부정류 유출 및 흡입시험에 대한 불포화 투수계수의 역해석 (Back Analysis of Unsaturated Hydraulic Conductivities for Transient Water Release and Imbibitions Measurement)

  • 불포화 투수계수 추정을 위하여 부정류 유출 및 흡입시험을 수행하였고 그 결과를 이용하여 역해석을 수행하였다. 부정류 수리특성을 이용하면 함수특성곡선 및 불포화투수계수를 정확하고 효율적으로 구할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 세가지 시료에 대한 실험을 세분화된 모관흡수력에 대하여 실행하고 시간에 따른 함수비의 변화를 정밀하게 측정하였다. 역해석과 실험결과를 비교한 결과, 시간에 따른 유량의 변화를 신뢰성 있게 계산할 수 있었다. 역해석의 해로 구한 함수특성곡선에서는 실험결과와 근사하게 나타났다. 불포화 투수계수곡선에서는 함수특성곡선으로부터 이론적으로 구한 곡선과 비교하였으나 역해석 결과와는 다소 차이를 보였다. 하지만 실험적 및 해석적 기법을 병행하여 획득한 불포화 수리적 거동이 실제거동에 부합된다고 판단된다.

  • In this paper, the hydraulic oil pressure distributions are measured in the clearance gap between a stationary piston and moving cylinder apparatus. The results showed that the hydrodynamic pressure distributions are highly affected by the speed of cylinder and further experimental and analytical studies are required to obtain more accurate results. Therefore present experimental method can be used to enhance the performance of various hydraulic components adopting the piston-cylinder mechanism.

단순회귀분석에 의한 배수성 아스팔트의 투수계수 산정모델 제안 (Proposal for the Estimation of the Hydraulic Conductivity of Porous Asphalt Concrete Pavement using Regression Analysis)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to construct the regression models of drainage asphalt concrete specimens and to provide the appropriate coefficients of hydraulic conductivity prediction models. METHODS: In terms of easy calculation of the hydraulic conductivity from porosity of asphalt concrete pavement, the estimation model of hydraulic conductivity was proposed using regression analysis. 10 specimens of drainage asphalt concrete pavement were made for measurement of the hydraulic conductivity. Hydraulic conductivity model proposed in this study was calculated by empirical model based on porosity and the grain size. In this study, it shows the compared results from permeability measured test and empirical equation, and the suitability of proposed model, using regression analysis. RESULTS: As the result of the regression analysis, the hydraulic conductivity calculated from the proposal model was similar to that resulted from permeability measured test. Also result of RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) analysis, a proposed regression model is resulted in more accurate model. CONCLUSIONS: The proposed model can be used in case of estimating the hydraulic conductivity at drainage asphalt concrete pavements in fields.

  • Uroflowmetry is non-invasive and easily performed to diagnose benign prostatic hypertrophy(BPH) frequent in aged men. Weight change during urination is usually measured to estimate the urinary flow rate by a load cell, but sensitive to any impacts against the bottom of the container, leading to unnecessary noise generation. Moreover, load cells are relatively expensive raising the production cost. The present study proposed a new technique, measuring hydraulic pressure on the bottom of the urine container to evaluate the urinary volume. Low cost pressure transducer enabled almost perfectly linear relationship between the urine volume and the hydraulic pressure. During both the simulated and human urination experiments, variance of the pressure signal was more than 50% smaller than the weight signal acquired by a load cell, which demonstrated that the impact noise was decreased to a great degree by pressure compared to weight measurement.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of excessive horizontal stress components in Korea were studied using the in-situ hydraulic fracturing stress measurement data over five hundred in 110 individual test boreholes. Based on the in-situ testing data, the magnitude and orientation of the horizontal stress component and variation of stress ratio (K) with depth were investigated. And also horizontal stress magnitude versus depth relationships and distribution limits of stress ratio components were suggested. For the subsurface space above 310 m depth in the entire territory, the stress ratio has a tendency to diminish and be stabilized with depth, but for some areas, it was revealed that the excessive horizontal stress fields with stress ratio close to 3.0 below 200 m in depth have formed. The result of investigation for excessive horizontal stress regions indicates that there exist several regions above 300 m in depth where localized excessive horizontal stresses enough to induce potentially brittle failure around future openings have formed.

  • 방사성폐기물 처분장의 건설에 가장 중요한 부분 중의 하나는 처분안전성의 확보이다. 처분시스템의 기본적인 기능은 처분된 폐기물을 인간 환경으로부터 완벽하게 고립시켜 처분장 내에 영구적으로 격리시키는 것이다. 토양에서 수리전도도는 핵종의 이동과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 그러나 아직까지 국내에서 불포화 토양에 대한 수리 특성 연구는 많이 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 빠르고 간단하게 불포화 수리 인자값을 산출하는 방법을 제시한다. 토양수분특성곡선과 수리전도도의 산출은 One-Step Outflow Method를 이용하였다.

  • Uroflowmetry is of great convenience to diagnose benign prostate hypertrophy common in aged men. The urinary flow rate is obtained by weight measurement using load cell, however, sensitive to impact noise. An alternative technique was recently proposed to measure hydraulic pressure instead of weight and demonstrated to introduce significantly reduced noise. In this paper, we described the measured diagnostic parameters between the weight and pressure measuring techniques in 10 normal men. The weight and pressure signals were simultaneously acquired during urination, converted into urine volumes, then differentiated to obtain flow rate signals, which showed very similar waveforms. Diagnostic parameters evaluated by pressure measuring technique were well correlated with the standard weight measuring technique (correlation coefficient > 0.99). Therefore, the new uroflowmetry based on hydraulic pressure measurement can provide accurate diagnostic parameters, which would be clinically valid.

  • For the establishment of large force standard and the accurate measurement of large force, 2MN hydraulic force standard machine which consists of loading frame, deadweight machine, two ram/cylinder systems and hydraulic control system was designed and fabricated. Measurement results of shapes for tow ram/cylinders reveal that the ratio of effective area is 200.094. The relative deviation of force stability for the machine is about .+-. 0.01% at 2MN and is less than .+-. 0.005% below 2MN. This machine may be widely used to calibrate the force measuring devices in industry and to test the force sensors.

저수두에서 기계식 관수로 유량계의 적용성 평가 (Evaluation of the mechanical pipe flowmeter at low hydraulic head)

  • This study presents an evaluation of the mechanical pipe flowmeter at low hydraulic heads. Three flowmeters each of 75mm and 25mm diameter were used. The Flowmeter was tested with experimental open channel apparatus. Relationship between flowmeter values and bucket values was good. The 75mm diameter flow meter showed small relative errors with hydraulic heads above 9cm. The 25mm diameter flow meter showed small relative errors with hydraulic heads above 2cm. The Irrigation flow measurement using the mechanical pipe flowmeter of 75mm diameter in paddy fields needs hydraulic head above 9cm, which is easy to get in tertiary canals.
