  • SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) and its application to full-text database including a table, a figure and a picture are explained. A structure of SGML based full-text database Is defined by DTD(document type definition) written in SGML, and full-text itself is described with generalized markup depending on DTD. This article explains how to represent a document structure : a hierarchical structure like a chapter, a section, or a paragraph, or non-hierarchical(referencial) structure like a note, a table, a figure or a picture. Merits of SGML, electronic publishing, a retrieval system or hypertext and SGML tools are also described.

또한, 이 방법을 이용하여 개발한 HE(Hypertext Encyclopedia) 시스템을 소개한다.

  • Most document consists of primary content and supporting material, such as footnotes, detailed explanations, and illustrations, and the related supporting materials are linked as hypertext on web document. However the content of hypertext links Is appeared in the new windows on present web browser. Then the user will leave the primary material, may lose the entire context, and must have some difficulties to return to the primary context when the interest disappears. Using the technique for fluid links, we can solve these problems easily. If the mouse is putted on the link, the related material is presented in between lines or at margin maintaining the context of primary material. In this paper, we introduce the various browsing techniques using fluid links, analyze the forms and the features, and then we propose the best way to implement inJava.

  • The modern society is rapidly changing through the development of computer network technology. By generation a collapse of boundaries between may important social institutions, computer networking has affected culture, economy and the physical environment. Because of this, people face a switchover from a simple society, to a compound society. It will also increase the diversity if society's demand, though, and experience. This change is not an exception in the exhibition space. People are more interested in civilized pastimes and also demand diverse thinking. So as a necessary consequence, the function of museum space Is offended and that there are various attempt to increase information and demand of that space. The purpose of this study is try to find a solution a countermeasure of modern society's mobile situation. Researchers analyzed structural qualities of Hyper-text; non-boundary, interaction and nonlinear and deduce nine kinds of methods to apply in space. Also, Researchers looked at the examples in museum space and derived like this expression way; dynamics, mobility, a non-materiality, continuity, complexity from analysis of expression way.

  • The current Internet space is evolving to the so called Ubiquitous space. Unlike the Internet space, the information in the Ubiquitous space is distributed evenly in the places like computer's memory, human's brain and physical machine. The 'hypertext', the connection model of the information, which is originally designed for the Internet space doesn't suit well to the Ubiquitous space. From this point of view, we proposed the CPM model in this paper. The CPM model is designed for comprising the such three computing mechanism as analog computing, digital computing and human computing. In this paper, we showed that the characteristics of the CPM model might answer the such purpose as the connection of information in the Ubiquitous space.

  • Safety accidents are of concern during construction projects, even given the recent innovations in digital technologies. These projects remain focused on overcoming specific and limited applications on construction sites. For this reason, the development of an inclusive safety management system has become crucial. This study aims to build a Big Data platform to inform decisions on how to proactively eliminate worker hazards on construction sites. The platform consists of about 100,000 real records and a real-time monitored database featuring various safety indices, such as workers' altitudes, heart rates, and fatigability during construction, which are determined through various wearable devices. The data types are customized and integrated by a research team in accordance with the characteristics of a specific project using hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP). The results can be helpful as efficient tools to ensure successful safety management in complex construction situations. This study is expected to provide three significant contributions to the field, including real-time fatigability analysis and tracking of workers on-site; providing early GPS-based warnings to workers who might be accessing dangerous spaces or places; and monitoring the workers' health indices, based on details from 100,000 cases.

  • This paper presents a novel feature engineering technique that can improve the conventional machine learning-based text classification systems. The proposed method extends the initial set of features by using hyperlink relationships in order to effectively categorize hypertext web documents. Web documents are connected to each other through hyperlinks, and in many cases hyperlinks exist among highly related documents. Such hyperlink relationships can be used to enhance the quality of features which consist of classification models. The basic idea of the proposed method is to generate a sort of ed concept feature which consists of a few raw feature words; for this, the method computes the semantic similarity between a target document and its neighbor documents by utilizing hierarchical relationships in the WordNet ontology. In developing classification models, the ed concept features are equated with other raw features, and they can play a great role in developing more accurate classification models. Through the extensive experiments with the Web-KB test collection, we prove that the proposed methods outperform the conventional ones.

  • This paper reviews how to access the ergonomic information through internet-the world-wide computer networks. Recently, with the growth of hypertext type Internet-the WWW (World-Wide Web), it becomes much easier to access to the Internet and we can retrieve information very effeciently. In order to search the ergonomic information, this paper also reviews the famous Web search engines like Lycos, Web Crawler, and meta-indices like YAHOO. Also, useful Web-sites of ergonomics/human factors such as ErgoWeb are summarised.

  • This paper deals with the methods as well as the problems associated with automatic extraction indexing and assignment indexing, expert systems for indexing, and major approaches currently used to index the Internet resources. It also briefly reviews basic methods for establishing hypertext/hypermedia links automatically. The methods used in much of text processing today are not particularly new. Most of the them were used, perhaps in a more rudimentary form, 30 or more years ago by Luhn and many other investigators. Better results can be achieved today because much greater bodies of electronic text are now avaliable and the power of present-day computers allows the processing of such text with reasonable efficiency.
