The oxytrichid ticks collected from the cultivated field in Yonchon-gun, Misan-myon Kyonggi-do near Seoul, Korea and the moss-covered soils on the old castle walls in Namhansansons, Kwansiu-gun, Kyonggi-do near Seoul, Korea were Identified as Histriculus cavicola (Kahl, 19351 and H. muscorum Kahl, 1932. These two species were redescribed with illustrations. The description was based on the obsenration of living specimens, protarsol impregnated specimens and biometric analysis. These are reported for the first time from Korea and distinguished from the other congeneric species by the following characteristics: the former has 4 macronuclei, 4 micronuclei, 5 transverse cirri and rather inconspicuous marginal cirri, while the latter, 2 macronuclei, 2 micronuclei, 4 transverse cirri and conspicuous marginal cirri, respecitvely.

경기도의 세 지점의 소나무숲, 초원 및 이끼의 토양에서 채집된 하모류 중에서 양열하모충과의 두 종 Amphisiella acuta Foissner와 Orthoamphisiella stramen-ticola Eigner and Foissner가 한국에서 처음으로 밝혀져서 생체와 protargol로 염색한 표본에 근거하여 형질을 통계처리하고 재기재하였다.

서울대학교 관악캠퍼스의 이끼로 덮힌 토양에서 채집된 하모류가 Holosticha multistylata Kahl, 1928와 H. sylvatica Foissner, 1982로 밝혀져서 재기재하였다. 기재는 서식처에서 채집된 표본과 배양된 것을 생체로 관찰하고 protargol로 염색하여 섬모하부구조를 관찰한 자료를 통계처리하여 실시하였다. 이 두 종은 한국에서 처음으로 기록되는 종으로 아래의 식별형질로 구분된다. 다구극모전열하모충은 4개의 전방극모, 3개의 구극모와 3개의 구극모와 3개의 등쪽섬모열을 가지는 반면 삼림전열하무충은 7-8개의 전방극모, 1개의 구극모와 5개의 등쪽섬모열을 가진다.

저 자들은 1986년 11월 6일부터 1987년 11월 8일 사이에 서울지역 한강의 9개 지점에서 원생동물의 섬모충류 가운데서 하모류를 대상으로 채집, 배양하고 세포형태학적 방법으로 연구한 결과 4과 7종의 하모류가 동정되었다. 이 종들 가운데 Paraurostyla weissei (Stein, 1859), EuPlotes patella (O.F. Miiller, 1773), Aspidisca cicada (O.F. Muller, 1786)등 3종은 한국에서 과거의 기록이 없는 종 들이다. 지금까지 하모류에 관한 분류학적 연구가 없어 동정된 종들에 대해서는 삽화와 사진을 첨부하여 상세히 재기재 하였다. 또한 세포형태학적 형질들 가운데서 23개의 형질을 택하여 조사된 7종 간의 유사성을 수리분류학적 방법으로 분석해 본 결과 기존의 분류체계와 거의 일치하는 유집 (clustering)을 보였다.

Three species of oxvtrichid hypotrichs collected from the Han River on Sune 6, and August 26, 1992 have been cultured at laboratory. Thev were identified as Oxvtricha hvmenostoma Stokes, .1887, 0. hoemutoplasma Blatterer and Foissner, 1990 and Tochvsomu pellionellum (Muller, 1773). These species are reported for the first time from Korea. Morphological and biometrical studies were carried out by observing both wild and cultured cells and the infraciliature of silver stained specimens. The present species were redescribed and analvzed biometricallv.
