By understanding the concept of transculturality, this paper tries to look at the mixedness shown in modern dance works in Korea. By shedding light on the transculturality character that Welsch, emphasizes, we will interpret the artistic transition and the art phenomena that appear in Korean dance.

한국형 블록버스터는 호미 바바의 문화적 혼성주의가 표명하는 두 문화간의 만남과 충돌의 변증법으로 완성된 작품들이다. '한국형'과 '블록버스터'가 한국적이라는 것과 서구적인 것을 나뉘어 대표하고 있으면서도 그 경계는 해체되고 변증법적으로 혼합되어 혼성적이고 복합적인 새로운 하나를 탄생시킨다. 한국형 블록버스터로 대표되는 [쉬리], [JSA], [실미도], [태극기 휘날리며]는 분단 이데올로기라는 한국적 특수성을 이슈화하는 민족적 서사를 내용으로 하고 있으면서 그 표현양식과 제작방식은 지극히 서구적 보편성에 충실한 스타일로 바바의 문화적 혼성성의 특성을 고스란히 담고 있다. 문화적 혼성주의를 통해 한국 영화 미학의 현주소를 탐구해 보고자 한다.

특정 문화 콘텐츠에 대한 대중적 호응의 이면에서 펼쳐지는 정치경제학과 개인의 심리학에 이르기까지의 드라마를 완전히 이해하기란 쉽지 않다. 다만 장르영화의 흥망성쇠에서도 볼 수 있듯이 대중은 영화라는 문화 콘텐츠를 통해 새로움과 진부함이 교차하는 지점, 즉 자신이 알고 있는 세계의 현존을 확인하는 동시에 그 너머의 세계에 대한 비전을 통해 삶의 의미를 재구성하고자 한다는 것은 분명하다. 본고는 이와 같은 맥락 안에서 <매트릭스> 시리즈의 서사가 제시하는 혼성적 특징을 서사와 인물, 함축적 의미의 저장고로 존재하는 종교적/철학적 질문의 측면에서 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 분석은 새로움과 진부함의 경계 사이에서 현란한 곡예를 보여줌으로써 대중성을 획득한 동시에 SF 영화의 담론을 활성화시킨 <매트릭스> 시리즈의 전략을 이해할 수 있는 하나의 방안이 될 것이다.

Keeping in mind the hybridity and plurality of Southern Literature, this paper discusses the traits of Southern literature in Jayne Ann Phillips's first novel, Machine Dream. The novel's frequent use of memory and oral reconstruction of a family history accompanied by the feeling of loss in the process of depicting the South's past typically signifies "The Southern" which reminds us of the works of William Faulkner, Katherine Ann Porter, and Eudora Welty. Nevertheless, Phillips's South is more fragmented and her narrative is more evasive and varied than any of her Southern predecessors. The South of the twentieth century from the period of Depression until 1972 is reconstructed differently depending on memories and desires of the four members of Hampson family in this novel, either as a place of nostalgia or as the place of trauma or as the place to survive only in memory. The oxymoronic title of the novel, "machine dreams" signifies that dream and memory of the South cannot remain independent in its epistemological entity but exist as a mixture of materiality of every day life in the modern South. The hybridity of this dream and of the South is what defines itself as Southern. Yet Phillips retains feeling of loss and lament enough to create a modern Southern novel rooted in Southern Literature. Thus, the title itself works an antinomic signifier of both the presence and absence of the dream of the South and of Southern Literature.

이 연구는 21세기 이후 새롭게 대두되고 있는 하이브리드의 개념을 연극 공간으로 적용하여 특별히 관객이 적극적으로 극에 개입하고 참여하는 '관객 참여형 연극'에 관한 새로운 접근을 시도해 보는 것에 목적을 두었다. 사실, '하이브리드'는 이미 오랜 시간 인류의 문화 형성과 전승 가운데 주요한 동력을 제공해 왔으며 이를 무대 위로 다루는 연극에서 또한 그 혼종성은 의미 있는 원리로 작용해 왔다. 이전의 극장과 텍스트 중심의 전통적인 연극에서는 '현존과 부재', '현실과 허구' 그리고 '즉자와 대자'의 측면에서 그 혼종성이 오직 무대 위의 한정적 움직임으로 제한된 바 있다. 하지만 20세기 아방가르드 이후 '해체'의 정신을 바탕으로 객석과 무대 사이의 경계가 무너지고 그 사이에서 하이브리드는 이전의 '무대 한정적 하이브리드'에서 '무대를 넘어 객석을 포함하는 연극 공간 전체'의 하이브리드로 확장되기에 이른다. 다시 말해, 객석과 관객은 이제 동등한 연극적 요소로서 다른 요소들과 동등한 수평적 연결 구조를 통해 함께 뒤섞이게 되었으며 이를 바탕으로 이전과는 전혀 다른 새로운 결과물이 형성되는 것이다. 따라서, 관객 참여형 연극은 이전의 전통적인 연극 공간 안에서 가장 이질적인 '객석과 무대', '관객과 배우' 사이의 일종의 하이브리드 현상으로 '혼종화된 관객', '혼종화된 공간' 그리고 '혼종화된 텍스트'라는 독특한 정체성으로 또 다른 접근이 가능할 것이다.

조직이론을 포함한 경영관리 및 기업가정신 연구 영역의 연구자들은 혼합조직으로서 사회적 기업이 갖는 특성을 가정하여 사회적 기업의 행태 및 성과에 관한 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 하지만 기존 관련 연구들이 가정하고 있는 사회적 기업의 이중가치, 즉 경제적 가치와 사회적 가치 추구 특성에 관한 근원적 연구는 부족하다고 판단된다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 조직이론 및 경영관리 문헌에 기반하여 혼합조직으로서의 사회적 기업이 갖는 이중가치 추구 특성을 일반 영리기업, 비영리조직과 비교 분석하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 한국의 사회적 기업과 영리기업, 비영리조직을 대상으로 조사된 '사회적 가치 서베이' 자료를 활용하였으며, 이들 세 유형의 조직이 가지고 있는 '이중가치 추구 지향성'과 '이중가치 실현을 위한 조직운영'의 강도를 측정하여 비교하였다. 분석 결과 '이중가치 통합 지향'은 세 유형의 조직 중 사회적 기업이 가장 약한 것으로 나타났으며, '이중가치 실현을 위한 조직운영'과 관련하여서는 세 유형의 조직 중 사회적 기업이 가장 균형적으로 실행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 한국의 사회적 기업을 대상으로 한 실증분석을 통해 기존 관련 연구들이 가정했던 사회적 기업의 조직 혼합성을 영리기업, 비영리조직과 비교하여 보여주었다는 점에서 함의를 가진다.

This study analyzed the trends and aesthetic characteristics of fur design found in the contemporary fashion to examine the status of fur material in the contemporary fashion design, and through an analysis of the meaning it attempted to come up with a new viewpoint and form on material for the future fashion design. A literature review was used to explore the kinds and properties of furs. In addition, an empirical analysis of works that have appeared in fashion collections since the year 2000 was conducted with local and foreign fashion magazines such as Gap, Vogue, and Mode & Mode and other publications related to fashion collections. In the contemporary fashion, the trends of fur design are represented by use of various items, material combinations, application to decorative purposes(like trimmings, details, or accessories), and a wide range of colors and textures available by advanced dyeing and finishing techniques. The aesthetic values intrinsic to fur design are that the expression of conspicuous luxury covers even the qualitative aspect of luxury and adds fashionable images to casual items, contributing to the popularization of fur fashion, by using a variety of artificial furs; the expression of sensual feminine beauty allows the animal and primitive feel characteristic of furs to convert a feminine body into a sensual image of more than a simple biological impulse; and the expression of hybridity presents a new viewpoint through distortions, exaggerations, deviations from the existing constituent forms, or futuristic sensibilities in all elements of fashion design.

Aerides vandarum and Vanda stangeana are two rare and endangered vandaceous orchids with immense floricultural traits. The intergeneric hybrids were synthesized by performing reciprocal crosses between them. In vitro germination response of the immature hybrid embryos was found to be best on half-strength Murashige and Skoog medium supplemented with 20% (v/v) coconut water/liquid endosperm from tender coconut. Determination of hybridity was made as early as the immature seeds or embryos germinated in vitro, using randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. Out of 15 arbitrarily chosen decamer RAPD primers, two were found to be useful in amplification of polymorphic bands specific to the parental species and their presence in the reciprocal crosses. However, a decisive profile that can identify the reciprocal crosses could not be provided by RAPD. Amplification of the trnL-F non-coding regions of chloroplast DNA of the parent species and hybrids aided easy identification of the reciprocal crosses from the fact that maternal inheritance of chloroplast DNA held true for these intergeneric hybrids. Subsequent restriction digestion of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplified trnL-F non-coding regions of chloroplast DNA also consolidated the finding. Such PCR-based molecular markers could be used for early determination of hybridity and easy identification of the reciprocal crosses.

In this modern digital era, there are very vigorous arguments about digital and media aesthetics throughout culture and art on the basis of new transferring of recognition about the art-media's characteristics. Therefore, this paper tries to discover the art-media's characteristics and aesthetic value that are included in contemporary digital fashion through studying the fusion between digital and fashion. The purpose of this research is to offer positive and evolutive opportunity of artistic thinking to make the meeting between fashion and media suggest the future generation, adaptation and recognition in the media - developmental environment that will be deeper and more fueling. In the area of research method, this paper takes the method of theoretical research by referring national and foreign literatures and preceding research-papers, and carries out investigation and analysis about digital fashion for the last 10 years. The results of this study; The art-media's characteristics of modern digital fashion are virtuality, immateriality and characteristics of multimedia. The aesthetic values can be classified with four kinds of properties. First is hybridity initiated from multi-media that creates works; the second is infinite reproductivity initiated from the characteristics of the multi media and the digital carrier. Thirdly, there is also interactivity appeared all over the area of production, adaptation and perception caused by non-linearity and immateriality. Finally there is synesthesia that can extend the capability of sense through digital media.
