In case of a high-speed D.I. diesel engine. the injected fuel spray is unavoidable that the impinging on the wall of piston cavity and in this case the geometry of piston cavity has a great influence on the atomization structure and air flow fields. In the field of combustion and in many other spray applications, there are clear evidence of correlation between spray structure and emission of pollutants. Ordinary, the combustion chamber of driving engine have unsteady turbulent flow be attendant on such as the change of temperature, velocity and pressure. So the analysis of spray behavior is difficult. In this study, a single spray was impinged on each cavity wall at indicated angle in a quiescent atmosphere at room temperature and pressure, as being the simplest case, and 3 types of piston cavity such as Dish, Toroidal and Re-entrant type was tested for analyzing the influence of cavity geometry. And hot wire probe was used for analyze non-steady flow characteristics of impinging spray, and to investigate the behavior of spray, the aspects of concentration c(t), standard deviation $\sigma(t)$ and variation factor (v.f.) was measured with the lapse of time.
The dynamic properties of short-fiber reinforced Chloroprene rubber have been studied as functions of interphase conditions and fiber content. The loss factor generally decreased with fiber content and showed different patterns according to interphase conditions. The better interphase condition showed the lower loss modulus, $E_2$. Also, the dynamic ratio decreased with fiber content and rapidly decreased in the case of double coatings, i.e., model C. Therefore, the short-fiber reinforced rubber could have the better isolation in frequency ratio($\sqrt{2}$ min.) compared to frequency ratio($\sqrt{2}$ max.). And we have investigate the possibility of applying short-fiber reinforced rubber to automotive engine mount.

In a small high-speed D. I. diesel engine, the injected fuel spray into the atmosphere of the high temperature is burnt by go through the process of break up, atomization, evaporation and process of ignition. These process are important to decide the emission control and the rate of fuel consumption and out put of power. Especially, in the case of injected fuel spray impinging on the wall of piston cavity, the geometry of piston cavity gives great influence the ignitability of injected fuel and the flame structure. Ordinary, the combustion chamber of driving engine have unsteady turbulent flow be attendant on such as the change of temperature, velocity and pressure. So the analysis of spray behavior is difficult. In this study, the spray was impinged on the wall of 3 types of piston cavity such as Dish, Toroidal, Re-entrant type, in order to analyze the combustion process of impinging spray precisely and systematically. And hot wire probe was used for analyze non-steady flow characteristics of impinging spray, and to investigate the behavior of spray, the aspects of concentration c(t), standard deviation σ(t) and variation factor(vf) was measured with the lapse of time.
The amount of grain loss incurred during harvesting operation through the chaff-outlet of combine may not be negligible. To minimize this grain loss and optimize condition of combining, it may be necessary that the amount of chaff-outlet loss dependent on varying crop condition is to be estimated as exactly as possible. This study was thus intended to develop the monitor that could indicate the amount of grain loss occurred through the chaff-outlet of combine during harvesting operation. The function of this monitor is to measure at the sounding board the impact sound of paddy kernels which could be distinguished from those of other threshing products through chaff-outlet, and from vibration or noise created by the combine engine and other moving parts. To develop such monitor, the frequency distributions of each sound generated by the impact of grain and chaff, the sound generated by the impact of the mixture of grain and chaff, and vibration or noise created by the combine engine and other moving parts were investigated experimentally. From the results of frequency analyses, the trainsducer adequate for the monitering system was selected and sounding board was constructed. The grain loss monitor thus obtained was tested by attaching the sounding board to the chaff-outlet of combine.

Security has become one of the major concerns in mobile adhoc networks (MANETs). Data and voice communication amongst roaming battlefield entities (such as platoon of soldiers, inter-battlefield tanks and military aircrafts) served by MANETs throw several challenges. It requires complex securing strategy to address threats such as unauthorized network access, man in the middle attacks, denial of service etc., to provide highly reliable communication amongst the nodes. Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) undoubtedly is a crucial ingredient to address these threats. IDPS in MANET is managed by Command Control Communication and Intelligence (C3I) system. It consists of networked computers in the tactical battle area that facilitates comprehensive situation awareness by the commanders for timely and optimum decision-making. Key issue in such IDPS mechanism is lack of Smart Learning Engine. We propose a novel behavioral based "Smart Multi-Instance Multi-Label Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (MIML-IDPS)" that follows a distributed and centralized architecture to support a Robust C3I System. This protocol is deployed in a virtually clustered non-uniform network topology with dynamic election of several virtual head nodes acting as a client Intrusion Detection agent connected to a centralized server IDPS located at Command and Control Center. Distributed virtual client nodes serve as the intelligent decision processing unit and centralized IDPS server act as a Smart MIML decision making unit. Simulation and experimental analysis shows the proposed protocol exhibits computational intelligence with counter attacks, efficient memory utilization, classification accuracy and decision convergence in securing C3I System in a Tactical Battlefield environment.

Smart hand-held devices like iPhone, iPad, Andriod and other mobile-OS machines are becoming a well known part of our daily lives. Utilization of these devices has gone beyond the expectations of their inventors. Evolution of Apple's iOS from a mobile phone Operating System to a wholesome platform for Portable Gaming is an adequate proof. Using these smart devices people are downloading applications from numerous online App Stores. Utilizing remote storage facilities and confining themselves to computing power far below than an entry level laptop, netbooks have emerged. Google's idea of Chrome OS coupled with Google's AppEngine is an eye-opener for researchers and developers. Keeping all these industry-proven innovations in mind we are proposing a Context-Driven Cloud-Oriented Application Architecture for smart devices. This architecture enables our smart devices to behave smarter by utilizing very less of local resources.
By using a premixed laminar burner, the effect of mixture component on laminar burning velocity($S_L$) was investigated. The following was made clear ; (1)As the humidity$(H_2O)$, $CO_2$ and Ar in mixture is increased, $S_L$ decreased in proportion to quantity of those dilution gases. (2) The heat reaction theory says that mean thermal conductivity $(\lambda_m)$, specific heat $(C_{pm})$ of mixture and adiabatic flame temperatures $(T_b)$ affect $S_L$. As a result of theoretical analysis, the effect of $\lambda_m\;and\;C_{pm}$ on $S_L$ is less than 1/25 of the effect of $T_b$, so the effect of $\lambda_m\;and\;C_{pm}$ can be ignored. (3) From experimental results, it was confirmed that $\ln(S_L)$ is proportional to $(1/T_b)$, that is, the effect of $H_2O$ on $S_L$ is mainly caused by changes of $T_b$. This conclusion was verified by the fact increases of $H_2O,\;CO_2$ and Ar decrease the intensity of radiation typical $C_2$, CH, and OH in the same manner.
A HEV evaluation program, funded by ADEME, was carried out by a group of Laboratories of different specialties in order to evaluate and compare consumption, emission and component technologies of the three first HEVs put on the market (Toyota Prius, Nissan Tino and Honda Insight). This paper presents the results obtained until now. These results show good consumption and emission performance of the tested vehicles compared to conventional ones. The energy management seems to be globally the same for the three vehicles excepting for cold stans where the Insight allows a very earlier stop of the engine compared to the Tino and especially to the Prius. A mapping of the engine consumption of the Prius and the Insight was performed in order to furnish data for the simulation models. The Permanent Magnet motors of the Prius and Tino have different number of pair poles and then different emf at a given speed. The low emf values of the Prius allow operation at high speed with less field weakening control than for the Tino. The inverters of the Prius and the Tino, controlled by a PWM at respectively 5 kHz and 7 kHz switching frequency, are made of IGBTs with high commutation performances.

IEEE 802.11i is an amendment to the original IEEE 802.11/b,a,g standard specifying security mechanism by stipulating RSNA for tighter security. The RSNA uses TKIP(Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) and CCMP(Counter with CBC-MAC Protocol) instead of old-fashioned WEP(Wired Equivalent Privacy) for data encryption. This paper describes a design of a communication security engine for IEEE 802.11i MAC layer. The design includes WEP and TKIP modules based on the RC4 encryption algorithm, and CCMP module based on the AES encryption algorism. The WEP module suffices for compatibility with the IEEE 802.11 b,a,g MAC layer. The CCMP module has about 816.7Mbps throughput at 134MHz, hence it satisfies maximum 600Mbps data rate described in the IEEE 802.11n specifications. We propose a pipelined AES-CCMP cipher core architecture, which has lower hardware cost than existing AES cores, because CBC mode and CTR mode operate at the same time.
