BLDC 서보 모터 펌프를 이용하는 직동력(PBW) 구동시스템의 DSP 제어기 및 구동기 설계 (Design of a DSP Controller and Driver for the Power-by-wire(PBW) Driving System Using BLDC Servo Motor Pump)

  • 본 논문은 BLDC 서보모터 펌프를 사용하는 PBW(power-by-wire) 시스템을 위한 DSP(Digital Signal Processor) 제어기에 대한 연구를 제시한다. PBW 유압 엑츄에이터는 BLDC 서보모터에 의해 구동되는 유압펌프와 유압 실린더 그리고 제어기로 구현된다. 이 PBW 시스템은 유압 실린더의 선형 추진 동작을 위해 서보 모터의 속도 제어를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 벡터 제어 방법과 MIN-MAX PWM 기술을 활용하는 서보 제어기를 구현한다. 제어기로서, PWM 파형발생기, A/D변환기, SPI(직병렬인터페이스) 포트 그리고 많은 입/출력 포트 등을 가지고 있는 이유로 TMS320F2812 DSP가 채택되었다.

Application of discrete wavelet transform to prediction of ram stuck phenomena

  • The ram assembly is important equipment in fueling machine of PHWR(Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor) plant where fuel replacement is possible while the plant is in service. Troubles in the ram assembly can cause lots of difficulties in power plant operation. The ram assembly is typically composed of the B-ram, the L-Ram and the C-Ram. The B-ram is focused in this paper because it plays the most important role in the ram assembly. Among the ram fault phenomena, ram stuck phenomena are the most frequent cases in the B-ram, which has a ball screw mechanism driven by a hydraulic motor. Ram stuck phenomena are due to ball wear and damage in ball nut that increase in proportion to the number of fuel replacement. It is required to predict ram stuck phenomena before they occur. In this paper, a method is proposed for predicting ram stuck phenomena using a discrete wavelet transform. The discrete wavelet transform provides information on both the time and frequency characteristics of the input signals. The proposed method uses the frequency bandwidths of coefficients of discrete wavelet decompositions and detail coefficients of discrete wavelet transform to predict ram stuck phenomena. The signal used in this paper is a torque-related signal such as a hydraulic service outlet pressure signal in a hydraulic driving system or a current signal in a DC motor driving system. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is shown via experiment using ball nut characteristic test equipment that simulates ram stuck phenomena due to increased ball friction in ball nut.

휠로더 시뮬레이션 모델의 개발과 검증 (Development and Validation of Wheel Loader Simulation Model)

  • 본 논문은 Matlab/simulink 기반 휠로더 시뮬레이션 모델의 개발과 검증에 대한 논문이다. 휠로더 시뮬레이션 모델의 개발 및 검증은 실제 휠로더의 생산단계에 앞서 휠로더의 성능을 평가하고 개선하기 위한 목적을 두고 있다. 휠로더 시뮬레이션 모델은 전체적으로 주행부/유압부 동력전달계 모델, 주행부/작업장부 동역학 모델을 포함한 4 가지 모델로 나뉘어져 있다. 휠로더의 주행 및 작업성능을 평가하고 개선하기 위해서는 언급된 4 가지 모델의 통합 시뮬레이션이 필요하며 통합된 시뮬레이션 모델은 성능평가 외의 연료효율의 최적화, 하이브리드 시스템 및 지능형 휠로더 모델의 개발로써 작업효율 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에 제안된 시뮬레이션 모델은 주행부와 작업부 실험 데이터와의 비교를 통해 검증 되었다.

Pre-processing of load data of agricultural tractors during major field operations

  • Development of highly efficient and energy-saving tractors has been one of the issues in agricultural machinery. For design of such tractors, measurement and analysis of load on major power transmission parts of the tractors are the most important pre-requisite tasks. Objective of this study was to perform pre-processing procedures before effective analysis of load data of agricultural tractors (30, 75, and 82 kW) during major field operations such as plow tillage, rotary tillage, baling, bale wrapping, and to select the suitable pre-processing method for the analysis. A load measurement systems, equipped in the tractors, were consisted of strain-gauge, encoder, hydraulic pressure, and radar speed sensors to measure torque and rotational speed levels of transmission input shaft, PTO shaft, and driving axle shafts, pressure of the hydraulic inlet line, and travel speed, respectively. The entire sensor data were collected at a 200-Hz rate. Plow tillage, rotary tillage, baling, wrapping, and loader operations were selected as major field operations of agricultural tractors. Same or different farm works and driving levels were set differently for each of the load measuring experiment. Before load data analysis, pre-processing procedures such as outlier removal, low-pass filtering, and data division were performed. Data beyond the scope of the measuring range of the sensors and the operating range of the power transmission parts were removed. Considering engine and PTO rotational speeds, frequency components greater than 90, 60, and 60 Hz cut off frequencies were low-pass filtered for plow tillage, rotary tillage, and baler operations, respectively. Measured load data were divided into five parts: driving, working, implement up, implement down, and turning. Results of the study would provide useful information for load characteristics of tractors on major field operations.

유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 설계 파라미터 도출 (Inducement of Design Parameters for Reliability Improvement of Servo Actuator for Hydraulic Valve Operation)

  • 유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터는 항공기, 자동차의 유압시스템 그리고 산업용 유압시스템의 정밀한 작동에 중요한 장치이다. 서보 액추에이터의 신뢰성 있는 동작은 전체 유압시스템의 정밀한 제어에 큰 영향을 미친다. 서보 액추에이터의 주파수 응답특성, 스텝 응답특성과 같은 응답특성은 액추에이터의 성능을 판단하는 중요한 기준이 된다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성해석을 통해 신뢰성 있는 동작과 응답특성을 만족시키기 위한 구성 부품에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 신뢰성 있는 동작과 빠른 응답성을 구현하기 위해 현장의 경험적 지식과 문헌 및 전문가의 전자기 이론을 통해 유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터의 설계 파라미터를 도출하였다. 보빈, 요크, 플런저의 설계값, 그리고 코일의 감긴 수와 같은 서보 액추에이터의 설계값들을 결정하는 설계 파라미터를 제안하고, 설계방정식을 통해 산출한 설계값을 유한요소해석을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한 서보 액추에이터가 장착된 유압밸브의 성능시험을 통해 제안한 설계 방안의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper was undertaken to do morphological analysis of wear particles for sliding members hydrauric rotary acuator. The lubricating wear test was performed under different experimental conditions using the wear test device and wear specimens of the pin on disk type was rubbed in paraffinic base oil by three kinds of lubricating materials, varying applied load, sliding distance. The four shape parameters (50% volumetric diameter, aspect, roundness and reflectivity) are used for morphological analysis of wear particles. The results showed that the four shape parameters of wear particles depend on a kind of the lubricating materials. It was capable of presuming wear volume for three kinds of materials on driving time.

라인압력제어 전자화 CVT 차량의 응답 특성 (Response Characteristics of Metal Belt CVT Vehicle with Electronic Controlled Line Pressure)

  • An electronic-hydraulic controlled line pressure system was suggested based on the mechanical controlled CVT base model. As a high level control strategy, a 3-D optimal line pressure map was obtained considering the driver's desire, driving conditions. Also, PID type low level controller was designed. Using the high level control strategy and the dynamic models of the base model CVT with electronic controlled line pressure system, performance simulations were carried out. It is seen from the simulation results that fuel economy of the electronic controlled strategy keeps the line pressure low, which results in the improved efficiency of the hydraulic system.

  • Pressure control is possible driving a simple ON/OFF 3-way valve of hydraulic servo system by pulse width modulation signal. But the pressure varies according to the duty ratio and carrier frequency and repeated on-off action induces pressure fluctuation. So equations for mean pressure and ripple amplitude are theoretically derived as a function of on/off time, the system parameters which decide the pressure characteristics are arranged and they are verified by experimental study. As the result selection criteria for the major design parameters are established and the basic strategy to suppress the unnecessary fluctuation can be provided for a hydraulic pressure control system using these type of valves.

  • To improve the performance of a bent-axis type axial piston pump driven by the tapered pistons, it is necessary to know the pressure ripple characteristics. The purpose of this paper is to understand the effect on the pressure ripple characteristics and the prediction by comparing experimental and theoretical results. The simulation model of the bent-axis type axial piston pump is developed in the AMESim environment using the geometrical dimension and the driving mechanism of the piston pump. The results can be obtained to predict the performance characteristics of the bent-axis type axial piston pump.

예인윈치 케이블 권선정렬 시스템의 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control of a Cable Spooling System for Towed Array Handling Winch)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study on the control of a self-activated cable spooling system for towed away handling winch using a hydraulic servo driving unit and a cable position measurement mechanism. To design a controller of the cable spooling system, it is carried out the analysis of the hydraulic servo system and derived the relationship of a parameters through the control theory. Also, it is derived from the control specfications using settling rotation angle and spooling safety ratio proposed to the analysis for the behavior of the system. The cable spooling system is tested and evaluated to validate the performance of the controller.
