GA). We find the skin color region and hair color region using the fuzzy system and apply the convex-hull to each region and find the face from their intersection relationship. To validity the effectiveness of the proposed method, we make experiment with various cases.

  • SSB, VHF 등의 장비에 의한 무선통신은 아직도 중요한 정보전달의 수단으로 사용되고 있으며, 무선국으로부터 원거리에 설치되는 장비에 대해서는 전용회선을 사용하여 원격제어로 송ㆍ수신을 행하고 있다. 그러나 무선국에서 다수의 사용자가 다수의 장비에 임으로 접속하고 운용을 해야하는 환경에서는 ICS(Intergrated Communication System:통합통신시스템)의 회선접속 제어기가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 ICS의 개발을 위하여 ASK(Amplitude Shift Keying) 변조방식에 의한 PTT(Press To Talk) 제어와 신호의 전송회로를 구성하여 실험하였고, 멀티-프로쎄싱에 의한 회선접속 제어기를 설계하여 통합 통신운용에 대한 알고리즘을 연구하였다. Keying에 의하여 m 신호를 단속하였고 지속되는 PTT 신호에 음성신호를 합성시켜 전송시키는 형태의 ASK 변조방식을 취하여 전송되도록 하였고, 회선접속 제어기는 master와 다수의 slave 프로쎄서를 멀티-프로쎄싱의 직렬데이터 전송방식으로 프로쎄서 상호간에 데이타가 전달되도록 구성하였다. 이에 따른 S/W 는 멀티-프로쎄싱의 인터럽트기법을 최대한 활용하여 원하는 회선에 정확히 접속되어 통신이 이루어지도록 설계하였다. 따라서 이 연구는 주파수 자원의 고갈과 통신량의 증가에 대한 대책의 일환으로 저비용의 시설로 재래식 장비의 운용 효율을 증대시키는 기술의 개발에 목적이 있다.

  • This paper describes a system for tracking a face in a input video sequence using facial convex hull based facial segmentation and a robust hausdorff distance. The algorithm adapts YCbCr color model for classifying face region by [l]. Then, we obtain an initial face model with preprocessing and convex hull. For tracking, a Robust Hausdorff distance is computed and the best possible displacement is selected. Finally, the previous face model is updated using the displacement t. It is robust to some noises and outliers. We provide an example to illustrate the proposed tracking algorithm in video sequences obtained from CCD camera.

  • Ultra-high-speed analog and digital ICs (integrated circuits) fur 10Gbit/sec optical communication systems have been designed, fabricated and analyzed in this research. These circuits, which are laser diode (LD) driver, pre-amplifier, automatic gain controlled (AGC) amplifier, limiting amplifier and decision circuit, have been implemented with AIGaAs/GaAs heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs). The optimized AIGaAs/GaAs HBTs for the 10Gbps circuits in this work showed the cutoff and maximum oscillation frequencies of 65㎓ and 53㎓, respectively. It is demonstrated in this paper that the 10Gbps optical communication system can be realized with the ICs designed and fabricated using AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs.

  • This paper proposes a new artificial immune approach to hardware test. A novel algorithm of generating tolerance conditions is suggested based on the principle of the antibody diversity. Tolerance conditions in artificial immune system correspond to the antibody in biological immune system. The suggested method is applied to the on-line monitoring of a typical FSM (a decade counter) and its effectiveness is demonstrated by the computer simulation.
