Purpose - This study verified the mediating effect of volunteer activities in the influence of global citizenship consciousness on human rights sensitivity of university students majoring in business administration. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey was conducted on 172 4-year college students in G City, Korea. SPSS 23.0 program was used to perform frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. In addition, path analysis was conducted to confirm the mediating effect of volunteer activities. Result - First, the "justice domain" had a statistically significant effect on human rights sensitivity. Second, the "cognitive domain" had a positive and significant effect on volunteer participation. Third, the volunteer participation of university students majoring in business administration had a positive and significant effect on human rights sensitivity. Fourth, in the relationship between global citizenship consciousness and human rights sensibility of university students, volunteer participation had a partial mediating effect. Conclusion - The period of college enrollment is an important time to establish life goals and strategies as adults. Therefore, if the university environment is built to grow into a healthy global citizen, it will help to cultivate global competence and the "sensitivity to human rights" that is more emphasized in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.

The study is to research their parenting efficacy and parenting practices of a parent teacher as a volunteer(PTV) in the kindergarten. The subjects were mothers (N=127) in Choongbuk Province who had had volunteer education as a teacher assistant. The data were collected by their completing a questionnaire about Parenting efficacy and a Parent As A Teacher inventory (PAAT). The results include as follows: firstly, in PTV's parenting efficacy, 'the type of educational institution children are attending' is an important variable. Secondly, 'mother's educational background', 'father's educational background', and 'the type of educational institution children attending' are important variables in volunteer parents' parenting practices. Besides, 'mother's educational background' and 'participation motivation in volunteer activity' are important variables in parenting practices of 'control/permission' and of 'teaching/learning', and in general parenting practices. Finally, 'parenting efficacy', 'mother's educational background', and 'the sex of children' are important variables in volunteer teachers' parenting practices.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the eco-friendly values of the elderly. Specific objectives of this study were 1) to survey the eco-friendly levels of the elderly, 2) to find out related variables of the eco-friendly values of the elderly 3) to suggest to develop the eco-friendly values of the elderly for volunteer activity of environmental problem solutions. Two hundred eight elderly persons in the region of Cheong-ju(Chung-cheong Buk Do) were selected, and questionnaire was utilized for collecting data. The results were as follows: The eco-friendly levels of the elderly were relatively high and differed significantly according to educational level, health status, religion, participating volunteer activity and life satisfaction. The significant independent variables influencing the eco-friendly values of the elderly were educational level, health status, religion, participating volunteer activity, and life satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, voluntarism of the elderly provides the solution of environmental problem and life satisfaction, self development for the elderly.

Volunteer services in communities work to provide human and material resources needed in social welfare centers and help the centers efficiently and effectively respond to diverse needs in society as well as provide quality services to clients. With this in mind, this study presents a few political suggestions on their utilization. First, potential volunteer development should be done in communities. Second, users of diverse volunteering services should be developed. Third, centers should pay attention to promotion of volunteers and the volunteers should be completely educated before services are rendered.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between a motivation to volunteer, personality, and interpersonal relationships in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted using self-reported questionnaires to collect data from 185 nursing students in C city from February 1 to 28, 2018. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS version 21.0. Results: The mean score were 3.18±0.54 of motivation to volunteer, 4.62±0.50 of personality, and 3.74±0.44 of interpersonal relationships. Motivation to volunteer was positively correlated with personality and interpersonal relationships. A significant positive correlation was also found between personality and interpersonal relationships. Conclusion: Based on study results, nursing students need an opportunity to understand the nature of human and respect others through participation in various volunteer activities, and to improve personality and interpersonal relationship. Nurse educators should focus on the positive benefits of volunteering for nursing students and the strategies for encougring volunteering should be incorporated into the curriculum.

목적: 인생의 말기는 삶을 영위하는 가운데 가장 중요한 부분 중의 한가지이다. 그런데 의사, 간호사를 포함한 의료진과 자원봉사자가 말기 환자에 대한 이해와 교육이 충분하게 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 호스피스 완화의료의 꽃으로 알려진 자원봉사자들에 대한 교육내용을 비교하고자 한다. 방법: 다양한 기관에서 자원봉사자들에 대한 교육이 실시하고 있으나 강의 내용과 강의 시수를 알 수 있는 전국 9개 기관의 교육내용을 분석 비교하였다. 결과: 평균 강의 시간은 21.56 ($14{\sim}30$)시간이었으며, 모든 기관에서 공통적으로 포함된 교육 내용은 호스피스 완화의료의 이해, 삶과 죽음에 대한 이해, 호스피스 대상자의 심리 이해 등이며, 온라인을 통한 교육이 1개 기관, 나머지 8개 기관에서는 집체교육을 통한 강의를 위주로 시행되고 있다. 결론: 자원봉사자들의 지역사회 참여의 활성화를 도모하여 말기 환자와 가족에게 제공되는 서비스를 질적으로 강화시키기 위하여 자원봉사자를 위한 교육과정의 목표와 교육내용, 교육시간, 교육기관으로서의 인정평가 등에 대한 전반적인 표준화가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

본 연구는 현상학적 방법을 적용하여 직장인들의 자원봉사활동경험의 의미와 본질을 탐색하고 이해하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 대한 질문은 "직장인이 경험한 자원봉사활동의 의미는 어떠한가" 이다. 연구 참여자는 7명이며, 연구 자료인 면접 촬영 비디오는 현상학적 방법 중 Colaizzi의 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 직장인들의 자원봉사활동 경험은 18가지의 주제와 6가지의 범주로 추출되었다. 6개의 범주는 '한 발 내딛음', '한 걸음 다가감', '함께 스며듦', '더불어 함께함을 알아감', '회사생활의 여유를 찾음'으로 나타났다. 직장인들이 경험한 자원봉사활동의 의미는 더불어 사는 사회에서 이웃을 알아가는 과정이고, 자원봉사활동을 통해 자신의 생활이 서서히 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 직장인 자원봉사활동 경험의 내용과 과정에 대한 이해를 향상시킴으로써 사회복지분야의 인적자원을 증진하고 자원봉사활동의 활성화에 있어 기초 자료가 될 것이다.

인체의 하지 MR Angiography(MRA)를 위한 하지전용 dual birdcage RF 코일을 설계, 제작하였으며 Volunteer실험을 하여 그 유용성을 보였다. 제안된 코일은 인체의 하지 전체의 영상을 위한 코일로 허벅지로부터 종아리까지 전체를 두 번의 영상을 통해 cover하게 된다. 기존의 방식대로 한 개의 코일을 옮기며 두 번 촬영할 경우 코일을 도중에 옮기게 외어 다리를 움직일 수밖에 없어 두 set의 영상이 완전히 연결이 되지 않지만 제안된 코일의 경우 침대만 움직이게 되므로 이런 문제가 없게 된다. 제안된 코일의 성능은 Volunteer의 하지 MRI 및 MRA를 얻어 확인했으며 임상적으로 매우 유용한 것으로 확인되었다.

An anatomically detailed elderly human body model is under development. Using the anthropometric database of domestic nation-wide size survey, SizeKorea, a standard size and shape of 50th %tile elderly was constructed. Through the local recruitment process, a male volunteer with 71 years of age, 163cm of height and 63kg of weight has been selected. The exterior (skin) and interior (skeleton and organ) geometries were acquired from whole body 3D laser scan and various medical images such as CT, X-ray, and Ultrasonic of the volunteer. A particular attention has been paid into the combining process of exterior and interior geometries especially for joint articulation positions since they were measured at different postures (sitting vs. supine). A whole ribcage of PMHS which possessed similar anthropometry and age of standard 50th %tile elderly was prepared and dissected for the precise gauge of cortical rib bone thickness distributions. After completing the morphological construction of elderly human body, the finite element modeling will be processed by meshing elements and assigning mechanical properties to various biological tissues which reflect the aging effect.

Many cellular phone volunteer studies have been conducted since such a social issue is raised that the long time usage of cellular phone may increase health risk. While there were various volunteer studies using GSM cellular phone on heart rate and blood pressure at abroad, very few studies using CDMA phone were conducted in domestic and abroad. In this study, the volunteer groups of 21 adults were exposed at 300 mW for half an hour, and the physiological parameters such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, and skin impedance were measured. All the parameters' results did not reveal any differences between exposure and non-exposure conditions in adults.
