This study was performed to phenomenologically look into residential behaviors from the standpoint of human housing environment experiences, rather than physical environment, aiming to examine the emotional implication of housing environment by finding human mental motives included in memorable adolescent experiences into housing environment. In this study, an analysis on an environment life story was used to describe both the behaviors and spaces of significantly memorable experiences into housing environment. In addition, this study was carried out by analysing the emotional implication of descriptions selected from respondents' answers. A questionnaire survey was performed by questioning the students of D university about their significantly memorable adolescent experience in housing environment from the 4th to 15th of June 2007. Statistic date was analysed using the SPSS 14.0 Program.

History of the Sensibility Ergonomics is explained. Concepts, definition, and research methods on the human sensibility are proposed for systematic applications of human sensibility studies to product and environment developments. Sensibility Ergonomics was born in socio-technological environments where consumers required aesthetic and satisfactory products in addition to useful and usable ones, and manufactures were trying to develop consumer-oriented, user-friendly products. Sensibility Ergonomics is defined as "multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary processes for developing products and environment as usable, comfortable and satisfactory with the information on human sensibility." Human sensibility is functionally defined as "feelings generated when perceived sensory and information stimuli are reflected from memory which has been accumulated through personal experiences." Human sensibility is affected by at least three factors: personal, social, and cultural. Consumers evaluate products in three aspects : functional, sensorial, and cultural sensibilities. Human sensibility is personal, dynamic, and ambiguous. It is generated reflectively and intuitively against external stimuli. No Physiological responses are accompanied, and one cannot control his/her sensibility. However, the sensibility affects the decision making or behavior of the person. To understand the human sensibility many inter-disciplinary methods should be used instead of one-variable approach. Micro-scopic studies such as Questionnaire, interview, behavioral analysis, and psychophysiological experiments can be performed. In addition, social and cultural studies are essential to understand an individual's sensibility. Results of sensibility studies can be applied to setup new interactions between human and machine through sensible(or affective) human-machine (computer) interfaces. Human-oriented and user-friendly products can be made with the information on human sensibility.

The purpose of this study is to suggest healthcare facilities as ecological architecture. The physical environmental health of human mainly depends on the Quality of architectural natural environment, so it is very important to prepare healing environment on the healthcare setting. This study proceeds to search planning factors of healthcare facilities in ecological architecture through configuration of three main goals. It also explain the importance of ecological planning methods, and suggest a way of architectural planning of health-care facilities in future, through the study of the features and analysis of application methods. The future hospital should provide reduction of the effect on environments, increasing amenity, healing landscape. To create healthcare facilities ecological is essential not only to human health but also human survival.

It can be said that the relationship between the maneuvering ability of operators and the navigational environment affects the safe degree of navigation in the collision avoidance situation. In order to reduce the occurrence probability of accident and to maintain the safety, it is necessary to clarify the relationship between human behavior and navigational environment. In this study, therefore, we analyzed and discussed the relationship between the maneuvering characteristics and the safety focused on human behavior as a fundamental factor of marine accidents using ship handling simulator and questionnaire. As a result, we concluded that navigational environment changes variously and the maneuvering ability of operators also varies with the navigational environment, and the ship handling characteristics strongly affect the occurrence probability of accident.

The natural environment plays an important role not only in ecological sustainability, but also in human health. Growing attention has been focused on the health benefits of natural environments with increasing scientific evidence in this field. Urban green space has positive effects on individual and community health; thus, it is considered as social infrastructure. The natural environment promotes mental health by relieving psychological stress and depression. Physical health can be improved by experiencing nature, which reduces physiological stress and boosts the immune system. Several international initiatives have been undertaken to improve our understanding in this field and to utilize these benefits for health promotion. Interdisciplinary approaches are needed to promote human health through the natural environment in the fields of science, education, planning and policy.

The paper aims to present a new human-scale haptic advice for virtual environment named Scaleable-SPIDAR (Space Interface Device for Artificial Reality), which can provides different aspects of force feedback sensations, associated mainly with weight, contact and inertia, to both hands within a cave-like space. Tensioned string techniques are used to generate such haptic sensations, while keeping the space transparent and unbulky. The device is scaleable so as to enclose different cave-like working spaces. Scaleable-SPIDAR is coupled with a large screen where a computer generated virtual world is displayed. The used approach is shown to be simple, safe ad sufficiently accurate for human-scale virtual environment.

In this study, crude extracts of the marine eelgrass Zostera japonica and their solvent-partitioned fractions were evaluated for their inhibitory effect against AGS, HT-1080 and MCF-7 human cancer cells using MTT assay. Each of the crude extracts (acetone/methylene, chloride, and methanol) of Z. japonica showed a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of human cancer cells. The combined crude extracts were partitioned between $CH_2Cl_2$ and water. The organic layer was further partitioned between 85% aq. MeOH and n-hexane, and the aqueous layer was then fractionated into n-BuOH and $H_2O$, successively. Growth inhibition effects of solvent-partitioned fractions from Z. japonica on human cancer cells increased in a dose-dependent manner. Among these tested samples, the 85% aq. MeOH fraction revealed good inhibitory effects on the growth of AGS and HT-1080 human cancer cells, while the n-hexane fraction exhibited good inhibitory effects on the growth of AGS and MCF-7 human cancer cells. In addition, 85% aq. MeOH and n-hexane fractions enhanced mRNA expression of p53 gene. These results suggest that there is further scope for the isolation of active compounds from Z. japonica, which should show much stronger anticancer activity.

Major studies of Home Economics have had an intention to keep the standard scientific perspective based on value-free and positivism. But in the early 20C there was a change within scientific philosophy and the holistic perspective has risen in the part of scocial and natural science. The phenomenon dealt in the field of Home Economics is the interaction between human and environment and it regards human and family behavior in the context of the environment as a major object. This interaction can be micro/macro and objectiv $e_jective, So it has a very complex trait. The goal of this study is to verify the applicability of Human Ecology as an alternative framework to explain each level of the family phenomena. Further it is concluded that it is very efficient to present Human Ecology as a general theory for Home Economics because there are increasing demands for understanding interdependence and persuing for balanced co-existence between human and encironment. Finally this study concludes that Human Ecology is not a past theory but a very comprehensive one to construct and abstract theory-building.ng.

So many patterns of the clothing give the specific indication for one's clothing behavior and present the common style for the society. Human being gives the one's free expression and attempts to change the existing cultural environment by the clothing even though human being would be restricted in choosing the clothing within the category of the society & the culture. The value of human being which attempts to escape the restriction through the behavior theory of T. Parsons is analysed and studied. The role of the modern society is being transformed and human being attempts to express one's self through the clothing very strongly. The clothing behavior means the expression of oneself for others. This phenomenon comes from the changing of human being's view of value through the social & cultural environment which give human being the freedom of the individual to choose the various clothing.
