We present an analysis of the stellar population of compact elliptical galaxies (cEs) in various environments. Following conventional selection criteria of cEs, we created a list of cE candidates in the redshift range of z < 0.05 using SDSS DR12 catalog. We finally selected cEs with low-luminosity (Mg > 18.7 mag), small effective radius (Re < 600 pc), and high velocity dispersion (> 60 kms-1). We divide our cE sample into those inside and outside of the one virial radius of the bright (Mr < -21 mag) nearby host galaxy which is then defined as cEs with (cEw) and without (cEw/o) host galaxy, respectively. We investigated the stellar population properties of cEs based on the Hb, Mgb, Fe 5270, and Fe 5335 line strengths from the OSSY catalog. We found that cEw has a systematically higher metallicity than cEw/o. In the velocity dispersion-Mgb distribution, while cEw/o follows the relation of early-type galaxies, cEw are found to have a systematically higher metallicity than cEw/o at a given velocity dispersion. The different feature in the metallicity between cEw and cEw/o can suggest that two different scenarios can be provided in the formation of cEs. cEw would be the remnant cores of the massive progenitor galaxies that their outer parts have been tidally stripped by massive neighbor galaxies (i.e., nurture origin). On the other hand, cEw/o are likely to be faint-end of early-type galaxies maintaining in-situ evolution (i.e., nurture origin).

이 연구는 "하서전집"의 인용문헌 분석을 통해 김인후의 독서관을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 최소한 123종의 책을 독서했으며, "사서삼경", "사기", "한서", "장자", "고문진보", "초사", "문선"을 가장 많이 인용하였다. 김인후는 16세기 선비들이 보여주는 공통적인 독서범주를 뛰어넘은 다양한 독서, 시대상에 구애받지 않은 자유로운 독서를 했음을 알 수 있다. 그의 독서관은 성리학의 경서를 중요시 여겼으며 또한 다양한 독서를 통하여 실생활에 유익한 지식을 얻음과 동시에 방대한 저술의 바탕을 마련하였다.

We present a study of outflows on 24 embedded young stellar objects selected from the source list of the Dust, Ice, and Gas in Time (DIGIT) Herschel key program. To study the relation between the CO outflows observed in low-J transitions and the properties of protostars more consistently with a homogeneous data set, we mapped the CO outflows of the selected targets in the J = 1-0 and J = 2-1 lines with two Korean telescopes (SRAO and TRAO). We compare CO outflow force ($F_{CO}$) with the bolometric luminosity, ($L_{bol}$) bolometric temperature, and the FIR molecular line luminosities of CO, $H_2O$, OH, and [O I] detected by the Herschel-PACS observations. We find that $F_{CO}$ of J = 1-0 is greater than that of 2-1 by a factor of ~ 2. The well known correlation between $F_{CO\;2-1}$ and $L_{bol}$ is not very evident in our sample as a whole, but they show a rather strong correlation when IRAM 04191+1522 is excluded. IRAM 04191+1522 has relatively high $F_{CO\;2-1}$ in spite of its low $L_{bol}$. This object is a well-known VeLLO, which is believed in the quiescent phase of the episodic mass accretion in the embedded stage. $L_{bol}$ traces a current accretion, but $F_{CO\;2-1}$ traces accretion happened long ago. Therefore, the low-$L_{bol}$ with the high-$F_{CO\;2-1}$ can be explained by the episodic accretion. $F_{CO\;2-1}$ shows little correlation with individual FIR line luminosities of CO, $H_2O$, OH, while [O I] and total FIR line luminosity seem to have correlations with $F_{CO\;2-1}$. This result is interpreted as the accretion energy deposits on species differently depending on shock properties, but the total FIR line luminosity sums the total accretion energy dispersed to different species.

NAND 플래시 메모리는 특성상 덮어쓰기 연산이 불가능하기 때문에 지움 연산이 선행되어야 하므로 I/O 처리 속도가 느려지게 되어 성능저하의 원인이 된다. 또한 지움 횟수가 제한적 이어서 지움 연산이 빈번히 발생하게 되면, NAND 플래시 메모리의 수명이 줄어든다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 NAND 플래시 메모리의 특성을 고려한 쓰기 지연 기법을 사용하면, 쓰기 횟수가 줄어들어 I/O 성능 향상에 도움이 되지만, 캐시 적중률이 낮아진다. 본 논문은 NAND 플래시 메모리 파일 시스템을 위한 더블캐시를 활용한 페이지 관리 정책을 제안한다. 더블 캐시는 실질적인 캐시인 Real Cache와 참조 페이지의 패턴을 관찰하기 위한 Ghost Cache로 구성된다. 이 정책은 Ghost Cache에서 쓰기를 지연함으로써 Real Cache에서의 적중률을 유지할 수 있고, Ghost Cache를 Dirty 리스트와 Clean 리스트로 구성하여 Dirty 페이지에 대한 탐색 시간을 줄임으로써 쓰기 연산 성능을 높인다. 기존 정책들과의 성능을 비교한 결과 제안된 정책이 기존 정책들에 비해 평균적으로 적중률은 20.57%, 그리고 I/O 성능은 20.59% 우수했고, 쓰기 횟수는 30.75% 줄었다.

This paper proposes a gate and functional level logic simulator which can be run on XENIX O.S. The simulator has hierarchical structure including Hardware Description Language compiler, Waveform Description Language compiler, and Simulation Command Language compiler. The Hardware Description Language compiler generates data structure composed of gate structure, wire structure, condition structure, and event structure. Simulation algorithm is composed of selective trace and event-driven methods. To improve simulation speed, Cross Referenced Linked List Structure ia defined in building the data structure of circuits.

In this paper, the development of an IMM(Injection Molding Machine) controller is discussed. Presently, the Mold Close and Open Control Method of a toggle-type IMM is open-loop control. Through the development, a PC based control system was built instead of an existing controller and a closed-loop control replaced the previous control method by using PC based PLC. To control the nonlinear system of toggle type clamping unit, a fuzzy PI control algorithm was selected and it was programmed by an IL(Instruction List) and a LD(Ladder Diagram) on a PC based PLC. The application of fuzzy algorithm as the control method was also considered to change a control object like a mold replacement or an additional apparatus. For the development of an IMM controller, PC based PLC of PCI card type, distributed I/O modules with CANopen and Industrial PC and HMI (Human Machine Interface) software were used.

The personal video recorder is a consumer electronics device that records television shows to a hard disk in digital format. In this paper, we propose an implementation method of personal video recorder for digital TV. The proposed personal video recorder includes cpu and system control modules, graphics and display module, audio DSP module, digital I/O module, NIM module, graphic software library, and embedded software modules for providing a lot of PVR functions such as live or reserved recordings, browsing of recorded content list, trick play and time shifting. Especially, combining trick play with time shifting makes much more convenient functions such as pausing live TV, instant replay of interesting scenes, and skipping advertising.

광견병(rabies)은 국제수역사무국에서 지정한 동물전염병 분류 List B에 속하며, 전염병 코드 번호는 B 058이다. 본 병의 병명은 영어로는 , 불어로는 , 스페인어로는 로 표기하며, 특히 인체에서의 본병에 대하여는 로 표현한다. 우리말로는 동물에서의 질병을 <광견병>, 인체에서의 본병을 <공수병>으로 부르고 있다. 병인체는 Rhabdoviridae에 속하는 Lyssavirus이며, 최대 잠복 기간(maximum incubation period)은 6개월로 알려져 있다. 인수공통전염병(zoonosis)의 1종이다. 매개체(vector)로 작용하는 절지동물은 없는 것으로 알려져 있다. 광견병과 관련하여, 동물의 국제교역을 위한 동물검역 시행에 있어서 반드시 적용하여야 할 사항인 국제수역사무국(O.I.E) 제정 동물위생 규약(Zoo-sanitary Code)을 번역하여 소개한다.

산업현장에서 이용되는 임베디드 시스템의 메모리와 디스크는 일반 PC에 비해 제한되어 있다. 임베디드 시스템에서도 처리하는 작업에 따라 성능과 안정성을 요구하는 DB를 필요로 한다. 전자지불 분야 임베디드 환경은 적은 메모리 용량과 저속인 I/O성능의 HDD를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 전자지불 분야 임베디드 환경에서 필요한 전자카드 리스트 관리용 DB 엔진을 설계하고 구현하였다.
