철도차량용 공기스프링 신뢰성 시험 및 평가 (Reliability Test and Evaluation of Air Spring for Railway Vehicle)

  • Air spring system was accepted for railway vehicle secondary suspension to reduce and absorb the vibration and noise. The low natural frequency ensures a comfortable ride and an invariably good stiffness. In this paper, the characteristics and durability test was conducted in laboratory by using servo-hydraulic fatigue testing system to reliability evaluation of air spring for electric railway vehicle. The experimental results show that the characteristics and durability of domestic development productions are obtained the good results. And to guarantee the adaption of air spring, the ride comfort and air pressure variation were measured in train test on subway line.

아이스 슬러리의 수송 및 냉열이용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Transport and Heat Utilization of Ice Slurries)

  • To investigate hydraulic and thermal characteristics of ice slurries in a circular tube, ice slurries were tested in a flow loop with a constant heat flux test section, for ranges of flow velocity, ice fraction and heat flux. Heat transfer coefficients and friction factors of ice slurries were calculated by measuring the outer wall temperatures of the test section and the pressure drops over the test section. Heat transfer coefficients of ice slurries were 9% higher than the heat transfer coefficients expected by Petukhov. Friction factors were about 4% lower than the friction factors expected by Petukhov. The effective thermal capacity of ice slurry with 12.8% ice fraction, was found to be about 3 times higher than the thermal capacity of water.

누적손상이론을 이용한 기계류부품의 가속수명시험법 개발 (Development of Accelerated Life Test Method for Machanical Parts Using Cumulative Damage Theory)

  • This study was performed to develop accelerated life test method of machanical parts using cumulative damage theory that used to model the fatigue of parts that receive variable load. The cumulative damage theory was introduced, and the estimation of life and calculation of accelerated life test time was illustrated. As the actual application example, accelerated life test method of agricultural tractor transmission was described. Life distribution of agricultural tractor transmission was supposed to follow Weibull distribution and life test time was calculated under the conditions of average life (MTBF) 3,000 hours and 90% reliability for one test sample. According to the cumulative damage theory, because test time can shorten in case increase test load, test time could be reduced by 482 hours when we put the load 1.1 times of rated load than 0.73 times of rated load that is equivalent load calculated by load spectrum of the agricultural tractor. This time, acceleration coefficient was 11.7. This accelerated test method was used to develop accelerated test method of gear reducer, hydraulic hose and bearing as well as agricultural tractor transmission and it is considered to be applied comprehensively to machanical parts the fatigue of which is happened by load or pressure etc.

액체로켓엔진 연소기용 단일 분사기 연소기와 축소형 연수고 수류/연소시험 결과 비교 (Comparison of Combustion Performance between Single Injector Combustor and Sub-scale Combustor)

  • This paper describes the results of cold flow test and hot firing tests of an uni-element coaxial swirl injector and hot firing tests of a subscale combustor, as to the development effort of coaxial swirl injector for high performance liquid rocket engine combustor. A major design parameter for coaxial swirl injector is the recess number of a bi-swirl injector. The results of hot firing tests of the uni-element injector combustor and the sub-scale combustor are analyzed to investigate the effect of the recess number influencing on the combustion performance and pressure fluctuation. The test results of a cold flow test of the unielement combustor shows that it was shown that the change in recess number has significant effect on mixing characteristics and efficiency, while the effect of recess number on atomization characteristic is not The results of a series of firing tests using unielement and subscale combustor show that the recess length significantly affects the hydraulic characteristics, the combustion efficiency, and the dynamics of the liquid oxygen/kerosene bi-swirl injector. As a point of combustion performance, combustion efficiencies are 90% for unielement combustor and 95% for subscale combustor. The difference in the characteristic velocities between the unielement combustor and the subscale combustor may be caused by the difference in thermal loss to the combustor wall and the relative lengths of the combustion chamber. For a mixed type coaxial swirl combustor, the pressure drop across the injector increases as recess number becomes larger. The low frequency pressure fluctuation observed in unielement combustor can be related to the propellant mixing characteristics of the coaxial bi-swirl injector. The effect of the recess number on the pressure fluctuation inside the combustion chamber is more significant in un i-element combustor than the subscale combustor, of which the phenomena are also observed in time domain and frequency domain.

결정질 암반의 투수량계수 도출을 위한 펄스시험의 적용성 연구 (Applicability of Pulse Tests to Estimate Transmissivity in Crystalline Rock)

  • 본 논문에서는 결정질 암반에 건설된 지하연구시설에서 암반의 수리지질특성을 도출하기 위해 수행할 수 있는 현장수리시험의 방법으로 펄스시험을 소개하였다. 아울러 지하연구시설에서 수행한 슬러그시험과 펄스시험의 결과를 비교하여 결정질 암반의 수리지질특성 도출에 대한 펄스시험의 적용 가능성을 평가하였다. 펄스시험과 슬러그시험의 결과를 비교해 볼 때, 매질의 투수성이 낮은 시험구간에서는 그 결과가 매우 유사하게 도출되었지만 투수량계수가 1 × 10-8 ㎡/s 이상인 구간에서는 약간의 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 투수성의 차이는 수리시험 시 적용되는 수리 영향 반경의 차이에서 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 또한 시험결과를 통하여 펄스시험을 투수량계수가 1 × 10-7 ㎡/s 이상인 시험구간에서 수행할 때, 시험 중 빠른 수두회복 때문에 정확한 시험결과를 도출하기 어렵다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 펄스시험은 비록 투수성이 큰 구간에서 수리지질특성을 도출하기 어렵지만, 저투수성 매질의 암반에서의 수리지질특성을 도출할 때 비교적 빠른 시간에 수리지질특성을 파악할 수 있는 경제적인 시험 방법이라고 제안할 수 있다.

상온 수압반복시험 시 Type 3 복합재용기 내 공기층의 온도변화 (Temperature Variations of Air Pocket in Type-3 Composite Vessel during Ambient Hydraulic Cycling Test)

  • This research aims to increase the reliability and reproducibility of the ambient cycling test by properly making corrections to the test procedure. The vessel (106 L) is initially filled with 70 L of water and horizontally placed on a balance. The pressure range inside the vessel varies from 2.5 to 25.9 MPa at the frequency of 6 cycles per minute. After reviewing the results, there was a temperature difference of approximately $10^{\circ}C$ between the air pocket and the water, and the upper part of the liner faced a repeated temperature change of $40^{\circ}C$. It is possible for the aluminum liner of the composite vessel to be damaged by such a sharp change in temperature. Additionally, as a result, no pass having anything to do with the purpose of the test would occur. Therefore, it is suggested that the air pocket be completely removed.

고압수 접촉상태가 수압파쇄에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of High Pressure Water Contact State on Hydraulic Fracturing)

  • 본 전통석유자원을 대체할 수 있는 석유자원으로 부상하고 있는 셰일가스가 부존된 셰일층은 낮은 투과성을 가지고 있어 생산성을 향상시키기 위해 수압파쇄법이 적용된다. 본 연구는 일반 시추공과 나선형 홈을 가지는 시추공을 모사한 축소 모형 시험체에 대해 실내수압파쇄 시험을 실행하고 초기파쇄압과 유체접촉상태를 비교 분석하여 공벽형상에 따른 수압파쇄결과를 알아보았다. 또 그 결과를 3차원 개별요소 프로그램인 3DEC을 이용한 수치해석 모델링 값과 비교하였으며, 선행연구 자료와 비교하여 신뢰성 있는 결과를 도출하고자 하였다. 실험결과 고압수의 접촉면적보다는 유도홈의 형태에 의한 응력집중의 효과가 수압파쇄에 더욱 효율적이였다. 따라서 고압수의 응력집중을 높일 수 있는 인공적인 유도홈을 만들 시 적은 수압으로 큰 파쇄효과를 나타낼 수 있을것으로 생각된다.

자동차 유압브레이크용 고무호스의 내구성 시험 및 미세손상에 관한 연구 (Durability Test and Micro-Damage Formation of Rubber Hose for Automotive Hydraulic Brake)

  • 자동차용 유압브레이크 고무호스 어셈블리 제품은 자동차에 장착되어 실제로 사용 중에 가압, 굽힘, 비틀림, 열하중 등의 복합적인 스트레스를 받는다. 고무호스의 재질은 EPDM(ethylene-propylene diene monomer)고무와 PVA(polyvinyl acetate)섬유 보강층 그리고 중간고무로 NR(natural rubber)고무가 사용되고 있다. 고무호스 어셈블리 제품의 내구성과 파괴 메커니즘을 조사하기 위해 굽힘과 비틀림의 반복하중 사이클 수가 10만, 20만, 30만, 40만, 최종파열 사이클 수까지 되도록 시험하였다. 유압브레이크 고무호스의 초기크랙 발생을 알아보기 위해 제품 시험편을 다이아몬드 휠커터를 이용하여 수직 절단하여 폴리싱한 후 광학현미경과 주사형 전자현미경(SEM)으로 단면을 관찰하였다. 40만 사이클의 피로하중을 받은 시험편을 보면 외면고무와 PVA섬유 사이의 계면을 따라 길이 1mm의 층간분리가 일어났으며, 이러한 손상은 외면고무의 표피층으로 균열을 진전시켜 고무호스를 최종적으로 찢어지게 하는 것이다.

비파괴시험에 의한 GFRP Pipe의 평가 (The Evaluation of GFRP Pipe by NDT Methods)

  • It is desirable to develop the effective NDT techniques to evaluate the strength of composite structures. In this study several of acoustic NDT techniques were applied to investigate useful parameters for evaluating the filament wound GFRP structures and following results were obtained. 1. Propagation velocity of stress wave to axial direction in the filament wound GFRP pipe depends on the effective modulus along the propagation direction and source location was parcticable from the a measured velocities. 2. By the application of acoustic emission techniques to GFRP pipe during hydraulic test, it was proven to be possible to detect the damage initiating pressure which could be evaluated nondestructively through the measuring of stress wave energy factor(SWEF). 3. The final failure pressure of GFRP was greatly influenced in the presence of pass through defects, and void-like defects were more dangerous than the laminar type defects.

  • Experimental study on combustion characteristics of double swirl coaxial injectors has been conducted for the assessment of critical design parameters of injectors. A subscale thrust chamber has been fabricated with a water-cooled copper nozzle, which allows a chamber to be reused without replacing parts. Two different designs of injectors have been tested for the understanding of the effects of recess length on combustion. Clearly, the recess length drastically affects the combustion efficiency and hydraulic characteristics of the injector. Internal mixing of propellants in the injector with the recess number of two increases a combustion efficiency and reveals sound combustion although a pressure drop required for the similar amount of mass flow rates increases compared with the injector of the recess number of one.
